Food source: Meat and lesser animals. Mostly fish.
Size: About 100 feet long. Thousands of pounds heavy.
Natural abilities: Can fly effortlessly without wings. Controlling the air around it. Has a tough scale hide. Can swim swiftly and hold its breathe for hours. Can smell, hear and see better than most animals.
Magical abilities: Can manipulate the air. Can Conjure air currents from simple breezes to tornadoes. Can unleash concentrated beams of magical ice, air and water. It freezes and obliterates what it hits.
Usual Temperaments: Calm yet not docile. Would rather be left alone and if not left alone it will be provoked.
Locations Found: These dragons can be found on the islands between Nero's land and Tearia.
Weaknesses: It is weak to electrical attacks.

Species name: Ice Titan
Food source: Nutrients from deep within Mountains.
Size: About 200 feet tall.
Natural abilities: Is immune to ice. Can control and manipulate cold. Body is made of hard stone like ice rocks.
Magical abilities: Can conjure ice of various sizes from the ground below.
Usual Temperaments: A quiet passive creature. It is rarely provoked to anger. But given its size it is known why.
Locations Found: The highest peeks of Gaias mountains on the snowy slopes.
Weaknesses: Fire or anything that will increase the heat of its body. Moves very slowly.

Species name: Possessed Golem Knight
Food source: Soul essence from hunting other creatures.
Size: Around twenty feet tall. Over a thousand pounds.
Natural abilities: Hide as tough as its shield and weapon. Does not need to breathe. Does not feel pain.
Magical abilities: High resistance to magic.
Usual Temperaments: Usually aggressive on sight if not mostly unresponsive.
Locations Found: In ancient unmarked ruins the far down south of Nero.
Weaknesses: It is very slow.

Out in the open was Zephel surrounded by curious people. Word of his presence was spreading like hot fire. A tamer of all monsters? IT was unbelievable. Some questioned why he would waste his time, dragon tamers already existed and they were the strongest of monsters no?

"Haha! Long time has passed since Dragons ruled. Variety is now the strength of the monsters and Dragons are just another part of the messy whole!" He told the elders who scoffed at the idea of taming all monsters. It was impossible either way. "No it isn't!" Zephel protested. Holding out a stone with a glowing water like light inside and a prime piece of meat in both hands. "You simply need to find what the monster enjoys eating. That's half the work." He also dug into his bag and pulled out rare fruits. "These are more valuable than gold to a true tamer. Come I will teach the young for they will understand it takes heart over anything else."

He walked over to the shack he had with drapes over it. He undid the drapes and revealed a variety of monsters all within a pocket dimension inside crystal spheres all lined up in rows. He grabbed a sphere and held it out to a young one. The child took it and it released a magical aura that made the creature appear in the air above her. A glowing light fairy that rained healing dust on her. "The one who awakens them will be their new master. Once they're yours it will be up to you to keep them well. This is responsibility."

Many were ready to grab a free obedient monster but he held his hand up to stop them. "She was just an example. Only those with true heart will be given a few monsters. The rest of you can go out and get your own for all I care." This took the crowd by surprise. But he went on. "I seek to learn more about this world's monsters. I need the ones who accept these monsters to aid me in taming more monsters across this land." He held another sphere in his hand. "Who will accept this task?"

Very few accepted as only the young was allowed. But those who did were given one or two monsters to start with and their first mission...
Out beyond the forest was a giant tree, Sunfire. There they were tasked to ask where the location of a strange beast that was recently lurking about was. Then find the monster and either defeat it and capture it or tame it as best they could.

"Remember." Zephel would tell them before their journey. "Monsters are a lot like animals. Learn their habits."

Ascension: Monster Farm

Mole Drake

Appearance:
Species name: Mole Drake
Food source: Smaller creatures and hordes of insects.
Size: Over 12 feet long
Natural abilities: It has a rock hard hide where the diamond like protrusions sit. Its claws are long and good for digging up earth very quickly. It can sense through the earth vibrations up to half a mile. Stones on back glow in the dark. Has a strong bone breaking bite.
Magical abilities: It can use the magical stones on its back to conjure crystal spikes from out of the ground.
Usual Temperaments: It is normally shy and docile even in the wild. Preferring to stay burrowed underground.
Locations Found: In the mountain territory of Gaia. Some in the forests of Vrondi and others in the deep caverns of Nero.
Weaknesses: It has no legs so being away from earth makes it vulnerable.

Spirit Steed

Appearance:
Species name: Spirit Steed
Food source: Vegetation.
Size: A little larger than a horse.
Natural abilities: Can run up to 50 mph. Is very agile, able to scale up surfaces. Can jump several feet into the air.
Magical abilities: Can channel magic through its horns to move through objects.
Usual Temperaments: A wild horse that does not like to be ridden and a rare few are able to tame it to do so. Besides that it is friendly.
Locations Found: From Twilight town straight to the east to the ends of the land on the shores boarding Fotia and Gaia's territory.
Weaknesses: They can easily be scared to run away. They are not very smart.

