Arab voters were already voting against Kamala because of the Biden administration's Israel policy. Bill Clinton didn't help, but it was already showing in the polls at that point.

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

I'd think Red and Gold. Even without seeing Zverda's banner, that's what was in my head.
Despite his weariness, wounds, and their predicament, Markus couldn't help but smile. He admitted he wasn't in his best condition, but it wasn't him that had taken the full-on hit. Yet she was trying to reassure him about his sword. It was true he felt a sense of loss with it gone, but he doubted they could get it back. If they were to get out of here...if there even was a way out of here, they would probably need to fight through those same Orcs again.

"Don't be," he said, referring to her apologizing. "I would have done the same thing." He sighed as he said it. It was partly why he'd been mad at the time, because he almost blamed himself for not seeing her attack coming. He knew he wouldn't have left her to fight off an Orc unarmed as he crawled away. He supposed he proved that earlier, as well.

"It didn't look like you were going to make it without help. And I know I wouldn't, either. I think if we're going to survive this, it'll be together or not at all." she continued. It caused him to give chuckle, which hurt more than he cared to admit. Perhaps it was the fact that they had just survived overwhelming odds, but he felt a bit of optimism. "I think we've been in this together since we've met," he thought aloud. "But you're right."

He was frightened, he had to admit. Any sane person would be. But there was a daring curiosity there as well, something that at least gave him somewhat of a lifted spirit. He suspected she might be feeling something similar, on both counts. Markus reached down and grabbed her hand gently to hold it. It was all he could do, weary and resting against the wall with his legs still too tired to move effectively, even if her head wasn't resting on one.

"We'll get through this, Valerie." Markus promised her, finally looking away from the darkness and down at his companion, giving her hand a squeeze. There was a surety in his eyes, if they could be seen by the firelight. "We just..." he felt his breath harder to come by. He truly was getting tired. "We just need to rest now."

He placed his other hand on her abdomen gently, over the jacket that was tied about it. "This will scar," he told her. He should know. He had a sword run through him near the same spot before. Not to mention the various cuts across his body. He'd been lucky so many times before. What were the chances he'd survived this as well? "And tomorrow, probably the next few weeks even, you'll ache like hell. At least without a means to heal it. But as long as you don't move too much, it'll heal just fine."

I think I have a monopoly on my characters making those.

Same tbh.
@Big DreadI will join
When she called Loghain a War Hero, a very dangerous look entered Rannon's face. It was good his back was turned to her. He closed his eyes, and breathed. "Don't call him that," he told her, finally tying his belt up. He realized she might think he was mad at her, and he let out a sigh. "Sorry," he said. "But Loghain is no longer what he was, if he ever even was what the stories told." Well, of course he had to have been noble at one point. The Hero of the River Dane wouldn't be called as such without witnesses.

Rannon turned to Feri, though he looked mainly at Gideon to hide his (possible) look of simmering anger, for he tried to keep it just below the surface. He did noticeably clench his large fist though. "The battle was going well, or...as planned at least. There were so many Darkspawn pouring out of the forest, but we were holding the lines. I fought for hours in that hell hole, beside Grey Wardens and even our King."

He could see it all clearly now. "But when the beacon had been lit to signal for Loghain and his soldiers to enter and flank the enemy, he never came. I saw him on the hill. He watched, and then fled. I saw that bastard leave." Now the rage was evident, if not from his look then the sheer hatred in his voice. Rannon was not one to get angry. He was someone who spoke bluntly and gave his two cents when needed, but he'd never had someone to truly do something so heinous, and then Rannon was too far away to do anything about it. He took a deep breath, and cleared his throat.

"Feri," he said after he'd calmed down. His voice was strong and confident once more. "I'll go to Redcliffe. But before this war is over, I'll kill him. If you don't want to follow me into that, I don't blame you."

@ZverdaHope you're ok. We understand if you're sick.
Calanon did not mind Rayadell's curiosity. To him it was no more odd than a deer or a wolf that would stop and gaze at him curiously in the forest. He'd always thought it endearing when a beast would stop and do that. Seeing it in a girl was different, but not unwelcome. The glow of the firelight emanated and danced off Calanons's face and skin, just as the heat did. He held his hands up to warm them, and glanced Rayadell's way to see if she too was enjoying the fire.

He was further warmed by the declaration there was a tree spirit here, and a full blown smile bloomed upon his face. "I've not seen one in some time." He noted aloud. It brought him memories of the sacred glades he would tarry at between his Ranger expeditions. Brogach stopped chewing grass to lift his great head and acknowledge the spirit, as if they were old friends. Calanon gave a chuckle, and turned his eyes to look back into the flame.

That is, until Rayadell asked her question. He looked very young when he gazed at her, as if he still held some of his innocence that the curse had not yet taken away. He hesitated for many moments, before methodically unwrapped the cloth around his left arm. He unwound it to reveal what looked to be charred skin in an odd shape. It was unnatural, and unnerved whomever looked upon it.

"I don't know," he said finally, staring at his arm. His eyes were hidden by the Elf's thick hair. "Or, I do not know how the Carishes found me. But I am here to relieve myself of this curse." He told her. "It grows daily, and expands more rapidly if I harbor anger... or hate."
Will post on the morrow!
@rush99999Remembered what just now? I'm just letting you know here to be a pal, rather than having Kayden call Hobnob crazy in the IC. Which is what I was going to do (plus remember I reward for realistic non-meta writing), but I decided to give you a chance to edit if you really wanted to, to save you from that.
@rush99999While you are correct with your assumption, Vampires are quite rare, and their capabilities/attributes are often exaggerated with legend/rumor, so Hobnob being sure it's a Vampire is odd. It could also easily be a sorcerer of great power, or a warlock, or a demon possessed man. Just letting you know that our Lore knowledge OOC doesn't necessarily equate to our knowledge IC. Just letting you know if you wanted to Edit Hobnob's surety.
