Good news, I'm not failing out of my cooking course tomorrow! Bad news, it's only because I nearly sliced a chunk off my finger practicing for it and needed stitches.

It's days like today that I truly believe this ADHD is both a blessing AND a curse.

I’ll try to get started on the post for Chatak and his guard friend outside the tower soon.
@Dark Cloud
Also now that I’ve seen it from the goblins perspective, I can’t help but decide I’m getting more “Darth Vader at the end of Rogue One” vibes from Jared now.
@Thinslayer
Yeah, he was. I’ll need to catch up on everything though because I just got up.
I was mostly getting Artorias vibes myself, but yeah, I guess they’re all pretty similar in tone.
@Dark Cloud
Now that I've read it, yeah, he's pretty interesting. I'm tired this day, probably because it's 3 am, so yeah.
@Dark Cloud
Oh cool, I was a little worried you were straight up changing to Jared as well.
@Thinslayer
Oh, also, would it be fine if we made it so Gungun was just a particularly ingenious goblin and came up with how to make guns on his own, after he left the tribe? Because I imagined that Chatak might’ve figured out how to make black powder, but wasn’t confident that he would be able to make an actual firearm at this stage, not really knowing the mechanics of how they worked and worried that anything he made would backfire and kill the wielder. He probably made a few basic bombs and stuff to help blast through the clay and dig deeper, and yeah, maybe to use in some traps for rival tribes too, but that would’ve been the extent at this point.

Also, after seeing how much room this stuff takes up, I’m probably just gonna pm any new gob ideas I have.
@Thinslayer
Oh, I wouldn’t say that. I figured a pretty decent part of getting them to the point where they have a chance to even understand industry would involve helping them learn how to properly fight back against other gob tribes and large monsters.

The Claybitah’s and surrounding tribes were not advanced, basically in the stone age. They couldn’t even make leather or stuff at first, just wearing the hides, furs or shells as is. If they saw the armoured gobs that are attacking the town now, they would’ve assumed they were a different race with an exoskeleton like crabs or bugs, which is probably what they thought the deal was with other races wearing armour too. That’s why Chatak is seen as such an incredible tactician and thinky gob, because his weak to average understanding of lots of different subjects was still leaps and bounds ahead of what they could do on their own, technologically and militarily.
@Thinslayer
I think it’s more just that I’ve been going through a bit of a big pirate vibe lately. Just watched that two year old vampire coast trailer for total war warhammer 2 for the first time last night, so I got caught up in the long dead hype.
@Thinslayer
Oh right, he’s a cowboy type. I don’t know why, but I sort of had it in my head that he was like a pirate.
