Also, my intro post will have him already established as the "Head of Security", and I assume that everyone has been on the Ark for at least 10 years prior to the start of the story?

@Ellion Looks good, i'd just ask you to adjust the formatting a bit so it looks cleaner. Bold the headers (name, age etc.) and delete things you didn't fill out (Other traits). After you do that you can move it to the Characters tab.

@Stekkmen Yes, Protectors are soldiers who work on the ship. You'll probably spend your time manning some of the easier-to-use weapons, and going on ground expeditions to planets we come across. Otherwise, your CS looks good to me, I'd just note the Farseers Guild doesn't really reach out (which is why it surprised Milos so much), but there was an advertisement and an application that could be submitted.
