Probably not if it applies to people.

From what I can gather, he can only turn objects into explosives.
Probably not if it applies to people.

Not as in not overpowered or not as in it's not acceptable?
As for turning things explosive, it depends on how far it can go.

As in he can literally turn anything into an explosive, ranging from a coin to a doorknob. The limits are that he can only set one object to explode and that it can only be detonated if someone is touching it.
Name: Tenkuuji Takeru

Universe: Kamen Rider Ghost

Appearance: imgur.com/a/jULEi

Personality: He's actually a pretty nice dude, all things considered. He gets pretty timid and scared. However, this changes when people need saving. He gets angered when people don't value their own lives or even the lives of others, having died once and appreciating the values of life.

Abilities: As the name implies, Takeru is a ghost. Or at least, he WOULD have been. His alliance with Charmeine ended up giving him a temporary human form, delaying his 99-day countdown before he is forced to go to the afterlife, and as such, removes most of his ghostly powers such as intangibility and indestructibility.

What it doesn't remove, however, is his ability to become Kamen Rider Ghost. This is a basic form for him to use for fighting, using a large sword called the Gan Gan Saber to help him. However, he can also call the spirits of heroes to aid him. Musashi gives him two swords to fight with, Edison gives his guns electrical powers, Robin Hood makes his gun an arrow, and Newton gives him gloves with the power of gravity.

Alliance: Team Charmeine

Other: 12 days into his first 99-day countdown, sometime after his meeting with Shinnosuke.

And question for a secondary character. Would being able to turn things into explosives be overpowered?
I'm gonna put in some interest, but wait around a little. I have a character or two in mind...
"Pleasure to meet all of you." The king smiled. It seemed like he got a really good service with this Princess Protection Program.

"So... Uh... What was with that 'wasted' thing?" Nicholas presumed that either the kingdom had GTA Online or pot brownies.

"Oh..." The king sighed.

"Dad, please can we not talk about this to the escort?" Odette asked. Nicholas held up his hand.

"I-it's okay. I could guess..." Nicholas looked to the castle. "Negotiations didn't go well?" He asked.

"... You could say that, yes..." The king said. Nicholas glanced over... Something wasn't right... There seems to be more than meets the eye with this situation.

And yet, he can't help but find it familiar...
And with that, the first mission begins!
"Ever hear of inflation?" Mr. Gold gave a deadpan expression when asked why he shouldn't just make more money. He then cleared his throat. "But in all seriousness, money is just more of an easier transaction than... say... taking back your world." He said.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Nicholas asked.

"Do you think it was by chance that your little blue planet was able to give life? Moonchild had no such skill in making a capable universe, let alone a multiverse. I had to give him something to kickstart the creation of Earth. I loaned him that and told him to pay me back. If I don't get paid in money, I'll just simply repossess the Earth." Mr. Gold said.

"Well, why don't you? You seem to be a good dude and all..." Nicholas said.

"Here's the thing... Moonchild sees you all as special little snowflakes... I on the other hand see nothing but good... cheap... labour." Mr. Gold sneered, showing that his teeth was made of gold. He then walked down to Samuel. "I do apologize for Moonchild's rather deceptive means of recruiting you lot. If it helps in any matter, you will be all returned to the moment you hit the send button. It'll be as if you were never gone... Provided things work out well." Mr. Gold said.

"Up until today, all of this was some sort of fiction to me. A video game, a TV show, an anime, a manga, or a book, it didn't matter"

"Yeah... but that's what makes this so cool! Ever wanted to jump into a game you always loved? Or talk with a character who was your favorite? This... This is the ultimate job..." Nicholas said. And then Rin slapped Samuel.

"Ooooh, she's a feisty one!" Mr. Gold said. Nicholas kind of cracked a smile.

"Remind me not to pick a fight with her..." Nicholas muttered. He then looked to the portal. "Well, it's up to you." He said to Sam. Nicholas then jumped into the portal along with some of the others.

A white portal opened in front of an extravagant castle. Particularly, a white stone bridge. The portal was on the ground and the people who entered were spat out of it, went into the air for a moment before falling onto the ground. As the people began to come out of the portal, they heard a loud shout:

"WAAAASTED!"

"Wait, what?" Nicholas shook his head as he crashed into a tree. Just then, he saw a group of people on horses. One of them was a middle-aged man with a graying hair and beard, along with a golden crown. His wearing of robes immediately pointed Nicholas in the direction that he is the king. Riding next to him was a beautiful woman with long golden hair. Obviously the king's daughter...

Making her...

"Hey!" Nicholas shouted. The king looked up at the tree.

"What the? Who are you? What are you doing up in a tree?" The king said before chuckling.

"Um... Princess Protection Program?" Nicholas said.

"Ooh! Guards! Take him down!" The king said to his men as they went over, climbed up the tree and helped him down.

"Dad, did you seriously hire an escort? Aren't the guards enough?" The woman asked.

"Odette..." The king shushed his daughter before turning to Nicholas, who just got onto the ground. "I'm sorry, but can you keep this whole PPP thing hush hush? I don't want the princess to panic..." He asked.

