@Burning KittyFixed my post regarding Rose Mary
I'm stealing from X-Men Destiny, because I'm the only person on the planet who actually enjoyed that game somewhat, and nobody else cares.
Despite her distance from Rose Mary, Emma watched the her from her position on the plane. Though she didn't say anything about her using and practicing control over her mutation, a pleasant smile graced her features. She was glad to see The girl growing into herself, becoming more comfortable with her abilities and becoming mentally strong enough to will her body to change how she saw fit. She would truly be unlike any other. This whole team was filled with ambitious young men and women. In an interesting turn, there were more women than men on the team.

"What about... diamonds?" Emma suggested to the girl beside her, transforming into her own diamond form for reference. Perhaps it was something dangerous to have Emma suggest to Rosemary to change herself into something that was absolutely solid. What if she couldn't change back? "You know... Don't. I don't want you to be stuck as a diamond figure for the rest of your life." It was ultimately Rose Mary's choice, but Emma was just tossing an idea around to pass the time. She was well aware of Rose Mary's stance on Telepaths, and while telepathy would have made their conversation easier, she chose to respect her wishes and not have her mind invaded by Big Brother.

Cable was well aware of Chrys' activities. Due to his cybernetic eye, Cable was able to see a large number of things that normal humans were unable to see. Psionic energies, among many others, are things that that he can detect. Chrys' use of subspace was included.

"In my time?" Cable echoed, almost smiling at the thought. His time was something else entirely, one that Cable couldn't even access normally anymore. Chrys did not exist there. To make things simple, he used this future. Laura's future. "Finally is a relative term that doesn't really apply to you, Chrys. So, yes. You do master your abilities. However, how and when you do achieve mastery is completely up to you." That sounded vauge enough to keep Chrys at bay. They were all children, they all wanted to know when they grew up and saved the world. Cable wanted them to experience growing.

Chrys was something special. He, like the others on the team, were all very special in Laura's time, in their future. Even Bonny, who didn't quite believe in herself, would grow rather well in twenty years.

Shawn wasn't quite sure how to react when Tatiana gave him absolutely nothing. Even he was willing to share his life's story if she would put at least something on the table for them to learn about her.

"Come on." Shawn dragged, his clear cut american accent slipping just enough to tease anyone who might be listening in. "You weren't in any crazy vampire gangs? Living it up in secret underground vampire clubs where they spray human blood on you or whatever? I'm sure you would have loved the crazy mutant club in Takachiho." He wasn't sure how well versed about the world Tatiana actually was, but if she really was into all that vampire stuff, maybe she's know about his type of vampire. Of course, they were called something different, but they were too similar to not know of each other at least.

I'll get a post up in a bit. Thanks to heavy rain and a ton of flooding I was stuck in my uncle's hunting lodge for a day and a half extra... I like rain... that was wayy to much rain.

at least you're safe, and your son hasn't been kidnapped!
Time for some Pre-mission team bonding!

If only we had a campfire to stare into as they shared their horrid pasts...
"Well!" Shawn smiled and patted Heidi on the shoulder. "Looks like you've got your future handled, then. Billionaire, genius, inventor, philanthropist Heidi Williams, taking on the world with her hus... Life partner." His face reddened just the slightest bit. He tried to reassure himself by saying that maybe she wouldn't get married to a man. Maybe a woman, or an alien. That sounded cool. "Life Partner."

If she could really be the inventor of time travel, as well as apparently really good mission suits, then Shawn couldn't wait to see the person that Heidi would grow to be. He began to lose himself in thought. Maybe the whole team would last long enough for Cable, Laura and Wade to see them all in the future. He wondered what they'd all be like twenty years from now.

He could see Rose Mary being something like Laura. Rose couldn't die, or at least, Shawn was sure that she couldn't be killed. Maybe she'd come to accept her powers, maybe even control them to adapt and change how she saw fit. Maybe she'd be like Logan, a loner who disappeared when she saw the need to, but always came back home.

Tatiana will always be a mystery to him. Maybe she'd lead the vampires and make peace with the humans and mutants, maybe she'd take over the world from the shadows. It was hard to tell what kind of path she could even be on.

Chrys was in a bit of a situation too. Something about Chrys felt off today compared to the day before the mission. Maybe something with his powers, maybe something personal after the bank explosion. Chrys would always fight for good, though. Shawn knew that. Chrys would put the earth before his own needs, and use his omega level powers to help.

Maybe they'd pick up some more? Who could tell. At this point, Shawn had been playing songs in his head to pass the time. There wasn't a whole lot to do for the time being.

