Hey there! I'm Raven, and I'm searching for a one-on-one partner whom I can explore some modern fantasy, traditional fantasy, and (post)apocalyptic themes with. Obviously most of my ideas deal with fantasy and the stuff of magic in some manner, and if that's the sort of thing you like, you've come to the right place. (っ˘ڡ˘ς)

Limits and Requests
Important information is color-coded for your convenience. ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ

Content. Language and violence are okay. No gore. If I had to put a movie rating, I'd say PG-13. If there's anything sexual in nature, it shouldn't be the focus of the plot, and it should be written in a subtle, euphemistic way or be faded to black. Otherwise, keep it in your pants, children.

Romance. Fine as long as it's natural and not forced. I have a preference for male/male relationships, but I'm open to other types of pairings. Fluffy stuff is nice and makes me pretty gushy.

Genres. I blend fantasy into many of my roleplays. Sometimes they're modern, sometimes they're entirely made-up worlds. Occasionally I'll do sci-fi, sci-fi and fantasy, and apocalyptic roleplays. Slice-of-life isn't always my thing, but if it's for romance, I'm up for it. So, recap: Modern, fantasy, sci-fi, apocalyptic, and slice-of-life with romance.

Writing. I expect at least a paragraph except in special cases. Beyond that, the sky's the limit as long as you're not taking up the space with lazy filler. High-school level development at minimum. You should have good grammar and spelling, but minor mistakes are okay.

Tenure. I'd love to make a new friend while doing this! We don't have to become incredibly close, but I'm open to friendship and long-term roleplay partners.

Plots and Cravings
These are just a few plots I've been interested in and some things I really want to do. Updated regularly, by the way! All of my plots are more or less furthered by our combined actions in the roleplay, so the direction in which they go depends on what we plan (whether far in advance or as we go).

High School Romance. A modern, slice-of-life, romance roleplay surrounding two characters and the development of their relationship.

Prince's Courier. A fantasy roleplay about a prince and his messenger. Largely focuses on their relationship in the context of the world they live in. May be romantic.

World Beyond. A sci-fi, fantasy roleplay with a completely fictional planet. You and I fill in the worldbuilding blanks together. Really a good option if you want to develop a new world from scratch.

Word of the Prophet. A modern, fantasy roleplay concerning a Messianic figure who has received divine gifts and his closest friend. Could potentially be romantic, could potentially be apocalyptic. Based around Gnostic belief systems.

Let me know either here or in a PM if you're interested. (See, I wasn't joking about the fantasy business.)
@Tancuras: Thanks for the heads-up. I wouldn't want to see this place die with as many players as we started with.
THE SUSPENSE...

Also, is anybody going to post soon? Gotta make sure we don't burn out early.
@BCTheEntity: WAIT! Is it Alex Jones?
@BCTheEntity: Darn. The rhetoric is pretty darn similar though. Who is it?
@BCTheEntity: I want to say it's TheAmazingAtheist. Am I right?

Within the next 20 minutes, three people entered the pork-shop: a clearly-stressed woman with long, curly hair and unwelcoming, blue eyes, a more-modest woman of similar stature and short, black hair, and a well-dressed man with dark blond hair and a cynical gaze. Not one of them was the friend Albrecht was waiting on, and each was far from it. The girl he sought was care-free, all garish and amiable, and childishly unassuming and yet adult altogether.

One TV mounted haphazardly on the north wall of the room showed CNN whose anchors currently were discussing the 2016 election trail and the Pope. A sports station on the other TV was presenting information about the Nationals and the Mariners. The rest of the shop was silent that nothing else could be heard except for journalists, harping about the significance of the Pope's visit just four days ago and the Bernie Sanders surge, or for commentators, speculating the outcome of the baseball games that would play later that evening. Idly Albrecht checked his phone again and looked out the storefront as if his reflection in the window would suddenly be replaced by his friend's presence. "14:50. September 29, 2015," his phone read. He'd been sitting there for roughly 15 minutes already, his food already cleaned from his tray and his drink half empty. Yes, she was especially tardy.

Speak of the devil, and light refracted across the room, the bell over the front door ringing its response. Lo and behold, she had arrived. The girl had tight skinny jeans and a black, Fall Out Boy tank top, and over it, she wore a loose, mint-green open cardigan with floral print. Her light brown hair fell below her shoulders, and her eyes were a medium blue. She had a long face, fair skin, and lips like pink roses in the fall, all of this coming from her Nordic ancestry. Albrecht called out to her in his high voice matter-of-factly. "Spät."

"What?" Nordic ancestry that obviously didn't reach her.

"I said, 'spät.' You know, German for 'late'?" Albrecht spoke as if she expected her to know, as if he was chiding her for a grave mistake.

She joined the brown-haired boy with the glasses. "Bitch," she said, slapping him on the face playfully.

"Whatever, Clarissa." Albrecht rolled up the sleeves of his dress shirt and crossed his legs, and he scowled at her in mock spite. He slid her food towards her across the table, and Claire sipped her favorite drink like it was holy water. Drumming his fingers on the table to the beat of a song only he knew, the young Hart asked, "What did you want to talk about, again?" She'd told him before that she had something interesting for them to do or talk about (or something like that, but Albrecht hardly remembered at this point), and the question was burning on his mind.
@BCTheEntity: Joe the Dickhead™

But don't worry, I like that you made him abrasive and insensitive. He's a pretty damn realistic character, and he's true to what some people actually buy into.

Albrecht would probably get into an argument with Joe, though.
@JohnSolaris: Oh, okay, cool!
So... are we going to move forward?