"Um... Sure?" He whispered back. He then turned his head to see if anyone else was coming. "Erm... I didn't come alone. Is that okay?" He asked.

"Sure... Just escort us to our kingdom and we'll reward you there." He whispered back. Nicholas nodded.
As Jimmy grabbed the Princess Protection Program sheet, a glowing glyph of a reverse crescent moon appeared over the sheet. Soon, the paper flew out of Jimmy's hands and fell onto the floor, growing in size until it was the size of a door.

"You can do any sort of mission you want, though I best advise you tackle them as a group. As such, it should be a group decision." Mr. Gold said. Just then, another person fell out of the sky and proceeded to ask Mr. Gold some questions.

"Yeah, can you tell me what's going on?" Nicholas asked. Mr. Gold sighed.

"Very well... My name is Mr. Gold. I am the God of this realm. Your realm is ruled by someone known as the Silver God, Moonchild. There's about twenty realms, each containing a cluster of worlds and each ruled by a different God. I am the God of commerce and you are in the central hub of my world. I like to call it... Guildhall." Mr. Gold said as Nicholas looked around, seeing various people in suits of armor walking around, each being pretty unique and each picking out papers on bulletin boards hung around other buildings.

One such being was a humanoid velociraptor who went near the bulletin board that the group was at and ripped the Farmer quest from the board.

"Ah, Blue, getting hungry again? You know the tavern's always open." Mr. Gold said.

"Yreaaah, but this is free food!" Blue then slapped the paper against the wall, creating a portal while a glyph of a skeletal t-rex appeared on it. Blue then walked into the portal as it faded away and shrank back into the scrap of paper. Mr. Gold walks over to the paper and placed it back on the bulletin board.

"As you can see, anyone can just pick a mission and do it. And it doesn't even matter if the job's already taken. Different guilds can try the same job and compete for the rewards. I like that cutthroat nature of it..." Mr. Gold said. He then clapped his hands and spun around to face Samuel once again. "As for why you are here, well, to put simply, Moonchild defaulted on a loan I gave him a couple of thousand years back and rather than be a man and pay up, he has you guys paying the debt through labor. As for why you're a game character..." Mr. Gold just thought on it, then chuckled. "Of course! It makes sense now! Moonchild probably has hired you guys out and given you some fancy tools to help you. Hence why you have that magic phone, young lady." He addressed Jenny. "It's probably why you're a game character."

Nicholas looked at the portal created from the Princess Protection Program paper. "So... I guess in order to pick the quest, we have to get into the portal?" He asked.

"Correctamondo, Mondo!" Mr. Gold said.

"... I'm Nicholas." He said. Rachel then said she was Kamen Rider Fourze. "Oh sweet! I'm Knight!" He then paused. "Wow... should have went with that..." He sighed then looked at the portal. He then did a little jig. "Blue skidooed, we can too!" He then posed... and nothing happened.

"... Yeah, you're gonna have to jump into the portal. Nice try though." Mr. Gold said.
"I was promised a warrior, and I shall get a warrior. I'd be very disappointed if that Silver God gave me scabs." Mr. Gold said to Jimmy.

Nicholas, meanwhile, put the Advent Deck in his pocket. Rin asked who he is, and it'd be embarrassing if he wasn't just as hammy as her. "Erm..." The problem is, he hasn't worked on a cool speech like Rin did. "I'm... Batman? Well, not Batman, but I'm Batman if he was a knight? Erm... I have a Pokemon thingy... That I summon with Yu-Gi-Oh cards..." Nicholas put his hand to his lips. "Oh God I'm blowing it." He muttered.

The bulletin board offered various jobs ranging from simple things like farming and babysitting to some more advanced stuff like routing bandits or escort missions. Perhaps the most notable thing is that the papers offering jobs were sorted by how much the pay was. The symbol for its currency looked to be the lowercase Mu (μ) with a dash through it. A simple farming job offered 50 μs, while an escort mission offered 100 μs. Five papers stood out in particular.

Farming Request:

My crops have barely gotten plucked and the king is expecting my taxes any day now. Please help me cultivate my crops!

Reward offer: 50 μs

Merchantile Escort:

The area I'm in is... pretty dangerous. I need some people to guard me from the, ehe, bandits that might wish to rob me.

Reward offer: 100 μs

Princess Protection Program:

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: We are under the suspicion that a powerful sorcerer by the name of Rothbart is aiming to seize our kingdom, but more importantly, kidnap our princess. We need someone to protect her.

Reward offer: One item from the royal treasury

Bandits!

We can't take it anymore! Bandits from all over are attacking and raiding our town on a daily basis! We need someone to help rout them out!

Reward offer: All you can eat and drink! Our town will be forever in your debt!

ASSASSINATION

Same as usual. Don't ask why I want him dead. Just do it. Your target will be a very important figure: the Duke of Wesselton. I expect results. You will know your target like you know the other targets: a black cat under the pale moonlight will lead you to him.

Reward offer: 250 μs, plus whatever you can take from the kingdom of Wesselton.
