Current That awkward moment when you've been away for a few mouths and have to catch up with everything.

Is it weird that I have a good mental image of most of the person just from their usernames?

Now able to properly study the flame up close the world seemed to fall away around Koru, he had seen many mages able to manipulate fire amd even give it a hue such as the one before him. There was something different about this flame before him, its colour looked natural as odd as that sounded, the way it danced in the cold moonlight air this was no magic spell it must be as she said something in her genetics.

"Fascinating..." almost whispering, the magic involved was more than a spell, it was closer to an extension of herself.

Koru's hand scribbled notes and crude images onto his page at incredible speeds never once letting his gaze drop from the orb as if it would disappear if he looked away. The characters scrawled by the wood elf would make little to no sense to few, it mostly looked like an elven child had been mashing their language together crudely on paper.

"So I take it you aren't entirely human" Koru's eyes content with their fill tear themselves away from the flame at back to the woman holding it. A nagging thought that sounded an awful lot like his father kept him from asking further without proper introductions. "Koru Elerren, at your service" he gave a mock curtsy as best he could sitting down.
James bolted up the path leading to the church, his once carefully combed hair was now flailing wildly in the wind as he did his best not too loose his footing on the rough cobblestone. If his father found out about him being late for this he could kiss the rest of his scholarship goodbye, like many here James was less than thrilled about this arrangement. All he wanted to do was finish his studies and go into research and development for the navy, but noooooo he had to go get hitched because there wasn't some other heroes kid to marry off like a common trade good. No time to be angry he thought throwing a breath mint into his mouth and chewing furiously, pushing any thoughts he had from his mind he forced himself to focus and go faster.

Stumbling into the church grounds James stopped outside to catch his breath so he wasn't a wheezing mess when he slipped in. From here he was able to get a good look at this island, at the very least it was a beautiful prison, should be good for solar surfing. Reaching into his pocket James pulled out another breath mint he and sneaked inside he wanted to be sure his breath didn't smell like it had the ride here, he had to stop himself from throwing up in his mouth at the thought of space travel. Quietly James found himself a seat at the back and did his best to look presentable.
Full Name: James Hawkins
Appearance:

Much like the rocks of his home world Jame's tan skin has a distinctive earth tone to it. A simple shirt is held in place by chestnut brown waist coat sticking to his narrow figure, simple muted blue pants and brown leather pants keep his lean legs warm. His hair is a little on the long side, fanning out just above his shoulders kept and kept from his eyes by the part in his hair. He keeps a thick leather pouch on his hip filled with his many tools for tinkering and fixing.
Age: 19
Parent: Jim Hawkins
Likes: Solar surfing, Technology, Star Gazing
Dislikes: Space Travel, Giving or receiving speeches, Early mornings
Bio: Like many traveling to this destination, James was less than thrilled when he found out he was being carted off to some random girl. Not having a bar of his complaints his father shipped him off knowing the space sickness James suffers from would keep him from any drastic escape attempts.

"I haven't the fuzziest thought on where we are, but a different dimension sounds like a good bet" Tic's muscles relaxed into a more comfortable position when Ben responded, finally something normal.

He nodded to the elf as she was pulled aside by doorman, he looked a whole lot better then he was when he left the room. Good, Tic letting his head fall back against his seat a content sign left the small pixie. Returning his gaze to Ben the plain man was giving a glance and wave to someone entering the bar, it was 'Miss No Name' from earlier, she looked a whole lot worse then he remember; then again Tic wasn't looking any better himself.

About to wave her over Tic was interrupted by a blinding light followed by a loud bang.

"DREK!" he shouted though he doubt anyone could hear him after that spectacle, Flash-bang? did Doorman drop one again?

Slowly regaining his sight he could just make out what he could only assume was some kind of mage pacing haveine an argument with several sprites floating around her head.

Annnnnnd we're back to crazy.