Digimon: Digital Monsters- V3

Suddenly as if out of a horror movie little monsters began to appear. It took a moment for them all to begin popping up. Everyone had scattered a bit but remained in their clearing. It was not a good idea to leave the only meat shields behind entirely. Franky couldn't help but shake at the thought of some kind of Jurassic park nightmare to come out. He lifted the stool chair he had close by. He held it over his head and in both hands, ready to swing it or throw it. He felt a need to protect since he was one of the only males here, yet the young one, Alex was her name was on his mind in particular to not allow to get killed. Call it natural instincts to protect children, he didn't think much of his life anyway why not lose it being a hero?

Then it happened. All at once more like. Every Digimon began escaping the forestation and coming into the light. Practically throwing themselves onto everyone. With cheery tones even despite their diverse monstrous appearance. But he couldn't help but feel panicked. "Watch out!" He shouted to everyone. He noticed they were actually holding conversations with these things. A dragon, a chess piece, A dinosaur, a talking plant.. The list went on. This strange assortment felt like a sick dream. He HAD to be on something now. He dropped the chair and rubbed his neck uneasily. He felt there, he felt sober if not a bit delirious. He wiped his forehead from sweat.

As he did so he heard something creep up behind him. He turned with whiplash to see what it was, jumping forward and nearly falling when he saw the shiny metal hide and sharp claws of a full fledged rookie digimon. Though he did not know that. He went for his chair again and scream with all his might and brought it down on the Digimon. The cheap metal of the chair bounced off his head with a clang and Franky was forced to let go of the chair, as it vibrated too strongly. The Digimon looked at him with a cocky grin.

"So you're my partner huh? I imagined you'd be bigger. The names Ludomon!"

Z fell on his ass once it started speaking to him. He tried to regain some composure but couldn't help but just sit and blink. "I'm the toughest thing ever buddy and don't you forget it! That tiny thing felt like a pebble." Ludomon chuckled, wagging his tail to show he was friendly. Franky got the message and crawled to his feet. He knelt down to meet eyes with Ludomon and pointed to himself. "Yo.. I'm Franky. But you can call me Z."

"Yo Z!" Ludomon said with a sharp toothed grin and happy eyes. Z scratched his head. "I'm your.. partner?" He asked in slow realization. Ludomon nodded. "Yup, you're a Digidestined and I'm your Digimon partner. Together there will be no stopping us from taking down those bad guys!" Franky tilted his head. This was a lot to process but he was not one to overlook that these Digimon were all saying relatively the same thing. So it must be true. Just what the hell was going on where HE was chosen to be some kind of savior? This place is doomed. He immediately thought as he looked at Ludomon's cheerful expression.

Nero / Vrondi

Twilight Town

A town best illuminated from dusk till dawn. Several homes rest here. The town is quiet and most business is done indoors. A weapon shop that specializes in silent projectiles and tools for hunting. A bar & inn named 'Dusk till Dawn'. A store specializing in herbal remedies and a doctor working within. Nightrider stables for swift transport throughout Nero. Dolofon second headquarters sits here in eerie silence. Tour guides for Nero's jungles await here for hefty pay to help people survive the trip into Nero's capital and back.

The simple town of Twilight. The bar and inn and the simple general stores reside infront of the well in the middle of town. The tour guides to Nero's capital and back reside to the west near the towns entrance and exit. Vrondi guards keep watch of this area but do so lightly. The presence of Nayu soldiers linger in and out every once in a while to keep the power over this simple place divided. Those who live here are mostly Sol but many of them have Nayu blood. Thus the town is home to the moonlight sorcerers and warriors, those who harbor both blood and commune at night in the light of the moon. Awakening rare spells and abilities that manipulate darkness and light.

Vrondi

Sunfire Town

A mother tree giving birth to a bustling town of carefree neighbors. Solar powered technology. A flame burns at its highest center, never ending, engrasped by tree limbs. Several homes sit on and within. A bar & inn named 'Rest Easy'. A store with remedies and food all of the plant variety. The headquarters of the Aion lay within as a adoption center while the Taxis heal within the temple.

First Floor
The first level. Homes of those who live in Sunfire. Most are workers and shop owners. Though a home is always available for purchase through the temple.

The second floor. Shops and other essential locations. The shops were open. The temple was busy with injured soldiers. The Taxis were there doing their healing and mending.

The third floor is a circular flat wooden area on top of the tree. This is where gatherings are held by the Taxis and is decorated with stone statues of king Vrondi and angelic beings holding candle lights. The fires here can be seen from miles away sometimes making the tree appear as if it is on fire from a distance.

