Backstory: Aryal was part of the heroic team who stopped the cult of Tiamet in their tracks and even killed the god itself. She is well-known by all, especially in the local museum since she sold entire dragon skeletons to them that she killed, skinned, and created leather and food from them. When she opened the guild she met her husband Silver Night and ended up marrying with 3 beautiful children. Now she resides in the hall teaching her children to take over her responsibilities and start enjoying her much-needed retirement. She is in charge of all job postings all over the land.

Backstory: He was a vagabon traveling from place to place seeing all the world has to offer. He would take jobs everywhere he went until he was no longer needed then travel on his way. One job he was asked to join a hunting party of manticores. When he arrived he ran into the most beautiful ranger he had ever met, his now wife Aryal. He helped open and run the tavern, currently working alongside his youngest running the Inn and Bar half of the guild hall.

Backstory: The eldest of the children worshiped his aunt the Barbarian. He knew when he grew up that was where his life would lead him. When he turned 13 he began training his skills in fighting, bodybuilding, weight lifting, and everything else in between. When he is not traveling with his adventuring party of friends, he is always found training anyone who wants to practice or just go a few rounds.

Backstory: He was the creative of his family. The art of music always spoke more to him than anyone else. He learned each instrument from the traveling bards who would frequent the tavern. He still plays and performs in the bar when he is not bartending along side his father.

Appearance: Elerra's skin was the faintest hint of blue, mixed with a peachy skin tone. She had red eyes, but her sclera was white, and her ears were pointed. It was easy to tell that she was half drow, half human. She stood at 5 feet and 9 inches, and had black hair that seemed tousled and unkempt on one side of her head, and straight and well kept on the other.





Backstory: Elerra was born to a Noble Drow family, though her status as a half-drow often caused others to mock and berate her. She had always had a thirst for knowledge, studying the arcane closely, and even adventuring deep into forgotten ruins. On such a trip, she happened upon ancient writing that took her days to decipher. When she finally had, she realized she had discovered a long forgotten god. One more terrifying and ancient than could be described. As it showed itself to her in a vision, her mind felt as though it was being scrambled, even hearing the being speak. She was granted power by it, in exchange, her new acquired madness in this world would slowly allow him to restore his former power. She now struggles against this madness, desperately clinging to what sanity she has left. She continues delving into forgotten areas to learn more of the arcane, though every day, she feels her clarity slip, bit by bit. Secretly, she is searching for a way to win back her sanity before she has none left.

Appearance: 5'0" sharp, wearing a tattered green shirt under a brown cloth vest and pants. His face has a few markings on it, likely from his travels. He has ruffled dark gray hair that covers his eyes and a singular white streak runs through it. He has a sizeable bag on his back, packed with his weapons and gear, it does seem a bit heavy, but he somehow carries it with ease.

Backstory: Mars came from a small, not well known village, wherein he would mostly spend his time at the various religious areas in the village, tending to whatever he needed. In his free time, he would visit his family who lived in the center of the village. One day, when he was 12, he would begin training in combat, seeing as it was natural to train at a young age. He chose to practice using a Halberd, which he became moderately skilled at even though it was a lot bigger than he was. After practicing for about 2 years, he realized he wasn't really doing much around the village anymore, so he decided to leave the village for the first time, exploring around the land, he would soon encounter a certain haven a few months later.

Appearance:
Chatter has the appearance of a Crow, he is adorned in black feathers, has a long, curved black beak and eyes like abyssal pearls. He wears a blue shawl which is tattered and torn in places. Underneath he wears a soft cloth tunic with many leather straps holding together his many bags and weapons.
Backstory:
Chatter was born in the heart of the Whispering Woods—a dense, ancient forest where shadows danced among gnarled trees. Kenkus, known for their mimicry and affinity for secrets, thrived here. Chatter’s earliest memories were of echoing bird calls and the rustling of leaves.

As a young Kenku, Chatter discovered their unique gift: the ability to mimic any sound they heard. They imitated the songs of warblers, the creaking of branches, and even the hushed conversations of passing travelers. But it was the whispers—the secrets shared under moonlight—that fascinated them most.

Chatter’s mentor, an old ranger named Talon, recognized their potential. Under Talon’s guidance, Chatter learned to blend into the forest seamlessly. They wore a tattered blue shawl—the color of twilight—and moved silently, leaving no trace. Their bow, carved from a sacred yew tree, hummed with magic as they nocked arrows feathered with azure plumes.

