Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

@Ink BloodPlease reread the character sheet to put appropriate wording. I make mistakes a fair bit too, which is why rereading is key.

Gaderon stands at 5’11” with a lithe frame but solid frame.

Gaderon is a headstrong person confident, bordering on arrogant, in his own abilities.

Just a few examples with commas and word choices. But it's ok, just reread and edit and you'll be good.

Also, while the premise is fine, destroying a nest of Vampires is near impossible. Vampires are really powerful foes, though you could have slain one with the help of your Uncle. Or by yourself if you are really, really good.
The Soldier

Meldyr allowed his eyes to flicker to his left just for a moment at the commotion, but otherwise kept his gaze firmly upon the Crow. So this man was known among the family? Actually, now that he thought of it, he'd heard of a figure called the Crow. Perhaps they had never met simply because of this inevitability of an encounter such as this one, with sword and gun. Meldyr did not appreciate shady characters in association with the family he was sworn to protect.

Their words did seem to alleviate his concerns somewhat, and as Nalia spoke he relaxed, putting the hammer of his pistol back to its original position. Still, he stood between Nalia, as well as the other family members, and the Crow. He holstered his pistol, but kept the military sidesword out and at the ready, confident he could bring it to bear no matter how skilled this Crow was.

Otto's declaration that he would not adhere to the Head of the House's request was far too bold. It didn't cause Meldyr to lower his guard, but he was surprised at how foolish the old man was, to make himself such an enemy of Nalia. "Olaf, Steg, Jory," Meldyr called, and the men hustled over and gave salutes, at his request. "Take Otto and Juniper to their Quarters, and keep them there. Particularly the good doctor. We'll be by shortly to relieve you."

The soldiers nodded, and approached Otto. They would manhandle him if need be.
@DurandalThat sucks, dude.
@The Fated FallenActually, I did tell them Darkslayer was a class, no worries. We hashed out the fine details ourselves via PM.

@Ink BloodI shall review the character after I sleep!
@Leos KlienWish that was in my backstory, but alas D:
Meldyr post coming tomorrow~!
While still looking very much like a fighting man, Rannon looked much less a soldier at the moment, and more a young man having a fine time. His strong, bare arms were covered in scars and illuminated by the firelight, but he looked almost innocent as he gazed into the pot and swirled it about to make sure it would stay heated.

His iron eyes switched to Feri, and he matched her grin with one of his own that showed his teeth. As she twirled her daggers and explained, his grin faded and he listened with the intensity of a hound on the hunt. He was indeed impressed at how easily she twirled the knives. If there was one thing he respected, it was skill. Gideon simply panted, looking between Rannon, Feri, and the food in intervals. He seemed to quite enjoy Feri's scratches, liking his lips lightly as dogs often did when they felt very nice.

"Swords, even big ones are the same in some ways," he told her, looking back into the pot. The food was just ready, he saw. "You always need to know where to step. Footwork is just as important as blade work. Reach is a big advantage, true..." he continued, pouring some of the meaty stew into a two bowls. "But if I don't know how to use it, someone like you with knives might get through my armor and gut me. You only need a few inches of steel in the right spot to kill someone."

He scooted over to her, and handed her a heated bowl with stew, steam billowing out of it. He set his own soup down, and pulled out a long Knife from his boot. "I have this just in case. Only when I need it, though, maybe to bypass armor. I can't handle one of these like you," he chuckled, and slipped it back into its small, makeshift sheathe. He crossed his long legs and sat just beside her, with Gideon squished between them. He spooned some of the soup in his mouth, and found he couldn't stop. A big body required quite a bit of food, after all.

Suddenly, he gave a burp. It sounded like a rumble out of his throat, and he realized at once he wasn't around his friends who never really cared. He patted his chest with his fist, and grinned sheepishly. "Sorry," he breathed.
