I suppose you might have, in a sense, but you don't seem like someone interested in nuanced scriptural explanations. Regardless, that sounds like quite a story. You wouldn't happen to be in a sharing mood? A story like that sounds like it would be worth hearing.
@Legend

It's hilarious.

*I stare at Drake for a moment, then another. As the dark look sank in properly, I burst into a laugh. It's bright, ecstatic, sharp and staccato. I close my eyes for a moment, to contain the mirth, before flicking them back open with a fundamentally charmed expression.*

I appreciate the advice, but you'll notice I said I'm already being convinced to stay. This group is far too interesting. If you're not all lying through your teeth, this is exactly what I've been looking for these last few years. As for taking sides, well, I try not to do that. My allegiance is first to God- *I pause, to touch my forehead with my left index finger*. After that, well, I'm not particularly interested in politics of any stripe.
>*my power skyrockets beyond what it already was, nearly tripling it. I slowly rise, and my arm raises, my hand grasping what appears to be thin air, but suddenly, the universe itself shakes, as its energy forms into a ball half as large as the universe itself.*

I'm... wow. I think I may have underestimated the scale of this RP.

You're a very candid man, I respect that. And I doubt, if you're right about everyone's capabilities, that I'd be much use either, it seems. Though, you're doing an excellent job of making me want to stay. Just imagine, what my father would say, if he knew the company I've come to keep.
@souleaterfan320

I'll bear that in mind. Seeing as you're not a mythical space-whale, I'm not entirely sure what a Leviathan is, but it certainly sounds grand. I had suspected present company were formidable, exceptional people tend to congeal, in my experience. I'm glad to have my suspicions validated: I'll do my best to not lower the 'strength' quota too much, for as long as I remain.

I think you're not giving him enough credit. Scripture declares that it is the responsibility of the scientist, the data-collector and the chart-maker to measure what is measurable and make measurable what is not so. Of course, you know him better than I do.

Regardless. There's no need for apologies, of course: I've been nothing but intrusive. I'm sorry for your loss, of course: I'm sure you'll get the rest back. And you've got my support in not getting killed, though apparently that is worth very little. Murder is a sin, after all.
Ah, I should probably be asserting more and justifying them with philotes then. It'd solve some of the problems in the interaction between Data and Hymn.
@Legend

Much obliged. I'll stay until there's no threat of my property getting atomized, at the very least. Beyond that, well, I'd hate to impose. You seem like a tight-knit group, I won't spoil the dynamic.
@Legend

*Frustration is visible at the first sentence, a light twisting of lips and narrowing of eyes, a dimming by a shade of the smile, but it returns to normal quick enough, either pride or indignation or a sharp response swallowed.*

Well, then wait I'll simply have to do. You'll forgive me if I don't return to my ship immediately: philotic influences might get picked up by her, and I'd rather not invite her to blot my ship from orbit. It's not the most sturdy of vessels, and vacuum is so very dull.