After leaving the safety of the forest, Chatter entered the nearby town and was soon granted with cacophony of voices, all singular and different and all melodious to his ear. He learned all he could by visiting the local tavern but accidently overhead a plot of thievery. He approached the town guard and braced himself. Using a hundred voices he explained how he heard the story of thievery and perfectly recreated the men talking about it.

He left the town shortly after, fearing retaliation from the men and slowly has travelled the land, far and wide hoping to find something that is missing from himself.

Racial skills
Cursed by a forgotten god, they lost their wings and voices. Now, they mimic sounds and speech they hear, unable to produce their own.
This also isn't limited to sounds. Kenku can duplicate any document, any handwriting they’ve seen. In a world of contracts and decrees, this ability opens doors—sometimes literally.

Name: High Priestess Morgana Thornveil

Gear: Morgana is heavily armoured underneath the religious garb of her order. Dark robes tattered at the ends are tied together with a belt and a hood reaches up and covers the back of her head. A silver mask hides her visage with only her eyes being visible. On her head a silver crown of thorns secures her hood to her head. Her armour is old, but kept in good condition. It has etchings all over of various symbols from her order and while clean, still has some staining of blood from the numerous battles she has had over the years.
Weapons: Her sword "Oathkeeper" is made from black steel and is considered a masterpiece by her orders smiths. The blade is long and straight, forged from high-quality steel and polished to a sinister gleam. It tapers to a finely pointed tip, perfect for piercing through the defenses of her enemies with deadly precision. The blade's double edges are razor-sharp, reflecting the meticulous care and craftsmanship that went into its creation. Along the length of the blade are similar etchings that are found on her armour.

She also carries a large kite shield made of the same steel as her sword. It features numerous etchings along it from her religious order and features a small spike jutting out forward near the bottom half of the shield.
Appearance: Morgana stands at 5 foot 10 and rarely shows her face, not due to any religious oath, but due to her scarring. Scars crisscross her face, each one a testament to the countless battles she has fought and survived. A deep, jagged scar runs diagonally from her left temple to her right jawline, the result of a near-fatal blow she received in a previous battle. Her skin is pale, almost ghostly, a stark contrast to the dark and elaborate armor she wears. Her hair is a dark black and despite her scars one could see that before her life as High Priestess she was once perhaps a striking beauty, with high cheekbones and a strong jawline.

Her eyes are perhaps her most striking feature, especially being that they are the only things most people see of her other than her armour. They are a piercing shade of icy blue, with harsh lines and bags under her eyes that suggest many days of sleepless nights.
Backstory: Lady Morgana Thornveil was once a noblewoman in a distant, war-torn kingdom. Born into a family of devout crusaders, she was trained from a young age in the arts of combat and religious doctrines. Her family served a fanatical religious sect known as the Order of the Darkened Light, which believed that only through constant struggle and suffering in the efforts to protect the weak and impaired could the soul be purified.

At a young age, Morgana experienced a vision during a fierce battle, where a spectral figure revealed to her methods during the battle which would result in a major victory. Of course, these tactics led to exactly what the figure had told her, and due to being classified as a 'Seer' by the Order she was quickly fast tracked to being a High Priestess of war.

Over the years she gained a reputation as a ruthless and great tactician, as well as a nightmare on the battlefield. Her mercy and kindness have also been remarked upon by the few with the courage to speak about it, which has led to her being something of a controversial figure in her home kingdom.

A recent vision gave her a call to arms to leave her home and go travelling, just as she did on her pilgrimage many years ago. This call has led her back to the only place she could think of travelling to, an old friend named Aryal and her adventurers haven.

Personality:Assallya Kressair is a charlatan, con-artist, dancer, courtesan, and really whatever role she can think of that gets her by. She is exceedingly good at lying and feigning emotion. Generally, there are two ways to look at any good deed. One could perform such an act out of honest good will but others look upon it as an investment by establishing a bond that can be exploited at a later date. Assallya is of the latter. She is a coward, a braggart and a bully but what she isn't is needlessly cruel nor traitorous. She would not betray her fellows, not unless the reward involved a sum large enough to alter her life substantially. After all, What use is scoring a meager gem or two in return for a half dozen angry and resourceful adventurers eager to tan your hide?

