Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Herold's eyes couldn't be seen within his tinted visor, but there was no mistaking that grim expression he gave to the trooper when his gun was leveled his way. He was about to raise his shield in a swift movement, but realized that the man had a few reasons to be on edge. This was no normal outfit afterall, but a group formed by the Inquisition itself. He regarded the Celestian next after giving the others a once over. Odd group, he noted. Mostly female and a bit too bubbly for what he expected.

"Soveriegn has been...quiet as of late," he told her when she mentioned they would go out for a dinner. "But there is still a risk. However if I am ordered, then very well. I'll be here to give guidance if ordered."

He moved passed her, searching the house at a steady, albeit unhurried pace. He inspected every room he found, making sure it all checked out. "One could never be too careful," he muttered to himself as he left the last room before his own that he would claim. It was a smaller room, but it suited his needs just fine. He grunted in acknowledgement, and set his pack down, making sure to lock the door behind him.

He kept his weapons with him, however. He was still an Arbites, no matter the Inquisition or their affiliates would say. Making his way downstairs, his footsteps becoming audible stomps on the light stairway, he made his way outside and onto the transport. He gave a nod to those in the back, and set his shield beside him. Judging from his company, this night would be one he might take note of in the future.
(Finally, right? Man, this GM sucks.)

@DeadBeatWalkingI'm gonna complete my sheet this week. Dunno when cuz I got tabletop games at nights and work during days, and other RPs, but after a few days I should have everything hashed out.^^
Sketti would have thought the others gave a good reckoning of themselves in this fight, but unfortunately (for the enemy perhaps) the Slayer had gone to the forefront of the fighting. So close that many of the Norscans had leaped over the walls of the ship and completely passed him. Before hand, the ones that had seen him as he approached were smote by pistol shots that cracked in the air, smoke mixing with the spray of the sea and the spurts of blood.

A few turned and saw the burly, albeit short killing machine that was splitting open their comrades from behind. "Ignore me, will ye?" he growled. To the onlooker, the Slayer's tall crest would look very much like a shark fin amid churning waves of Norscan bodies as they attempted to overwhelm him. His metal appendage swung too and fro, so thick was the crowd about him that every swing broke bone and sent Norscan's crying out in annoyance and pain.

Their fury was not to be denied however, many blows landing on Sketti's tough body. It was all he could do to keep fighting, his arm serving as a shield for much of the brawl. His Axe tore through legs and cut up stomachs, and with one last desperate attempt he launched himself at the last remaining raiders, using his tough, heavy body as a projectile and bowling them over, beating two of their heads in with his metal arm. Their skulls popping open like split melons.

A huge gash could be seen on his forehead as he stood up, a large cut crossed his burly stomach, and various smaller cuts covered him. Even a bit of his Mohawk was shorn. Aside from that, his bruises and blood matched well with his Khazalid tattoos and made him seem that much more crazed and menacing to those around him. He wheezed. "Who's next, eh? You're lucky I didn't have my explosives ye blasted Chaos Spawn!" He shook his remaining fist at the rest of the Norscan's brawling.
Reminder that we do have a discord for those who have not yet joined. It's a quick and easy way to talk to Musa or myself :D
@gcold Informing you now that I will be gone this Wednesday until Monday morning. I'm flying out for a business conference.

Good luck foxee fox! Be safe

I should get to working on my character soon, friends. Sorry for the delay
A genlock was hurled into the clearing of the forest, hitting one of the Genlocks that attempted to close in on Feri and sending them both crashing to the ground. Following them from the tree line was a massive Mabari Warhound, pouncing and slamming into the two Dwarkspawn, massive paws pressing them to the ground as the dog rend and tore with his great maw.

One of the Hurlocks turned, his head getting cloven in two by a notched Bastard sword, before his fidgeting body was kicked to the ground by a powerful boot. From where the Hurlock had been stood a tall, strong fereldan youth with iron eyes and the scars of war. He regarded Feri for a moment, only long enough to give her a nod, before engaging a Genlock, sword leading. A few brutal moments later, the Genlock was slain.

The few Darkspawn that were between this soldier and his Mabari were easy pickings for Feri, and once the battle was over she had merely received a minor cut at the midriff. The soldier was covered in enough blood for his injuries to be very well hidden, and the Mabari was...well it was safe to say he wore his prey/food more than having eaten any of it.

Rannon tore his sword out of a Genlock corpse, favoring one leg by the looks of things as he wiped his face with his hands. His and his Mabari's entrance had been brutal and swift, and with Feri's quick blades they'd ended it even more swiftly with the darkspawn too surprised to react. But despite his gruff look and bloodied appearance, his words were underwhelming.

"Hey," he said breathlessly, slumping down and holding himself up by his sword, using it like a walking stick. The Mabari trotted over and looked at Feri curiously, tall enough to be eye to eye with her. "You alright?"
Virgil eyed the newcomer casually, giving her a nod as smoke from his pipe lazily wafted into the air. Kayden blinked, surprised to see a new recruit show up so soon after their potential employer they might as well have bumped shoulders. He couldn't help but grin though, with this short but very likely competent woman speaking in such an upfront manner. He already believed that she was used to Mercenary work.

"I think we can spare the guard some trouble today," Kayden told her, gesturing her to take a seat. He ordered another pint for the newcomer. It was a stout Banian Ale. "Now, did you pop in here because you're looking for some work, or was it to get a ticket into the city?" he asked her, his voice confident and blunt as if he was talking to a new recruit in the military. The Captain was young and perhaps dashing to some, but there was a wisdom behind his measuring gaze, and he looked like he had more than a few scratches from previous engagements.
