INDOMITABLE FORCE

Many people know of the famed Jedi and their rivals, the dreaded Sith,
who keep fighting eachother with their glow sticks and their palm pointing.
Equally notorious are the smugglers, who are basically thrift store employees
and the bounty hunters with guns that go pew pew and and ships that go wrewwww.

Few know of the true heroes of the universe, the unsung champions of
civilization and order. The enforcers of law and carriers of citations.
Defenders of the meek and handicapped, the fearless purveyors of municipal funds.
This is the story of the indomitable force known as Intergalactic Guild of Parking Attendants
and today, YOU become the hero. Suit up, grab a pen and your pad of citations
because its time to take on the world!

While I know this is going to take off like hot cakes, we have to limit the number of players to 12. 2 players will be allowed to start out as seasoned veterans while the rest will be forced to take on a rookie who has had less than a week on the job.

Keep your backstories as detailed as possible as it will be very important to the game. All species are accepted. You can play as a Jedi or a Sith, but understand that you are not going to be swinging glow sticks. You might get to swing a night stick and possibly use pepper spray.

Seems to be enough interest, which is good. I'll go ahead and get to work. Once I get it together, spots will be limited. Will come up with the most impartial system I can to fill spots. In any case, I'll be sure to tag anyone who has expressed interest here once I've got it all together.

Now is your chance... Put on your sleuthing hats and join us as 7* strangers come together just as a murder is committed.
You're trapped with this vile person (or persons) and must figure out who the killer is before you all die! Who's up for a mystery?

This is a forum-based Murder Mystery Party where 7* players will be accepted in, all with predetermined roles and character background information. There will be no original characters, just assigned roles that you will have to fill. After a secret ballot among players in the form of private messages directly to me, we will determine who would like the chance at being a killer and that role will be assigned to the willing.

For these murder mystery dinners, there are countless scripts online for how to play these with different themes and the like. If there is interest in playing this sort of game, I will create an IC thread and announce the first theme as soon as possible. Specific rules to each game will be explained once we get enough support to make an official game worth the effort of execution.

These games would reportedly take about 2 - 4 hours if performed in person, so I imagine the runtime will stretch out a bit more in text form. Regardless, there is a defined beginning and a defined end and this will not drag out indefinitely like a lot of other games.

Let me know if you're interested in this and I will start converting Murder Mystery scripts into a form that will translate to a message board. Thanks!

Rex traded a glare between the girl and the disarmed man. The man's story was a tough pill to swallow. Maybe he was telling the truth, maybe he wasn't... but if his version of things was that he got bested and outsmarted by a little girl then he probably deserves to be a victim, Rex decided. At the girl's beckoning, Rex gave King a nod and the two moved in unison, letting the girl take a slight lead.

Another woman, Rex thought, recalling the little girl's mention of a mother. Another potential mouth to feed. This new world they found themselves living in had brought out the pessimist in him. He tried to skew his outlook, look at the brighter side. Maybe they already had supplies. Maybe they've got a system for sustainability. It was worth checking out.

The dog slowed his pace and allowed a rumbled growl to escape his teeth. Rex looked to the little girl and made a quiet, but stern command: "Stop." The biters were closing in on the sound of the gunshots from before. Rex knew their approach was inevitable, but he was hoping it would be slower... that they'd have more time to get where they were headed. With the bow still in hand, Rex readied a new bolt and pointed it toward the ever growing sound of the undead, anticipating their gross, decaying faces to come around the corner at any moment.

"Little Bit, y'know a diff'rent way to get to your mama?" Before she could answer, Rex looked back at the crippled bearded man and tried to decide if he cared enough to offer the man aid. Surely he wouldn't be able to walk right and his shoulder was already significantly damaged by the bolt from before. Truthfully, the most merciful thing Rex could do at this point was to finish what he started before the ghouls found their feast. Rex's stare was cold, his eyes unblinking before he ultimately came to his decision. Not worth the ammo.

Since Belle is taking a day, I'm delaying my departure. I might get hit with inspiration. I'm in her same boat where I don't really want to post for the sake of posting, but would rather have something productive being introduced. So, for now, I an UnQuitting, lol.
