“Here, dear,” Terra says to Paige, producing a small knife and handing it to her hilt first. “Be careful with that. It’s quite sharp.” Terra looks around as most everyone makes themselves at home, and takes a seat in a chair that’s much too big for her, to wait for one and all to finish. As most of the group begins to move outside, she does as well, stopped only by Gale’s words.

“Off to see the Great Mage, correct?” He hands her a rolled up parchment, sealed shut with thick blue wax. “Do me a favor and give her that for me. In exchange, I’ll let you know that some of the others leaders of the Sun Kingdom might just so happen to be there today. Tread lightly. I hear there is some due unrest between a few of them, likely caused by your friends’ arrival here.”

She nods at him, not exactly pleased with what he is telling her. “As cryptic as ever, Gale.” Terra takes the scroll and puts it within her robe, seemingly to store. Then, she turns to the group once more, arms folded.

“Well now, if that’s all, is everyone ready to keep moving? Or does anyone need help finding something?”
@YamiCuoreLaroux Yeah, I'm not really sure what we're all supposed to be doing right now. I vote we move forward.
@Savi It's all free! Everyone is allowed to pick out whatever they want.
Can I ask what we're waiting on?
@Slendy
"Yeah, sure. I don't mind the company." Don's acting wasn't half bad, and Kai didn't have any suspicions about his story. After all, this place was pretty weird. Some guy covered in blood wasn't too out of the ordinary. She eats a bit more of her cotton candy, then silently offers him some by extending he fluffy treat out towards him, and asks, "So if you've never been to a carnival before, what do you want to do first? I've just been walking around since I got here."
@Slendy
Kai continues to wander, until she comes upon the food vendors. She pauses for a moment, before deciding to treat herself. What harm could a snack do, after all? She has a sweet tooth, and cotton candy is one of her favorites. The exchange is simple, and she grins at the seller as she pays. From there, she makes her way further around the fantastical place, until she sees Don covered in quite a lot of blood. She looks him over and asks, "Are you one of the entertainers? Because that stuff looks impressively realistic. I didn't know carnivals could get scarier than overzealous clowns." She tears off a bit of the pink fluff from her sugary food, and pops it into her mouth with passive interest, hips jutted out to the side just so.
Terra walks at the front of the group, a constant enthusiasm gracing the features of her small face. She was delighted to see some of the party had begun to open up to each other, and experiment with what they could do. There was such a wide variety of talents among the group, and each seemed suited to its owner in a unique way. They would make a wonderful team if they chose to stick together.

She was careful not to interrupt the delicate social exchange between the new acquaintances, but quickly noticed James removing himself from the group. Quietly, she says to him, “Would you perhaps be interested in learning more about elemental magic? As an imp, fire magic is my specialty.”

With these words, they all round a large bend along the brick path, which brings them to a smooth river stone bridge over a babbling brook. The grass immediately nearest to the water’s edge is filled with hundreds of tiny and colorful flowers in several varieties, and a dozen or so turtles sit in the sandier spots. Terra leads them across, and before them lays a large wooden building. A fuzzy green moss grows out of any nooks the dark planks have formed over the years, but the building still remains strong. She speaks up so that everyone may hear her. “Here is the storage room! Let us all go inside, and you may welcome yourselves to any outfit you so choose. They are spares, so no one should miss them.”

Just outside the door is a boy who looks typically human, save for his tinted crimson complexion and shocking red hair. And, perhaps most noticeably, a single horn protruding from his forehead. He looks beyond pleased to see some new faces, pushing himself off of the door into a standing position. Looking down, he grins pleasantly at the imp. “Oh! Terra, is that you? It’s been a while!” He looks from her to the rest of the group, and upon realizing he recognizes absolutely none of them, asks, “What wonderful wanderers have you brought my way today?”

It seems it is not uncommon for Terra to come to this place, with strangers in tow. She simply responds, “Guests of the Great Mage, Gale. We’re here to raid your stores.”

Gale chuckles at her cavalier use of language, and steps out of the way. “Help yourself, my lady. Any friends of yours are friends of mine.” He raises his hands, and with a brief flash of light, a magical seal on the door is released with a whisper from an unknown source, and they are given entry.
@Slendy That would be an option, but right now character applications are closed. I'll put you on the list of interested people to notify when/if I open up more spots though.
I'll tell you what I told the others: feel free to keep an eye on the thread for now! :)

And to everyone else, expect an update in a little bit! I'm in a brief reprieve from my illness. Let's hope it lasts.
Sorry for the delay. I've caught some sickness and will update when I am well. In the meantime, feel free to have your characters talk among themselves.
Gently, the deer sniffs Jacinta’s hand, and seemingly unoffended by what it smells, relaxes and walks closer up to her with shiny and interest filled eyes. It looks over Lavinia, sniffing her curiously as well. As Basco approaches, the deer looks up at him, skittishly. It freezes, though it doesn’t bolt.

Terra says, “Blue deer are rare. They are known as Sky Deer, and only live near this part of the Sun Empire, and in Angels’ Rest. It’s said that their presence brings good luck. I think this is a sign that our journey will go well for us.” Terra nods to herself, grinning tenderly. Then, she begins to walk again, knowing they can’t look at wildlife all day. “Come now, we must make haste if we are to gather clothes and see the Great Mage both before the day is done.”
