The others caught up quick, and after a quick spot by Sen she clambered into a cave and started to catch her breath and slow down heart. She looked through the entrance of the cave and determined it was quite hidden to fool their human persuers. She wasn't sure about the monsters or whatever else was out to get the twelve of them. "How did it find us?" she questioned aloud to no one in particular.

Eve watched the action unfold, thankful that everyone was safe. After taking a moment to relax, she was amazed to see the other gaurdian forms, all different but unique to their astrological sign. She looked down at her dress and her bare feet and realized she was no longer cold. She smiled a bit stroking her garment before looking up at the others. Then she heard the sirens. The smile dropped from her face, and only then did she nottice the damage that had been done to their surroundings. Charred fence from a flame attack, broken windows, trees toppled over onto power lines and branches ripped from their perches because of the lethal air attacks. Nervous, she nodded towards Allan and Chris, "We need to go," she agreed and as her face was lit up by blue lights she continued, "We need to go now." Turning in the opposite directions of the police cars she started jogging hoping the others would follow.

Eve gasped as Sen was attacked and ran forward, knowing she had to do something. The scream of the beast rang in her ears and she felt herself change, enveloped in a glow like the mark on her hand she grew taller, her clothes changing into a grecian gown, and her bare limbs unfeeling of the cold. She hardly notticed the transformation as she screamed loud in her head at the monster, hoping to disorient it, maybe giving Sen enough time to escape and for more help to arrive. She no longer felt as afraid, she felt strong.

Eve had followed Sen outside peeking around her shoulder at the new girl that showed up. Too many teenagers were out on the street tonight, or maybe this was the normal amount, she never really went out past ten thirty. She watched intently for the girl's response to Jeffery's symbol when the thing appeared. The smoke blacker than the night itself slithered across the sidewalk in front of the Sen and took the form of a monster. Finding her legs, Eve began backing away too startled to make a sound as she stared dumbstruck. She knew that things would be after them, but she figured humans, kidnappers, something of that sort. Not a monster that looked like it had stepped out of a horror movie. Her mouth opened and closed like a fish trying to find the strength to scream out or something.

Eve waited outside for a few moments before following the others in. She took out her phone and gazed at a blank message addressed to her mother's cell phone. After a bit of thinking she typed in, "Going on a quick vacation with some friends, don't worry I'll text soon." Satisfied, but feeling guilty, she pocketed her phone and joined the others in the store. Picking up a red handbasket she started going through the aisles pulling cheap food, protein bars, water, a universal phone charger, gloves, and a white scarf into the basket. Satisfied she grabbed a sturdy backpack off the rack and waited behind Chris in line to purchase everything, charging it to her own bank account so her parents wouldn't know. After recieving some suspicious looks from the clerk behind the counter Eve hurriedly backed away and pulled her scarf out of the bag. In a swift motion she yanked off the tags and wrapped the material around her neck and instantly felt warmer, and safer. She set down her bags and started the job of putting everything into her new backpack as she waited for the others to finish up.

Eve looked down at the sidewalk, "All I know of my powers is that I can talk to people in my head, and they can talk back, or at least I can hear them. That and I can make plants overgrow..." The memory o her parent's shocked faces when a sapling they had just planted in the backyard grew to the height of a hundred year old tree in the middle of the night. They had written it off as a prank, but how someone could replace a tree with something so old and so large was something that couldn't be explained.

Eve took back her hand and nodded to both Sen and Chris. "Nice to meet you," she said notticing that some members of the group looked packed and ready to head out on a long adventure, or run awa from whatever was chasing them. Whichever it was, Eve felt really unprepared. She had nothing on her besides her phone, wallet, and a stick of gum that was probably in her back pocket. She became anxious, stuffing her hands into her pockets so her nervous ticks wouldn't show. "Yeah, let's go," Eve agreed with Jeffery. Pulling her sleeve up and showing her own hand, "Virgo," she stated.

Eve blinked, and shook her head, "Of course," she went to offer her hand to shake only to find it glowing and offered her other hand, "I'm Eve, Eve Burns." She paused and looked both of the teens up and down, "This is so surreal, I didn't think anyone else was going through this. You even had the same dream too?" She asked glancing at the hands of the others.
