Can you change into guardian form by yourself or does it just happen suddenly?

You have control of when you change unless you're in immediate danger then you will be forced too. For example Sen is going to be forced into changing
If you take too much damage you revert human
Eve might be force changed too because she is kinda of close. I'll leave that up to you

And I got back from doing stuff, gonna save people with a big ass sword now. You can decide what that attack did to the monster.
