Character Sheet
Name:
Shen-Mu
Date of Birth: December 31st 1995
SEO License: Silver
Physical Description
Rather young looking for her age, mistakable for someone 5 years younger, often catching people by surprise. Her most noticable features being her foggy gray eyes, an indicator of her blindness. Matching her pale colored eyes, her skin is just as pale, giving her an odd, almost ghostly appearance. Along with this, she grows her hair quite long. Very long, blonde hair, light enough that it is mistaken for white most of the time.
Psychological Profile
Shen is quiet for the most part. Despite her lack of sight she is very observant of those she meets and what she hears, smells, or feels. She has a odd habit of speaking in a complicated, roundabout fashion. While her words do come off as confusing at times, she always speaks her mind and opinion on things.
She is rather reclusive in nature though, despite her observant and truthful manner of speaking. Preferring to keep to herself until it is her turn to speak. Then when she does, she typically lets her audience know what is on her mind.
Medium Talent: Sixth Sense: Her lack of sight doesn't dissuade her from getting around and living her daily life. With her medium talent she can sense the world around her, even things that don't have corporeal form. While she can't see things, she describes her ability as more akin to "touching and feeling things, with thousands of invisible arms."
Her spiritual sense is somewhat higher than average, likely due to it compensating for useless eyes.
Qualifications
Profile
Shen-Mu has been blind most of her life. She grew up in the slums of a poor town, raised by her step-mother. An orphan who never met her parents, so she was raised by a woman that had no blood relationship to her. All was well in her life, the woman teaching her about the soothsaying tricks that Shen-Mu would employ in the future. It wasn't til Shen-Mu was going through grade school, that an illness spread through the slums where she lived. An unknown illness that came and went, said to be linked to supernatural forces. The illness went through the complex that Shen-Mu called home, claiming the lives of several people over the course of several days, including her step-mother; early symptoms included a fever, loss of sight, and general drowsiness, followed by an increase in fever and death. Through sheer luck and likely her medium powers forming, Shen-Mu survived, but the disease had left her without her sight. From here on, Shen-Mu wished to find out just what caused this outbreak, a plague such as this couldn't just come and go as it did, it had to be supernatural in nature she told herself.
Years later, she worked on making a place for herself in the world. Divination services, ghost hunting, and attending supernatural meetings, until the day she was inducted into the SEO.