Fotia

Blaze

Warm town high grade industrial technology. Gentle waters streaming down its center and used for alternate power. A working class town with busy machines mining and serving an array of functions. A warm mist surrounds this town. A bar & inn called 'Foggy Bottom'. Not hospitable homes as work is the priority. The head of material production for Advanced Apparatuses and their production is centered here.
The Town of Blaze. An industrial town that housed mostly Fotians. The other less rarely seen group are Gaians. The flow of earth and fire keeping the machines drilling into the ground both in sea and on land. A mist forming on the waters from the redirected lava flowing beneath its surface through pipes and directed to massive crude machines above the water and within that act as factories to heat metals and shape them for many different needs.

Fotia

Flare

Another warm town with a single crevice. Many homes and just about every shop and convenient building is located here. A bar & inn named 'Fire Den' is located here. Homes and simple convenient stores sit on the top. Within the crevice walls are more advanced shops and buildings. Deep below all lies the Therosi Headquarters. Unreachable to the common folk and shrouded in secrecy.

Gaia

Pearl

Mostly white clean fresh and aired place. A farming town growing fruits and vegetation. Their meats are met through hunting as the people of Gaia do not believe in capturing and imprisoning Dragons. The head quarters of the Merchants guild is here. The town is bustling with merchants and farmers work closely with them. A bar & inn named 'Savvan's Inn'.

Gaia

Onyx

Another bustling town identical to Pearl but with darker stone buildings and homes. Another Headquarters for the merchants guild where hunting is the focal point.

Tearia

Tide

A simple small town with buildings in high places. The guild of the Magoi resides here. Not many homes. The Lassa use the river to go to their capital and back.

Fire Djinn

Appearance:
Species name: Red Djinn
Food source: Soul essence & burnable materials
Size: Around six feet.
Natural abilities: Floats above ground with a warm mist keeping it a few meters in the air at all times. Has multiple arms and is fairly dexterous.
Magical abilities: Can shape shift taking the form of other beings or creatures. It can also possess weaker creatures for a moment. It can burn what touches its surface and throw or manipulate fire.
Usual Temperaments: It is usually passive except when hungry and can be enraged to the point of not stopping its pursuit until the one who angered it is dead.
Locations Found: Fotia, North and North East of the capital and the towns. In the desert.
Weaknesses: Can be harmed by fire reducing attacks such as water or ice.

Armis Viventum

Appearance: An Armis looks like an animate suit of dragonplate armor, but on closer inspection, it is evident that it is actually a form of chitin. Each Armis starts it's life cycle as a single piece of finger armor, taking around two weeks to grow into a gauntlet, then about several months to reach the size of an arm. From there, it takes an Armis about five years to develop a torso, and then 2 years to complete the maturation process. Every ten years after reaching maturity the Armis' fingers fall off, beginning the cycle again. On the other hand, an Armis that bonds to a host will mature within two years after bonding.

Each individual Armis has it's own subtle uniqueness, no two the same. However, beyond that, it's looks are influenced heavily by either it's host, or the souls it has devoured, or a combination of the two.

Species name: Armis Viventum

Food source: In it's infancy, an Armis only survives off of ambient magics and microscopic organisms. However, once it grows to be the size of a torso, it begins feeding off residual soul essence, and once full grown, it hunts for prey, killing it with it's strength, and devouring it's prey's soul.

However, an Armis that has bonded to a host will survive strictly on it's host's magic throughout it's entire life cycle, but can still devour souls if it's host wills it so.

In the event an Armis cannot feed on souls, or magic energy, it will enter a state of suspended animation, ceasing it's growth, as well as halting all biological functions, until it once again is able to feed.

Size: Size and shape vary according to what souls they have most commonly been exposed to, but Armai always take the shape of a set of armor made to be worn by a descendant.

Natural abilities: All Armai that bond to a descendant gift their host with regeneration, as well as new, and increased abilities all around. Even with out a host, Armai have incredible regenerative capabilities, and their chitin is incredibly durable. Other abilities and traits are determined by the host they have bonded to, or by the souls they have devoured.

Additionally, the host of an Armis can manipulate their Armis' shape and form with enough practice and concentration.

Magical abilities: All magical abilities and traits (other than devouring souls) are completely dependent on the host they have bonded to, or by the souls they have devoured.

Usual Temperaments: Armai that have not developed a torso yet tend to be very docile and curious. However, Armai that have reached full maturity are reasonably intelligent, and have been even seen using spells and weaponry. Unfortunately this new intelligence is accompanied by a massive spike in aggression; any mature Armis that did not bond to a host only seeks to grow it's power.

How?

By devouring souls.

Locations Found: Armai are found in the area around the converging borders of Vrondi, Gaia, and Fotia.

Weakness: Armai that do not have a host hold a core in the center of their torso, that, if broken, kills the Armis.

