There was a French knight who literally wrote the book on Chivalry, IIRC, who had medieval PTSD. I think it was Agincourt he took part in and found himself flinching any time he saw a bird fly in the edge of his vision. The difference between medieval knights and the modern soldier though, is that knights were born and bred for their position as warriors. The closest equivalent to the modern soldier would be the Vietnam draftee and a medieval levy. One of the ways soldiers often avoid psychological disorders or great grief is by talking to their comrades. Medieval soldiers had much more time to do this, and it's been theorized that's how they avoided PTSD. The earliest mention of anything that could be interpreted as PTSD is from a 19th Century text that mentions soldiers' "war fatigue."
As for the combat mentality, Evan Wright's Generation Kill (and the TV series) describes it pretty accurately. I also took pieces of Wright for Madura's character.

There are Argonians in the company. They've infiltrated us already.

Everyone always blames the Argonians

Differences between characters is good, helps define their individuality. Cheery circle jerk 100% of the time gets boring.
While we're talking characters, I got an exercise borrowed from Hank's RP. What does your guy or gal think of everyone else? Make a list of opinions and update it to your sheet's relationship section. Keegan's is in his sheet.
Edit: After the latest ballots...
Execution (2), imprison (5), send her out against Kamals (3).Voting closes on Mar 5th, 0000 PST.
Edit 2: Just checked on UESP, the proper name is "Gray Quarter", not "Grey" or "Quarters".

Kicked out of the city right now is almost a guaranteed death sentence. So if you're getting rid of her, might as well do it at night for max damage. Otherwise, a quick beheading cleans up nice and simple.

Been a while since I read anything Hellboy. Never saw the particular issue about Koschei but bits of the series definitely influenced my writing.
Always thought cat people the softy type, until I found this guy.