"Hey, Prof Smith." Shawn spoke up and raised his hand. "You got anything we can do to pass this plane ride? Any team building exercises or anything?" Shawn was anticipating the oncoming groans, but his mood didn't change. If he was to be hoenst, he didn't know a whole lot about his teammates. Maybe they could just talk things over until the flight was through.

"Tatiana." He called out a second person. "How'd Xavier find you? Where were you before the X-Mansion?" Shawn knew the least about her, so he figured that he'd start with her, and then they could make their way around to learning about everyone in time.

Wade could be heard laughing to himself. He wasn't going to tell anyone what he was thinking, not even reveal the secrets of the future to the prying narrator, no matter how much he wanted to hear them. He obviously knew something about Tatiana, though he still refused to spill the beans.

Shawn glanced at wade, the man's face hidden behind his red and black mask. There was something about him that made Shawn feel uneasy, but he didn't voice it. Looking back at Tatiana, he motioned for her to go on.
"Alright kiddies! It's time to go!"

Wade took the jump on leading the group to the hangar. Cable and Laura would have to pause their conversations, even if only for a second. The three stood in the front, directing this mission as they said they would. There was a serious air around the group, something about actually walking towards this dangerous mission filling Shawn with uncertainty.

A large and heavy hand set itself on Shawn's shoulder, weighing him down just a little. He could tell by the metallic shine that it was Cable, probably hoping to settle his nerves.

"You grow up to be what you've wanted to become. You're essentially immortal, and don't need to eat food. But yes, you can." Cable seemed to answer each question as they were popping up in Shawn's mind. Of course, they had gone through all of this many times before. Still, that didn't deter Shawn from being amazed at his future. He was an X-Man? an immortal X-Man who didn't need to eat food? Cable It had to do something with his mutation, Shawn was sure of it. Was he like a living lightning bolt in the future? He wanted to ask, but Cable was already shaking his head in denial. Though smiling, Shawn hung his head a little. He should have known that Cable wasn't going to tell him everything.

He was almost going to ask about a love life. Was he going to settle down? Maybe find his parents and see them for the first time in a long time? Maybe start a family? Was he even a family man? Shawn stilled himself from asking those questions. It'd be much more fun to let it play out and be a surprise to him, than know all of the answers and simply anticipate them.

In the Hangar, Booker stepped up in front of everyone, standing tall in hopes of getting them all (especially Rose Mary) to listen to him and heed his words.

"Alright everyone. When we get in the Blackbird, I'm going to need all of you to strap down and stay secure. We're going to be going at supersonic speeds, and I want to make sure that all of you are safe in that jet until we touch down. It's going to be about three hours in the plane until we reach our destination, so I hope you're all ready to get comfy."

"Cool." Shawn nodded in understanding. "But where are we going? Cable didn't exactly tell us that part."

"Hermosillo, Mexico." Laura gave the answer, stepping onto the plane with nothing else to say to anyone. Her accent showed a little more than it did before, but it wasn't surprising to Emma, Booker, nor Shawn.

With everyone in, Laura was Joined in the cockpit by Cable, leaving Wade to deal with the little rapscallions in the back with Emma and Booker.

Shawn tried to sit with Heidi, being the one on that team that he knew the best. Had Jacob been on the team, Shawn would have found a way to sit between the two of them. "So, get any cool answers about the future? Apparently I become immortal. Probably through eating raw plasma or something."

The Blackbird shook once, the platform underneath the plane rising to allow them access to the sky. Once the skies were clear, another shake alerted them to the active turbines. In a split second, they were up in the sky and off to the border.
Small post, I'll move things along when Bonny makes her move.
Laura was rather surprised at how popular she had become with the younger versions of those that she worked with. She had struck up a conversation with Heidi, but Rosemary also wanted to talk to her.

"Logan is someone I know well in your future." She gave a brief future. "He will not meet me for another twenty-odd years." While she didn't want to be rude, she was talking with Heidi first, and found her questions of the future rather amusing. Her love life? Her social skills? Heidi did have a good point to justify getting answers. What they were about to do would drastically change future. She may even not exist in the future they were going to create. There was little harm in disclosing such insignificant details, especially since they had the failsafe with them.

"Socially, you improve. You've told me about your social ineptitude, and I was almost unable to believe it, given how far you've come." A ghost of a smile graced her features, her arms crossing over one another. "And yes. You are married. Happily so."
OH boy, of all the things Laura could say to Heidi about the future...