Armai are also temporarily weakened by sonic attacks

Gryphon

Appearance:
Species name: Gryphon
Food source: From lesser creatures via hunting.
Size: Around twice the size of a horse.
Natural abilities: Besides keen eyesight and notable sense of smell, gryphons also have two different sets of powerful claws and the gift of flight.
Magical abilities: Can manipulate air to allow it greater flight and for creating whirlwinds.
Usual Temperaments: Gryphons are carnivorous hunters, with hunting patterns more of raptor than of lion. They're seldom docile creatures, and quite difficult for descendants to tame.
Locations Found: Gaian, Vrondi and Tearian mountains.
Weaknesses: Its fur and feathers are flammable and it has little defense against piercing attacks.

Water Spriggan

Appearance:
Species name: Water Spriggan
Food source: Fresh water and soul essence.
Size: Four to five feet on average.
Natural abilities: Can marge with other sources of water. Can fly swiftly and stay above ground at all times.
Magical abilities: Can manipulate water to form attacks. Can use its own water to heal others.
Usual Temperaments: Shy and usually very secretive. Mischievous and cunning.
Locations Found: Rivers south and north of the Tearian capital.
Weaknesses: Sand and other things that absorb liquids can hurt it greatly. Freezing cold.

Cheshire Cat

Appearance:

Species name: Cheshire Cat
Food source: He can really eat anything. He mainly eats berries or fish when he can catch them.
Size: Hes about 2 feet tall and weighs about 50 lbs. (hes about the size of a large Maine Coon cat)
Natural abilities: He can examine food to make sure its edible. He is very charismatic and uses it to trick his foes if he fears he cant fight them off with his magic. He can scratch pretty deep into any foe with his razor sharp claws.
Magical abilities: He has the ability to go invisible and reappear in other locations. He can't do it very far (so its not that op as in Alice in Wonderland). He can also shoot magic spells that do light damage that he is still learning how to perfect. He is also able to levitate that takes very little magical energy to do after years of practice.
Usual Temperaments: He is friendly and very charismatic. He sometimes even uses it to trick people into liking him or even avoid fighting him. Deep down he actually is very twisted when the time calls for it. He is always planning on how he can survive alone and not with other people but he uses them to his advantage, in a sense, while he can.
Locations Found: Mainly in Gaia for most of his life in the cities of Pearl and Onyx.
Weaknesses: His weakness is his size. Most monsters are always larger than him. Even though he can float he still has doubt in his ability to fight them and he suffers for it when its a huge size difference.

blue humonculus

Appearance:

Species name: Blue Homunculus
Food source: Most things in the sea.
Size: Around eight to ten feet tall. Around 300 ibs.
Natural abilities: Does not feel pain. Does not bleed. Can breathe underwater. Cannot die unless core is destroyed.
Magical abilities: It can cast spells taught to it. Though its knowledge of spells is limited to two.
Usual Temperaments: They usually wander aimlessly through ancient libraries. Usually calm, cold, quiet or simply absent minded. They are always on a search for learning spells despite their limited capacity.
Locations Found: South East of Tearia on their islands. In the Magoi Head Quarters. Deep underwater caverns in Tearia's undersea capital.
Weaknesses: It is not very strong physically. It has a core in its chests center that if destroyed can kill it until it is replaced.

Winged Basilisk

Appearance:
Species name: Winged Basilisk
Food source: Animals or people unlucky enough to come before them.
Size: They grow nearly forever and their length depends on their age. Usually young tamed ones are around 40 feet.
Natural abilities: Can glide from high places. Has a venomous bite Immune to venomous toxins. Can see through the dark and sense heat with their tongue. Tough scaled hide. Sharp dagger like rows of teeth. Very strong if wrapped around an enemy.
Magical abilities: Can release a mist that slowly turns organic creatures into stone.
Usual Temperaments: Usually passive if not stalking you. If disturbed however it will attack with a venomous bite.
Locations Found: West of Vrondi within Neros territory. Far south of Nero's capital and within a few caverns south west of twilight town.
Weaknesses: Like many Dragons its heart is its weakness. Its heart rests on its underbelly and beats with a red glow. Its wings can be easily burned. It has a low tolerance for cold.

Fire Lizard

Appearance:
Species name: Fire Lizard
Food source: Meat and fish.
Size: They can reach a height of 3 feet 6 inches and weigh about thirty five pounds.
Natural abilities: Their wings allow them to hover at a height of about four feet. They also have smooth but decently tough hides.
Magical abilities: They can breathe short stream of relativity cold bursts of burning gas from their mouths.
Usual Temperaments: Their temperaments differ from individual to individual, but they all share a tendency to become really close to one other creature regardless of species.
Locations Found: The can be found in any forest of Fotia that is close to one or more volcanoes.
Weaknesses: Being coldblooded they can't stand cold and ice.

