It was all too fast. She had gotten the command from Chromite to continue doing what she was doing in order to protect herself and those around her. She grunted, forcing her limited EM field to extend just a little further to envelop those closes to her. She couldn't get out a worded response before they made impact.

She didn't lose consciousness, per say, but there was an obvious gap between the recalled moment of impact and when she opened her eyes again to the rubble of the ship. Chromite was asking for assistance to be set down onto the ground. Moonstone and Pyrite had helped her down while Astro was too busy with checking herself for any marks in her gem. She was obviously alive, a miracle itself, but to have crashed with such a delicate gem and not have a single mark? That was either very lucky, or a glimpse into the full power of and Astrophyllite.

Astro saluted at Chromite's next command and got to work. Using her fields on her feet, she was able to walk on just about any surface on the ship. She could also attract objects a small distance away, granted that they were light enough, and began to run through the ship to pick up whatever little important odds and ends were available. The ship was sinking into the marshy waters below, and she didn't have a whole lot of time before it would eventually eat the ship up.
@KronshiI can't blame you for wanting to leave. Honestly, I'm rather envious that you've had the strength to announce your leave. After almost three years, I'm quite burned out. I'm surprised that you've made it this far without having any problems.

I hope that everything goes well for you, man.
Shawn was busy doing just about nothing. He believed he had the unit covered, and was just waiting for the bell this time around. His eyes were on the clock. Was it really that time already? Philosophy seemed to have moved so much slower, it was strange. Not a worry for him, though. He'd be returning to Dr. McCoy anyways for science after this. He just needed to run by his room and switch out a few things before he went into the classroom.

Ring ring!

Shawn smiled joyfully, shooting up out of his seat. "Nice meeting you guys." He said to both the necromancer and Bonny before he took off. He didn't have all the time in the world, but he, like everyone else, had a place to be, and he wanted to get there in comfortable time.

His walk through the halls left him relatively undisturbed, good for him. And he finally reached his room for some peace and quiet. The day wasn't over yet, but he was getting through just fine.

"Mutant kind, Kiddo! We got like four years before mutants stop popping up, and we need to stop a certain someone from making a certain something that kills off a certain some kind of people!" The man in red shouted from the window, hoping Chrys would be able to hear him.

Caldwell sighed again, looking at the man in the mask with a rather tired expression. "Please, go use the front door and talk to the professor, if this matter is urgent. Talking to me will get you nowhere." He looked back at Chrys, rather confused about this whole situation.

"How did you even get by without the professor noticing you?" He muttered to himself. Surely such a deranged man would have been a beacon to any telepath in the area. Was he immune? Caldwell hoped to run some tests and learn the extent of this man's power.

"I don't need to, my lady friend is already inside talking to him. She just didn't want us coming to the mansion." The man in red answered.

"I tried stopping him." The second voice spoke up. "That's not something one can easily do. Unless you're a woman."

Caldwell could hear the bell ringing for a class change, and looked to Chrys with that of worry. "Can you handle yourself? I don't want to keep you here all day, but I don't want you pulling any other stunts like what you did in Raven's class again, okay?"

Emma laughed haughtily, smiling ever so graciously at the young woman at her side. "Me?" She motioned to herself. "It's not about me, Heidi. Its about you, him, the team. He wants to be seen as a leader. What do you see him as?"

Then the bell rang. Students began to file into the halls to get to their next class. Emma looked at the students as they trickled through. As a private academy and refuge for mutants, the class count was fairly low, but just enough to cause a bit of a ruckus at all times.

"I'll leave you with that question, Heidi. If you need anything, you can always find me in Dr. Smith's room." She left Heidi with a soft pat on her shoulder before sauntering off to who know's where. Emma had her own matters to attend to, and it wasn't something she could do with ease. She needed the help of the professor, at least to gain access. Even with her Telepathy working strangely, she knew that he was most likely still in a conversation with that strange woman who came through earlier. For now, she'd go back to the old tactics, finding them with physical tools and no mutations.
@UnknownScarlet4I almost didnt, but I'm glad I put time aside to watch it live
@sassy1085We believe that your Pearl should either be changed to another character, a gem not already taken by the people in the RP, or maybe just focus on using only one character in this RP for the time being.
@sassy1085Sorry, I sometimes use those like bookmarks for later discussion.

Like Loony Expressed, we would like to ask that you supply a reason for an assassin-type gem being on a simple maintenance check, as well as keep Jet herself in check to not be over powered or game breaking.

Shadow Manipulation goes a VERY long way if you know how to get creative with it, so we will need a more in depth explanation to the limits and extent of her powers, as well as any possible weaknesses.

Nothing against Jet, but with such a powerful... power, the diamonds (and the tribunal of GMs) would need a way to keep her in check.

There's also the matter of the unnamed Gem. Her simply being "busy" is not enough of an excuse to have jet be her stand-in. If I might make a suggestion, maybe whoever was in charge of assigning the jobs accidentally put the unnamed gem on the cluster job without knowing that she was doing something else at the same time? And in order to fill the space, jet was the closest one around, and was there instead?
@Spinna[@Sassy] I don't have much to add. I have no problems with jet. Guardian Angel Haruki was here first, and has provided a greater explanation to her Pearl being on the mission in the first place.
Good Job Loonster

It was her big break to finally be layed off the team with Prima. She couldn't stand how snobby the other Astrophilite was, and thanked the diamonds to be off that team. Who cared if Prima was the oldest in the group? That Astro herself was the youngest? That Astro was fundementally the weakest, and more unacceptable to shattering? Who cared! They were going to a planet that was abandoned by Homeworld. Nonetheless, the was going with a group that was composed of several different types of gems! How unusual!

It was her time to shine, and no time better than when everything was falling apart with the gravitational resistance. They were now plummeting into the earth, what fun!

She moved power to her EM field manipulation, keeping herself planted to the floor of the ship. It was the one thing that she was good at, and her complete mastery of the power at such a young age is what put her on the team with Prima in the first place.

It wouldn't be enough, she told herself. "I can protect us, but you need to be close!" she called out to the other gems in the ship. It might just barely be enough to save their gems, especially her own. She hated how weak and fragile she was, always having to actively use her fields to protect her gem from coming in contact with other things. Even her fusion with the other Astrophylites resorted power to her gem specifically.

Now, though, was her time to shine.
@Silver Carrotmaybe ask Emma what her intentions with this knowledge are?

I'm gonna have the next period start soon anyways
