@ViolentVioletNow able to properly study the flame up close the world seemed to fall away around Koru, he had seen many mages able to manipulate fire amd even give it a hue such as the one before him. There was something different about this flame before him, its colour looked natural as odd as that sounded, the way it danced in the cold moonlight air this was no magic spell it must be as she said something in her genetics.
"Fascinating..." almost whispering, the magic involved was more than a spell, it was closer to an extension of herself.
Koru's hand scribbled notes and crude images onto his page at incredible speeds never once letting his gaze drop from the orb as if it would disappear if he looked away. The characters scrawled by the wood elf would make little to no sense to few, it mostly looked like an elven child had been mashing their language together crudely on paper.
"So I take it you aren't entirely human" Koru's eyes content with their fill tear themselves away from the flame at back to the woman holding it. A nagging thought that sounded an awful lot like his father kept him from asking further without proper introductions.
"Koru Elerren, at your service" he gave a mock curtsy as best he could sitting down.