Ball-tailed cat

Appearance:
Species name: Ball-tailed cat
Food source: Meat.
Size: They are typically about 7.9 feet in size and weigh about 219 pounds
Natural abilities: The can see very well in the dark and are great at climbing trees. Like all cats they have sharp claws and teeth. Finally they can use the tail they're named for as a blunt weapon.
Magical abilities: None.
Usual Temperaments: They are highly independent, and while they can be loyal to their owner they might not follow their commands and might even stray from them for long periods of time.
Locations Found: They can be found in the mountainous regions of Gaia.
Weaknesses: Ball-tailed cats really don't have any way of hurting creatures that resist physical attacks.

Venom Trap

Appearance:
Species name: Venom Traps
Food source: Other living organisms and sunlight.
Size: Around 7 feet tall. Only a hundred and thirty pounds.
Natural abilities: Can produce a sweet aroma to draw in prey to its waiting jaws. Has a decent bite and one that is poisonous. Can spawn seeds that will grow into another one of its own when it dies. Can vomit toxic poison in projectiles. Has poisonous spines on its body. Can sense creatures through the vegetation. Immune to poison.
Magical abilities: Immune to light magic. Absorbs light magic. Can grow vines from its body or force seeds of its own to grow into miniature versions of itself around three feet in height.
Usual Temperaments: A silent yet joyful creature when properly fed. If not its a danger to everyone.
Locations Found: Boarders between Nero and Vrondi. Few scattered in Vrondi and some in Nero.
Weaknesses: It cannot move fast at all. It is not very strong. Weak to cold and extreme heat.

Death Stinger

Species name: Death Stinger
Food source: Anything it can get its feelers on.
Size: It is 5 feet tall and weighs only around Eighty five pounds.
Natural abilities: It can fly fairly fast. It has a tough spiked hide on some areas. Can smell something from half a mile away and can taste things in the air. Has a sharp edged spike that is very hard chitin. Injects foes with a poison that paralyzes. Has multiple eyes and can see from all directions.
Magical abilities: Can reinforce its stinger with magic to pierce even stone.
Usual Temperaments: A creature that minds its own business unless its attention is redirected. Very hostile if provoked and will attack until it either calms down or has killed its target.
Locations Found: In the wild jungles of Vrondi, Gaia and Tearia.
Weaknesses: Is weak against extreme heat or cold. Does not weigh much and its wings are very light and can easily be damaged.

Diamon golem

Appearance:
Species name: Diamond Golem
Food source: Crystals, semi-precious and precious gems, with diamonds as their favorite
Size: Roughly 8 ft 11 tall.
Natural abilities: They are very strong and resistant to cutting attacks.
Magical abilities: By eating diamonds they can regenerate lost or damaged body parts, though only as long as their head is intact.
Usual Temperaments: Like ice titans they are passive and slow to anger, they are also slow to change their course of action.
Locations Found: They can be found in the mines of Fotia.
Weaknesses: Like regular diamonds they are brittle and parts of them can easily be shattered by blunt attacks. They're also slow.

Acquizari

Food source: Anything that can fit into it's mouth

Size: Initially 6-9 inches tall, and about 20 pounds (subject to change in the future)

Natural abilities: These beetles are born with rock hard carapaces as well as insectoid wings. However, their most notable feature is that they absorb the most beneficial trait of whatever they consume, slowly evolving to become more and more powerful. (abilities change and vary over time)

Magical abilities: It's absorption ability could also be considered magical as well. (abilities change and vary over time)

Usual Temperaments: In their original form, Acquizari are very timid, docile, and easily frightened (as they are incredibly weak when young)

Natural abilities: Immunity to shadow and fire. Long, sharp claws. Body as strong as steel, and hot to the touch. Can lift around 1,000 pounds, and is covered in small, bladed appendages.

Magical abilities: Can manipulate flame and shadow.

Usual Temperaments: Despite their terrifying visage, Flame Tennebrai are mildly intelligent, very passive, docile, and occasionally even friendly creatures. A Flame Tennebrus will only ever attacked when provoked.

Locations Found: Found grazing in Nero's lava flows, most are located in the cave system southwest of Twilight town.

Species name: Wig-Wig.
Food source: Any and all meat it can find.
Size: About one foot.
Natural abilities: Great pack hunters.
Magical abilities: The can eat way more than their size suggest and don't need water as they obtain their moisture from their food.
Usual Temperaments: While they often pretend to be cute and friendly while keeping their mouths closed, in reality they are ferocious, vicious, cunning, and in small numbers or on their own cowardly.
Locations Found: The forests in Gaia.
Weaknesses: Their fur is somewhat inflammable, but their biggest weakness is that one on one they are incredibly weak. An unarmed ten year old has a 75% to defeat a single Wig-Wig, 100% if they're smart enough to not attack the side with the mouth.

