Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

@The Fated Fallen
Snow!? *head implodes*
C'mon peeps! Let's get adventuring. Or bartering. Or seducing. Or drinking. Or all three. ...all four.
Woo posts!
Characters looking good so far.
The Elf patted Brogach's head as Rayadell spoke. He turned to her in time to see her already making her way off to find various pieces of wood. Calanon nodded in acceptance, and bade Brogach to stay here as he strode toward the towering mountain that stood just beyond the treeline.

It felt nice, out here. Yes, the air was chill. But the quiet of the evening and the sounds of the forest were welcome to this young ranger. It gave him peace, and was always a reminder for him that there was still life and good in this world.

Quietly, he stepped out of the forest, just at the slope of the mountain that swept up to cover the sky northward. He gazed upwards for a moment, admiring its strength, before searching about for various stones to use for their fire pit. He would find a stone or two (or three) and carry it back to Brogach, and then make his way back out again.

As he made his way out on the fourth trip, he stopped at the tree line. Something was different...

The moon's cascading light gave the ground and surrounding forest an ethereal look. His dark eyes gazed to and fro as he did his best to keep his body completely still. There wa-

A groan. A large rumble of a groan reached his keen ears, and his eyes snapped to its source. Down the way eastward were various boulders and a wider area covered in stones and gravel. A massive shape moved within them, and Calanon could just make out what it was after a few moments of observation.

It was a Rock Giant, with a body covered in a rock-like hide and standing over thrice Calanon's height. It was primitive looking, albeit very human-like in appearance save for its skin and granite like facial features. He'd heard they were not too keen on combat or confrontation, preferring to be left alone. Calanon decided to do just that.
The next heavy blow from the Clannfear sent Bardeck skidding. He'd barely gotten his shield up in time, and his arm throbbed from having to block so many hard hits. The Daedra was not unscathed though, having taken three minor hits from Bardeck's axe. The young man gritted his teeth, holding his shield before him and his axe out ready to strike whenever he deemed he needed to.

Similarly, the Clannfear regarded him with hate filled eyes, but stayed back intelligently as if studying the young human. Moments later, it suddenly began to pace to and fro, letting out a clicking growl as it stalked its potential prey, trying to goad Bardeck into a sense of worry and anxiety.
It had no idea what it was getting itself into.

Bardeck began to approach it cautiously, his Axe head now pointed at the beast as if in challenge, feet stepping carefully and steadily, always in stance. The Clannfear waited with its head swaying like a striking snake, using its striking claw as a feint before it attempted to whirl and trip Bardeck with its powerful tail. The warrior saw the trick for what it was, ducking and waving out his shield to block the club-like tail strike. The Clannfear saw his shield out wide, and snapped downwards at Bardeck's exposed face, only for it to forget its own face was also exposed.

An Axe head swung from the ground up, burying itself into the Clannfear's chin and neck. Hot blood seeped out of its wound as the life fled from the Daedra's eyes, and the beast fell over dead. The Daedra's body pushed forward, and with a great warcry, Bardeck heaved the dead weight of the Daedra, pitching it over him and onto the ground. The warrior stood up, yanking his Axe from the beast's head and casually spitting on its corpse for good measure.

He went off in search of more foes, keeping an eye out for Gideon.
I can post in a few days, maybe sooner :)
@SigilYour turn buddeh bud.
Calanon (& Brogach)

Location:Beside the Cave
Interacting with:Mist

Usually if Calanon is flung, by a giant or some such scenario, he lands in a roll and is perfectly fine other than perhaps a scraped knee or elbow during the landing. But this was Brogach, one whom he trusted with his life. To say he was surprised that Brogach was still scared of Ash after having been at least getting along after days of adventuring was an understatement. His faithful steed skidded, and Calanon's compromising position already hanging precariously off the side sent him nearly face first into the dirt.

His bow fell out with him, perhaps fortunately. The Elf smacked into the earth and rolled, Brogach whinnying in fear and regret. The Elf coughed and lifted himself off the ground and onto his knees when he regained command of his jarred body. "It's ok friend!" he called out to the Elk, and he cleared his throat once more before his eyes fell upon the bow on the ground near the mouth of the cave. He made his way over as best he could, gritting his teeth. This mist beast was not going to get away.

"Brogach! To me!" The Elf cried, and felt himself being rejuvinated by Sana's spell. At least she was ok. Breathing in deeply, he nocked an arrow to his bowstring and held it aloft, aiming and taking his time with his next shot. This next one would go into the creature's eye. Hopefully it would work. Everyone else in the party were hurting it now, to varying degrees...

Just as Calanon's Elk companion made it over to his side, did he fire.
Hope Dax's position in the doc is A-OK. I figured him maybe being out in the woods but near enough to see the commotion and maybe do a flanking attack was accurate since he wasn't present in anyone else's social posts. That and his character needs time to himself or he'll get agitated, as per weakness. @Leidenschaft
