Styx made his way down a tree, spotting something that caught his eye. Styx was in his scout form, less lethal, but still deadly despite the size. He landed on the ground with a thud and picked up what he had seen, a silver coin. He studied it curiously and bit into it softly, leaving a nibble mark. Styx then stashed it into a bag he was carrying with him, it was made of leather and with a pattern of crimson flowers on it. He then hoisted it over his head and wandered around the forest, his current location. He spotted a tavern within an hour of traveling around the forest, and so, he set his belongings down and stalked the people inside, he was being cautious.
Vessels, it's in their name of what they are, vessels of power. Each one is unique and special on its own. For example; a deceased vessel may come back as a Corrupted Vessel, one controlled by madness and insanity. The way to tell which realm the Vessel resides from is in their form and specialties. An example of this is a crystallized Vessel, they glow purple where their heart lays in the dark and can fire beams of pure energy from their crystal formation upon their body. Vessels are unique and there's theories of which where they came from, but the most common and most factual is when there was a war between five gods.
One god, one of Void, who created the first vessel to do his work of destroying the other's realms. However, the other gods noticed his creation and made their own.
The second to create a vessel was a god, one of light. The light bestowed a curse upon the vessel for when it perished, it would fall under the control of the light. When the light god himself slayed the Vessel, it fell under his control and used it to attack the Void in return, making them sworn enemies.
The crystal god decided to manufacture his first as a mechanical being, but beared a crystal heart to defend itself and think on its own. The crystal god doesn't manufacture the vessels often, for a crystal heart it is said to contain great power, one that boosts agility, strength, and even ability use.
Then, there was the last, the god of Nightmares. The god of Nightmares named his the Fallen Vessels, and is by far the most feared by the other three gods. The common weapon of which they bear is sharpened weaponry of all sorts. But, the Nightmare god's vessels enjoy toying with their prey, sending images and dreams of destruction into their foes mind as their target sleeps. The dreams are said to tamper with their confidence and possibly traumatize the dreamer.
The gods fought, and all five of them fell, leaving the Vessels behind hoping one day one will be reborn.

Weapons: Retractable claws, Fangs.
Backstory: Styx was created by the Nightmare god himself, the first to be created to be exact. When he was formed, he was taught one, and one thing only, destruction. Styx was the feared fighter amongst the ranks of Vessels which came along years after him, and the only one with the Nightmare King's claws. The claws are so strong, when a foe is cut by them, the bearer gains an ounce of soul back, ensuring the bearer will not fall easily. He fought in the great war of the gods, leading his brothers and sisters to war against the opposing gods and forces of vessels. They fought for centuries with barely any breaks between wars. There were endless vessels it seemed and the bloodshed never stopped. Once they gained control of the major cities from the light, void, and crystal god, it seemed victory was near. But, all that changed when the gods formed an idea of how to settle this, it would take place in God's Court. Styx was forced to watch the battle in the God's Court, a region wide arena where the gods could battle without consequences. All vessels cheered on their own god, Styx himself was witnessing the battle and cheering on the Nightmare god. When the vessels were allowed to join in on the chaos, Styx jumped down first and let out a screech of anger and determination so strong, it shook the stands of where vessels sat. The rest of the opposing vessels joined in and battled for hours, without realizing the gods were decaying from the lack of energy. Styx noticed first the gods were gone, he dropped a young vessel, sparing him and closed his eyes amongst the bloodshed, attempting to sense his creator. There was no detection. The vessels slowly stopped and did the same. Realizing they were lost without a god, many destroyed their own shell, setting them free and into their afterlife promised to them. But Styx and a few hundred others from each god remained intact hoping one day the gods would return to them. But Styx, Styx was the only one with doubt that they would ever come back, that they ascended amongst the war and found peace at last. Years turned into decades, and Styx watched the world change before him slowly. He himself felt lost without a god, but didn't give up on his spirit within his shell. He wanted to live a life, but the question was how? All he knew was chaos. Unfortunately, this led to him instinctively destroying cities, destroying travelers, even demolishing kingdoms by himself. He remains in this world without guidance, feeling forever lost. Will he one day destroy his shell as well? Or would he meet someone or something that could spark something in him? Only time will tell for Styx.
Howdy there folks! I'm Styx, and I'll be yapping about myself now! I live in the countryside with 6 dogs, 1 cat, and a dream. I often find myself roleplaying, doodling some characters, or even making small songs or instrumentals! I have gone through a lot of things so far in life, good and bad, I wish nothing bad upon ANYONE. This is going to be fun meeting you guys, I'm a social person and cannot stand isolation...or being alone, I hate the feeling. I'd say I'm a nice person, but that's for you guys to decide! I can't tell you I'm a nice person and expect you to believe it, that'd be silly. Anyways, I love to make new buddies on..well, everything I go on. Let me assure you, I can be real silly sometimes...sometimes it's a curse, other times it's comedic! Well, I'm gonna keep this short, if you would like to know more or even chit chat with me, don't be afraid to open my messages, I'll respond with joy, and that's a fact!