Griffin Drake

Species name: Griffin Drake
Food source: Nearly anything but loves seasoned cow meat.
Size: It is about nine feet long not counting the four foot tail. It stands at around five feet. Its wings make up a good amount of its size. Weighs around 150.
Natural abilities: Can glide from high up places. Has binocular vision. Has very tough and sharp claws and beak. Is quite intelligent.
Magical abilities: Can manipulate wind to conjure wind gusts and allow it flight. Can unleash a ball sized sphere of blue fire from its jaws.
Usual Temperaments: A calm and collected creature. The result of breeding a Dragon with a Gryphon this rare creature functions well with its master.
Locations Found: A rare creature in the wild. Lower half of the mountains of Gaia near the forests.
Weaknesses: Its fur and wings can easily be burned. It is light in weight making it easy to over power.

Size: About the size of a horse if not a little larger.
Natural abilities: Has a tough scaled hide. Can run at high speeds up to 70 mph. Can leap far distances and use its wings for gliding. Has sharp teeth, horns and claws. Hooves of steel and twice the strength of a horse.
Magical abilities: Can run on any surface. Can deflect fire attacks. Can run at an enemy with its body surrounded by fire.
Usual Temperaments: It is usually a calm creature. But not friendly and dangerous if provoked or pursued.
Locations Found: The Forests of Vrondi and a few in Fotias deserts.
Weaknesses: It has a weakness to cold. Its legs are thin and vulnerable compared to the rest of its body.

Size: It is about six feet tall and weighs very little. Inside of it is a metallic sphere which is around 30 pounds.
Natural abilities: It can mold and shift into small places if its center is able to fit. Can envelop creatures in itself and slowly dissolve them.
Magical abilities: Can cast a divine light that harms foes and heals others. Can glow with a brilliant light negating some dark spells. Is immune to light magic and can absorb light to regain energy. Immune to poison.
Usual Temperaments: It is a quiet simple creature.
Locations Found: A fairly rare creature found mostly in Vrondi's city. In the wild it can be found inside ancient ruins in Vrondi's mountains.
Weaknesses: Very weak to extreme cold. Weak to electrical attacks.

Magical abilities: Can conjure ice stones from the runes on its back and wind to create blizzard blasts. It can manipulate the cold and ice around it.
Usual Temperaments: A gentle but shy creature.
Locations Found: A rare creature. The snow peaks of Gaia and Tearia's mountains.
Weaknesses: Heat it cannot stand.

Usual Temperaments: They are generally aggressive and prefer to beat opponents with brute force rather than their toxins which they prefer to use as a last resort, something which come up quite often

Magical abilities: Can speak with plants. Can heal wounds with its accumulated pollen.
Usual Temperaments: Usually calm and passive creatures. Likely to gang up on foes in large numbers.
Locations Found: Vrondi jungle and forests. Inside Vrondi gardens.

Natural abilities: They can fly. Are able to unleash ultra sonic waves and hear the smallest of sounds. Their spiked tails can latch onto things.
Magical abilities: Can cast blood magic via the sad soul that constantly follows it. Can only learn to cast a single blood spell.
Usual Temperaments: Curious and happy rarely brought to anger except when starved then it becomes savage and feral.
Locations Found: In Neros capital as pets. In Neros caves and caverns. Some can be found in Neros forests at night.
Weaknesses: Bright lights hurt its eyes. Other loud noises can harm it. It is small and can be easily tossed around.

Living Scarecrow

Species name: Living Scarecrow

Food source: photosynthesis. The Scarecrow absorbs water by burying the stick it hops around on into the ground, remaining still for hours in order to store up every.

Size: 4 to 7 feet tall, but always lighter than an average human of that size.

Natural abilities: The Scarecrow's main survival skill is its ability to remain still and appear to be just a normal scarecrow. However, it it believed itself to be in danger it has the ability to spin at extreme speeds while hopping after the aggressor as a last resort.

Magical abilities: The scarecrow can give off a passive aura that causes anxiety in those around it. If this does not work to ward off interlopers it can also release a concentrated wave of fear in a cone in front of it.

Usual Temperaments: Scarecrows are a protective species, usually staking out an territory and then defending it from all intruders. They prefer to set down stakes abandoned or remote human settlements, but have been known to appear in populated areas and drive away the properties owners using their anxiety aura. They do not like to move when being observed, and will only do so to preserve their own lives. It is said one can befriend a Living Scarecrow by braving its aura and beautifying the patch of land where its set down roots. Earning the Scarecrows loyalty may cause it to appear on your land and act as a loyal guard.

Locations Found: Northeast Twilight and any ghost towns in Nero.

Naked Laughing Octomole

Species name: The Naked Laughing Octomole, AKA the Smug Runner.

