Spirit Guardians: The Call Of A Butterfly (ALWAYS ACCEPTING)

Soul link is a battle tactic. The first time the character and guardian bond, they achieve soul link, but after that it is pretty much how the spirits battle. The human is their "power conductor", basically letting the spirit use their body to fight.

Ths is a post on the second page of the OOC, that Inkd Bull said was correct:
Am I right to think of it as this: The guardian and the human soul link the first time, creating their bond. After that, soul link becomes a battle tactic. The guardian has a form, visible to other guardians and people with guardians and usually is seen with their counterpart, maybe occasionally going somewhere else. The Guardian has to use the human as a 'conductor' for their power in the human world. They are strongest together, and thusly use this bond as a way to protect people and defeat evil. To summarize: They are two distinct entities, soul link is used to fight, they are connected by a bond and feel safer together, spirit transgressions must be dealt with by their human.

"How about I just use my hand as a gun, like you? I don't even know how to shoot a real gun anyway," Rae demonstrated by lifting her hand, collecting shadows into a concentrated ball and then shooting the ball out to have it crash into an enemy. Instead of just knocking the enemy down, the ball went through the creature, leaving a gaping hole behind. The creature fell to the ground, lifeless. "Oh shit. Well that works."

Rae then created a large platform, concentrating hard on it. When she moved her hand away, the platform remained. "Yes!" Rae then made another ball of shadow and blasted it out. All the while the platform remained floating. To test its strength, Rae climbed upon it, lightly thinking move towards the rift. It did exactly as she wanted, and Rae grinned. "Climb on! We'll ride towards the rift and shoot as we go!" she motioned for Jim to join her atop the floating shadows.

can you see each others guardians and communicate with them. or is it a only the linked person can see the guardian type of guardian? ( messed up sentence i know)

can a linked person also see and touch their guardian?

If a person is linked with a guardian, they can see all other guardians and thusly communicate with them. As for the touching, I assume yes as long as the guardian is corporal, and not made of smoke or something. If you are unsure, I think the touching thing would be a case by case instance, and that you should ask the creator of that character for clarification.

Moeasha nodded, and turned to Azerus. "We search the island, yes? These three know nothing, but there may be something else on the island causing the attacks." She then turned back to the trio and bowed her head in thanks. "We much appreciate your time."

Having said her piece, Moeasha turned to further search the island, expecting Azerus to follow. She was quite oblivious, truly believing the three wizards were telling the truth, despite their contrary actions.

Black Cheshire a.k.a. Naomi Williams

After changing out of the skin tight suit and taking a quick steamy shower, Naomi grew bored. She unpacked the small and worn duffel she brought with her, folding clothes into the provided dresser. At the bottom of the duffel sat a thin black picture frame. In the picture frame was an old photograph of three girls, all similar in face and with sleek black hair. Naomi frowned at it, placing it face down on top of the dresser. After that, she was done with the unpacking.

Naomi figured if her room wasn't going to entertain her, maybe the lounge would provide something to occupy her time with. Choosing to walk instead of teleport this time, to get a feel for the layout of HQ, Naomi set out. Her black tee and ripped up dark blue jeans were all she wore, forgoing the trash running shoes. Not like they would be providing much protection for the bottom of her feet anyway.

Once at the lounge Naomi took a seat in a plush chair, feeling the soft cushions and grinning. "Now this I could get used to," she whispered to herself. She then grabbed a TV remote, turning it on to a random channel. The sound of a cooking show filled the air, and Naomi got settled. Cooking wasn't really of interest to her, but this was the first time she'd have a TV all to herself, in a place that wasn't a correctional center or charity space. She was going to enjoy anything that came across the screen.

I didn't want to get lost later on in the RP, so I tried to force something out. Even if I feel it was pretty rough. But writing usually soothes me when I have a shit night, so maybe this time I will write RP style instead of in my novel outline. (The screams of my friend/writing motivator can be heard in the distance.)

Black Cheshire a.k.a. Naomi Williams

Meandering through the area of the city she had been assigned, Naomi kept a lookout for any suspicious activity. She found it at the sound of gunfire, quickly teleporting to a rooftop above the source of the sound. She looked down to see old cars decaying in their metal frames abandoned, store fronts with broken windows, and trash lining the street. Among these things she also noticed a body lying still, puddle of blood seeping from under their body. Naomi leaped down from the roof, landing on the top of a car. She silently moved across to the body, checking his neck for a pulse. Nothing. Looking up, Naomi made her way to the corner, peeking around it. A hooded figure could be seen running. Smirking, Naomi teleported right in front of the person. The man let out a high pitched scream, skidding to a halt and pointing his weapon at Naomi. She darted forward quickly and kicked it from his shaking hands. Then she kicked the mans chest, sending him flying backwards. Naomi threw a punch at his nose, breaking it. He was a pathetic, whimpering mess. Sneering, Naomi used the commlink to contact the police about the murder, then she slammed the mans head into the brick side of a building, rendering him unconscious.

"Pity I can't do more. Murder? What a waste of space you are," Naomi spit on the man, then threw a blast of dark matter at the gun, destroying it.

Sighing, Naomi decided she was done for the night. She teleported back to HQ, and made her way toward her new place. She was already tired of wearing the Black Cheshire outfit, and wanted nothing more than to relax.

Sensing the rising tension, and noticing Azerus' attitude, Moeasha pasted a placating smile on and stepped forward. "Yes, we are wizards. Sorry for bothering you, but we came from the fishing village back on the mainland," Moeasha gestured back where they had come from, "And we're trying to find the source of a recent attack on the village. Do you all happen to know what caused it?"

Rae frowned. "No...." she gulped. "No better ideas. But I think my shadow can possibly create something for us to stand on, to get into the rift?"
At the thought Rae concentrated and shadows collected to form a floating platform next to Rae. "As long as no more flashes of light occur, we should be able to make it."
