Almost done with my character (I might've gone a wee overboard with it). Question! Each starting character has 25 points we can freely distribute, right? So about the starting stat you put in the CS, where every stat has 5. Do we add the 25 to those 5s, or is that already an example of a starting stat?

Like, for a new character, is this valid?

Speed 10
Strength 8
Endurance 10
Mana 12

Or is this?

Hi, just wondering. If we want to make a magic-capable character, can we just make up the spells that they have? Is there any limit to that?

Also, about the race. I'm assuming it's D&D-based, or do you have a different list?

Hunger Games RP with Randomly Generated Events, just trust me on this one.

An RP where we won't spend weeks figuring out what our chars are doing? Count. Me. In.

@Zelosse @Kalleth @liferusher Really shouldda posted this earlier but it keeps slipping off my mind (and the last time I remember to do it, the forum was down, natch). January has been wildly busy for me, and I have finals this week, and I start internship next month. I can maybe sneak an hour a week or so here but howweee, I think there are too many things going on and too many characters to keep track of and too many posts I have to catch up on.

So, y'all, it's been fun, but I'm officially taking a hiatus off this RP. Take my name off the active player list. Let me wallow in the disgrace of inactivity. I might be back later next month, when I have enough time to find out what's going on. Cheers!

Lyra was in cloudcuckoland during the trip downtown, so I took the liberty to get them there right away. You can have the two converse during the trip if you like.

Also I have noooo ideaa what the cuisine in this place is like. It doesn't help that 90% of the meals I have in real life, I don't know how to say them in English. How do English speak food?

Time: 12.30~13.00

The three of them having reached an agreement, Lyra led them down the hill of the Academy and into the tram that would take them to town. She wasn't sure what to make of Freya, or Diana. Freya seemed like a bright, cheerful sort of girl. She sort of reminded Lyra of Vera. Maybe it was because they were both light elemental. Wait was Freya a light elemental? She was making sparks with her hand earlier. It could be fire, but it didn't feel like it. Didn't have the heat. It was more like the flash from Zeke's camera.

How was Zeke doing? He'd probably loved to take a picture of those dancing fireworks.

Diana was all fire and fight, but she seemed nice. Fire elemental? There's nothing to prove that yet, but Lyra had the feeling she was. She and Freya would probably be good roomates. Fire and light. Like the sun up there, beating down over the city.

Lyra blinked. They were already leaving the tram station, the city was waited in front of them. She hadn't said much throughout the journey, lost in her own thoughts, but that's fine. Diana and Freya were probably getting to know each other. They needed to know more about each other than about her.

The streets were quiet, with only a few people about. The many streetside shops were open and welcoming, though. She turned to Freya and said, "Welcome to the city!"

Where were they going again? Lunch? That's right. "If we're going for lunch. There's the sushi place down that street. Or there's a noodle place down there. And, uhh, I heard there's someone selling beef stew near the park, but I haven't tried it yet." She looked quizzically at the two. "Or maybe you're looking for something else?"

Haha! I am finally done with the hell homework it's really more like it's 3/4 but I don't have the time and energy to finish it so I'm ditching it but whatever. Did you hear it's almost year-end break?

"Hi!" Lyra said instinctively. The girl who just came looked familiar. With that strong build and that fire in her eyes, Lyra was sure she must have seen her in gym class, at least. One of those athletic girls who can do laps without breaking a sweat. And then the girl said her name, and Lyra's memory lit up.

Of course, Diana. The one with the German last me, which Lyra remembered particularly because she couldn't ever figure out how it's spelled. "I'm Lyra! We had gym class together." She nodded in Freya's direction. "That's Freya, she's new. We're, uhh," What was it again? Oh yeah, "we're just going downtown for lunch." She glanced at the new girl. So they're roommates? Maybe they'd like to get to know each other a bit? Should she ask her to come, or should Freya do it? Hmmmm