Food source: Roots and burrowing insects. Other rodents, lizards, or snakes occasionally.

Size: About the size and weight of a good sized otter.

Natural abilities: The Smug Runner and both a lightning fast runner and digger, able to burrow through the earth as though it were swimming through the water thanks to its tusks and eight rapidly working claws. Its teeth are amount the hardest of the rodent family, able to take a chunk out of most any predator. It is blind, but it compensates for this with excellent hearing, smell, and the ability to feel vibrations in the earth.

Magical abilities: None.

Usual Temperaments: Smug Runners are communal creatures and tend to travel in family groups of 6 to 9 individuals headed by a single matriarch. A supremely confident creature, they get their colloquial name from how close they are willing to let an enemy get before darting off or diving under the ground in the blink of an eye, letting out a distinct, bass, "huhuhuhuhuh" sound that can be easily mistaken for laughter. It actuality it is a warning cry to the rest of its family, and the Smug Runner will turn its impressive jaws on you in their defence. They are also gluttonous eaters, needing many calories to fuel their incredible bursts of speed, and so are often in conflict with human farmers.

Locations Found: All of Gaia, parts of Northern Tearia and Western Vrondi.

Weaknesses: Sound and seismic attacks. Spectral or ethereal foes that it can't sense.

Indubitable Snowman

Species name: Indubitable Snowman

Food source: Water.

Size: Small enough to fit in the palm of a human hand to four feet tall.

Natural abilities: Gives off a natural chill, and can move as fast as a man by sliding along the ground while leaving a trail of water. Doesn't seem to have any vital organs. While easily smashed apart, being made entirely of packed snow, if the snow is not melted it can easily reform itself. If snow is taken from the main body and kept separate without melting for a day and a night it will become another snowman.

Magical abilities: Ice magic, able to give off freezing winds and blow streams of snow from its mouth. Larger snowmen are able to create projectiles of ice they fire from their bodied, or an icy shell to help defend against attacks. As the snowman uses these attacks, it will become smaller.

Usual Temperaments: Indubitable Snowmen, who offer the nutritional value of snow and thus have no natural predators, are curious and lively creatures. It is not uncommon for humans to be surrounded and gawked at by these silent and keen eyed monsters. They will bounce around happily, attempting to entice the humans to play and romp merrily with them. This had led to people bring unintentionally led deep into the snowy wilderness during these games, and in places where they but up against human settlements children are told to never follow snowmen. Nevertheless, they remain popular with children and seem to treasure the adornments sometimes given to them. A snowman that has been adorned seems to rise quickly in the eyes of their fellows, often becoming leaders of their family groups.

Locations Found: The highest mountains of Tearia.

Weaknesses: Heat and fire. While it is possible for a Snowman to travel outside of a cold area one should always remember to keep it hydrated so as to offset the water and body mass lost due to extreme temperatures.

Quill Spitter

Species name: Quill Spitter

Food source: A carnivore

Size: The size of an adult gorilla.

Natural abilities: The Quill Spitter is covered on its face, arms, and back by large quills, as well as smaller quills mixed in with the purple hair covering its body. These quills are easily pulled out, but grow back in an afternoon. The quill Spitter gets its name from the quills around it's mouth area, which it can fire with remarkable accuracy. It's long arms muscular frame, along with it's claws, allow it to scale trees and tall rock peaks along with making it a formidable threat in melee.

Magical abilities: None

Usual Temperaments: A cautious opportunist, The Quill Spitter prefers to attack from long rage in order to minimize risk to itself. It will usually wait for prey in ambush from some high or hidden place, trying to kill with a single crippling shot to the neck or, for the older and more experienced Spitters, heart. Inexperienced or clumsy Spitters tent to pepper their target with quills and stalk their prey while it dies from blood loss, though this leaves them without a way to fight back against another Spitter should it stumble upon the kill. You see, their actual mouths are very small so although they can take game far bigger than themselves they eat very slowly meaning they must jealously guard their kill from other predators. Some even have the wherewithal to set traps, layering an area with old shed quills and scaring their prey into it, just so they will have a full stock of "ammunition" when they begin to eat.

Locations Found: The forests of Vrondi and Nero

Weaknesses: Their quills are hollow and hair like, making it easy to set them ablaze. They also can not hunt when it rain, as the quills become harder to fire when damp.

Species name: Wind Walker.

Food source: Omnivorous, favoring fruit and nuts that grow high in trees.

Size: Five to Seven feet tall, slightly lighter than a human being of equivalent height.

Natural abilities: Wind Walkers are thought to actually be species related distantly to squirrels, and the creatures great speed, agility, and balance attest to this. It's vertical leap is unparalleled amount creatures of its size, and it is able to scale trees easily by leaping from branch to branch.

Seemingly possessing a near human intelligence, it is able to comprehend complex commands and when brought into melee combat defends itself with martial arts.