She'd probably be the first to flee when things went sour and most likely wouldn't last more than a moment before capitulating to torture (particularly if they threaten to mar her appearance) but she's also the type to plan ahead in case she is captured to ensure she wouldn't have any information to divulge. After all, if she betrays all her allies who is left to perform a rescue?

She also has something of a phobia of the undead which are largely immune to her magical abilities. She, also, thanks to her upbringing and most unlike other elves, despises all things related to nature.

Background/History: Assallya Kressair was born in the autumn in a small village on the outskirts of Evereska. At the young age of 26 (aprox. 11 or 12 in human years) Zhentish slavers attacked and killed her entire village except for those taken as slaves. Assallya, her sister Saeliah, and several others were transported far across Faerun in order to avoid the elven wrath sure to follow. In the city of Calimshan Assallya and Saeliah were separated when Assallya was purchased be Pasha Alkiel. Head of a powerful group of rogues, Alkiel purchased her as a dancer and concubine for both personal use and for information gathering and blackmail. She then served in Alkiel's bedchamber for the next eight years while being trained in dance, seduction and other roguish arts in order to perform her duties.

She was treated as an object and was given to allies and employees of the Pasha who performed exceptional services. Soon enough, she learned about the many different types of power and discovered that even as a slave she was far from powerless. Succeeding in seducing one of the Pasha's magicians she bid him teach her magic. At first he balked until Assallya cast for him the only thing her father had taught her at that young age, a cantrip. A small thing, it changed the colour of his fingernails, but it was magic none the less. He agreed then, for he was a lonely uncomely man who rarely received a woman to his bed. However, he placed conditions on his tutorial; refusing to train her in combative magics and warning her that should he ever target him with her spells it would mean her death. She surprised all of them by inventing an inferior version of the invisibility spell which allowed her to sneak away from the Pasha's clutches and return undetected. In this way, by filching jewels and prostituting herself she built up savings with a money lender.

It was with the aide of the Pasha's son that she succeeded in poisoning the Pasha, planning on becoming a partner to the successor instead of a slave. With her manipulative mind behind him to advise his passionate power they were sure to bring their competitors to their knees. What she was not expecting was the Pasha's extended family to hire a necromancer to speak with their departed kinsman. He quickly named his murderer and Assallya regretted bragging as he died.

She ran, the Pasha's son giving her a few moments to escape, fearing that she would claim his involvement which would lead to his family asking him uncomfortable questions. The next few months she moved slowly north, the sands left behind her and the lands becoming more lush and green.

• Assallya's goddess, Sharess, will not accept her. As a result, if killed, she will not be able to be raised or resurrected after 1d10 days.
• Assallya's sister, Saeliah, is now a druid somewhere. I never really anticipate them ever meeting again.
• There is a bounty on Assallya's head in Calimshan. It is highly unlikely anyone would chase her this far north.
• Assallya wears a lot of jewelry. However, most with a critical eye will note that most of the gems are semi-precious. They're still worth quite a bit but not a noble's ransom.

Vessels, it's in their name of what they are, vessels of power. Each one is unique and special on its own. For example; a deceased vessel may come back as a Corrupted Vessel, one controlled by madness and insanity. The way to tell which realm the Vessel resides from is in their form and specialties.
An example of this is a crystallized Vessel, they glow purple where their heart lays in the dark and can fire beams of pure energy from their crystal formation upon their body.
Vessels are unique and there's theories of which where they came from, but the most common and most factual is when there was a war between five gods.

One god, one of Void, who created the first vessel to do his work of destroying the other's realms. However, the other gods noticed his creation and made their own.

The second to create a vessel was a god, one of light. The light bestowed a curse upon the vessel for when it perished, it would fall under the control of the light. When the light god himself slayed the Vessel, it fell under his control and used it to attack the Void in return, making them sworn enemies.

The crystal god decided to manufacture his first as a mechanical being, but beared a crystal heart to defend itself and think on its own. The crystal god doesn't manufacture the vessels often, for a crystal heart it is said to contain great power, one that boosts agility, strength, and even ability use.

Then, there was the last, the god of Nightmares. The god of Nightmares named his the Fallen Vessels, and is by far the most feared by the other three gods. The common weapon of which they bear is sharpened weaponry of all sorts. But, the Nightmare god's vessels enjoy toying with their prey, sending images and dreams of destruction into their foes mind as their target sleeps. The dreams are said to tamper with their confidence and possibly traumatize the dreamer.

The gods fought, and all five of them fell, leaving the Vessels behind hoping one day one will be reborn.
