Not having much time to think she slips back with a fluid motion again just barely in time before its foot clumsily clawed after her stomach. A slight nick in her clothing under her bosom is cut. Reflexively she covers her chest with one arm. Thankfully the cut wasn't deep enough to cut her skin. The grotesque beast falls still being held by her kido.
"Thankfully he didn't strike a little higher..." She says quietly to herself. "You are quick little buggers aren't you? But not too bright..." Her voice trails off as she starts weaving again. She had thought to start with the lowest bakudo and move up from there but the first one was successful but the limitations of the kido were too short for her liking. "Bakudo #4 Hinawa!" From her hands a yellow crackling rope like essence shoots from her outstretched hand attempting to entangle the hollow to fully restrict its movements.
"Do you want me to capture it alive?" She asks curiously to Nemuri.
Personality: She is first and foremost an observer. Secondly she is a recorder. She being involved in combat but is drawn to it. She will ask several questions when something interests her but mostly she goes off of what she can directly observe. She tends to be overly serious. Her quill and paper never seem to leave her hands as she is always drawing a diagram or scripting a lengthy description of something. She records the history that happens around her as well as inventions and even weather patterns.

Abilities: She has an eidetic memory which comes in handy for her writing. She can write with both hands at the same time on two different things. She is a talented artist who is able to recall things from memory with great detail and then draw them flawlessly. She is also a polyglot who can speak numerous languages and can learn a new language in 1-2 weeks depending on its difficulty. She has some martial prowess but physically she is weak proportional to her size. She has a fruit though she keeps it a secret if possible. She has the "shrink-shrink no mi" which allows her to shrink down far smaller than her actual size and of course return to her normal size. It doesn't allow her to become bigger than her original size and her physical strength will be proportional to her new form.
Weapons: She has no real weapons to speak of but she does have a special bag that was infused with an unknown fruit that allows it to store far more items of greater size than it appears to be able to hold (its a bag of holding basically). Though the size inside is still limited it is far far larger than what it appears to be.
Techniques: Avoid and evade is her main tactic. She is good at dodging her opponents and escaping if necessary. She can shrink down with her clothing and what she can carry (but not another person or living material). At her smallest she can shrink down to about the size of a mouse. She is better suited for tactics and reading an opponent.
Other: Just adding this to mention her owl Artemis . Its a normal owl with high intelligence and it is in some ways her familiar. It seems to understand human speech but obviously cannot respond. She can send letters via the owl. He is an important friend.

She is 145 cm tall (4'9) and proportionally light. She is 16 years old and has a bit of a complex about how she hasn't "filled out" into her ideal body shape and is beginning to worry. So she says her height is 5'3 because if you count her ears and her
thats a bout how tall she is.
Background: (will update more on this) Menagerie is her hometown. She comes from a long line of fox faunus. She is the only child and has inherited her family's naginata techniques.
Her family runs a shrine in Menageire for the god of light. She comes from a family of priestesses but she doesn't have any real desire to settle down and worship. She would rather have an adventure. Thus she set out to become a huntress against her mother's wishes. Her father was a human man and she has never met him. All she has of him is a picture she found of a man with her mother from before she was born. When she confronted her mother about the picture she was told to never bring it up again. However her rebellious side is strong and so she still has the photo with her as she goes around with her huntress duties.
When she heard about this mist/fog that is turning people to grim she felt a call to action. She hoped that her semblance would be of some use in trying to find someone who knew where this mist was coming from. She has seen the effects first hand and she fled. This shame of fleeing and knowing the others didn't survive haunts her.
Weapon: Her naginata. It is her family's traditional weapon. It doesn't transform but the bulky slot just behind the blade holds dust and she can fire 8 dust shots from the tip of the polearm underneath the blade. However she usually uses purple dust to create a flame that assists her in damaging the Grimm she wishes to destroy as well as disorientate people.
Semblance: Telepathy. She works best in a team and a team works best with her. She can link up telepathic bonds with people to make a 2 way radio-like connection. She can string multiple of these together to make a web of communication possible between a team. However the more people in it the harder it becomes to maintain. Also the distance plays a key role. She is pretty clear for about a mile out. Further than that it gets hazy. If she makes a telepathic bond with someone and it isn't broken but simply goes out of range all one needs to do is come back into range for them to re-connect.
She can pick up some surface thoughts of those around her if she listens intently. To those not actively attempting to hide their thoughts from her and are sufficiently near her will give off their general emotional state as well as vague terms of what is going on. For example if someone is worried about a test she will understand that they are anxious/worried and may hear terms such as "test" "math" "teachers name" "different profanities" but not complete sentences. It can also be misleading such as if someone is afraid they left the oven on she will sense "fear' and may hear things like "fire" "homelessness" ect. She would have to do some detective work to put together what the hell they meant.
Although, some battle ability is preferred, so that the character doesn't fall into the trap of always needing to be rescued, both types could be played. So, feel free to submit whichever you prefer.
Will do sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. I just had an idea of a scholar rather than a fughter. Maybe i can give her a fruit to rely on.
Hmm. Im thinking of putting in a character but the concept i have in mind would be a non combative character. Would thay go well or should i majr a character with some grit?