Magical abilities: Wind Walkers get their name from their affinity for wind magic, using it to boost its physical abilities as well as launch wind gusts and cutting blades of air as attacks.

Usual Temperaments: Wind Walkers are not violent by nature, content to live out their lives in the very tops of trees. Indeed, they seem to prefer high places in general and will seek out the tallest point no matter where they are to make their home. Young Wind Walkers typically learn to arrest their falls using wind magic very early, and make games of plunging from the treetops as far as they can without touching the ground.

Wind Walkers perform elaborate dances in order to attract mates, the more fantastic and graceful the better. Walkers of both sexes will perform, and if a pair manage to impress one another they will become mates for life.

Locations Found: Gaia forests north of Pearl. South of Onyx near the river streams.

Species name: Quadrolisk

Common name: Shore Stalker

Food source: Meat

Size: when standing upright, large ones can grow to be eight feet tall, though they average just over six.

Abilities: High speed and strong capable limbs covered in hard chitinous plates it uses for digging and smashing objects. It has a strong and sharp bite making taking chunks of meat off quickly and efficiently. It can impale targets with the spear like ends of its tendrils, either together or separately. it will often stab with all its tendrils and then spread them apart to open up its prey for a quick kill. Its tendrils each have many spines that can retract into itself, each highly effective nerve poison that stuns its prey as well as clots its blood. it will use these spines to either capture its prey in its grasp, immobilize it for later, rend flesh from its opponent, or for extra grip with its tendrils. It has enough power in its tendrils to suffocate its prey or break it's bones.

Temperment: Shore stalkers don't tend to make much noise unless looking for a mate, as they tend to keep to themselves. They are mainly located around Nero bodies of water, mainly but not restricted to rivers and sandy beaches. They tend to burrow and hide in soft soils and sand, or swim in shallow waters during most the day, though they can sometimes use this tactic to surprise prey, erupting from the ground or jumping out from shallow water to latch on to their next meal. During the night, they are most active in hunting for food. They will often stalk their prey for periods of time, waiting for good moments to strike, or can even set up its own ambush. There are very few of these creatures and most believe them to be myths. Often used as a tale to keep kids away from shallow waters.

Species name: Moon Tyrant

Food source: The jewels dotting its body absorb moonbeams and ambient magical energy, converting it into energy.

Size: As tall and heavy as a two story building.

Natural abilities: The Tyrants crystalline chiton is not only hard as stone and resistant to attacks but sharp with many jagged edges it can use to attack.

Magical abilities: The jewels on the creatures body absurd moon energy and magical power, rendering magical attack almost completely useless. While it uses the energy it gathers for locomotion it can also deploy this energy in various ways. It can crate a barrier around its body, fire moon energy lasers from the natural cannons it has for hands, or unleash an omnidirectional laser barrage from the orbs located on its body.

Usual Temperaments: The Moon Tyrant is a fearsome creature, typically leaving only a mass of destruction in its travels through any populated area. Luckily a tyrant under normal circumstances can only be truly active on the night of a full moon, a time it will spend patrolling its territory and destroying anything that has entered it. While it can move on other nights when the moon is shining, its movements are sluggish and weary. The less moonlight there is, the less the tyrant can act.

Moon Tyrant's will always fight another creature it comes across, including other Moon Tyrants. These battle are terrifying to behold as the Tyrants' unable to damage one another with moon ray barrages as is typical, instead wade it to try and tear one on ether to pieces. These battles have the effect of scattering the ground with their precious jewels, and the battlegrounds are typically beset by prospectors on the next new moon looking to get rich off the bounty. This may be the reason the Moon Tyrant population has dropped off so sharply in the last few decades, as it is thought by some scholars that the lost jewels eventually germinate into more Moon Tyrants when left as they are.

Locations Found: The most remote parts of Northern Gaia.

Weaknesses: Seismic attacks can damage the jewels on its body where it stores its energy. It is completely immobile on the night of the new moon.

Qinlong

Its scales perfectly match strong vegetation.
Species name: Qinlong
Food source: Meat from lesser creatures it hunts in the jungles.
Size: Fifty Foot long, thick as horse. Weighs over 500 pounds.
Natural abilities: Immune to Poisons. Can cut down trees with a tail swipe or a slash of its claws. Can burrow with ease. Has strong sense of smell and eye sight. Heals quickly on its own. Can swim easily.
Magical abilities: It flies with ease. Can cast light and wind spells. Can control plants around it.
Usual Temperaments: A ferocious creature that prefers to stay hidden and stalk prey. When found it usually flies into a rage and attacks those unfortunate enough to locate it. An intelligent creature that prefers solitude.
Locations Found: Vrondi's thickest jungles. Thick forests near caves in Nero. Or near the river streams by the forests in Tearia.
