Look at all these glorious, long RPs that I can't edge into
Bio
So, you've found yourself staring at this with a blank as hell expression on your face because internal monologue is a bitch. That aside, you want to know a little about me, don't you?
I've roleplaying on and off for the lesser part of three years, maybe 6 months out of the year where I actually do things. My origins trace to Xat (a chatbox site) and, more recently, Google Plus. Yes, people, there is a roleplay scene on Google Plus. There's a scene everywhere.
A situation. Like this one--- oh. Wait. Can't do that here.
I tend to prefer moderate to full detail paragraph roleplay. I particularly enjoy those with adventure/action themes, mystery, dark/angst, horror, fantasy, Eastern story plots (Japan, China, Thailand, etc), and science fiction. I'm looking to hone my battle roleplay as of late, so that's what I'll be out doing along with lurking on various other RPs.
Fleet-footed could be used to describe the mannerisms and pace of the runner. Feet never seeming to quite touch the ground, this person seemed to move with the very speed of the wind itself, navigating from tree to stone with an uncanny ease. The dark tones and shades of their clothing seemed to merge with the foliage and underbrush of the woods itself, its fabric of many varying tones created just for that purpose.
The body was slight, and from the height alone one could have mistaken the runner for a child. What would a child be doing patrolling the Eastern woods, the gods only knew. The insignia of the Scout Honoria of the Empire was distinguishable on the forearm, a silver plate mounted on a leather strip that was tied in a manner that would compel it to stay. The face was all but invisible under the shadow of a cowl. For all her discreet proceedings, however, Atticus knew that there could only be one reason for the dispatch of the entire unit. Things had been hostile lately, and not just in traditional sense. War was impending. There was always war. But it was a stirring of rebellion and treason that began to shake the guard at its roots.
Her orders had been simple. No one was getting in. No one was getting out.
@NoobCW Lol, sorry, m8. Still green around the edges here. Anyways, time for more silly questions.
Is there no post order? Should I just launch straight into a post then? From reading through, it seems everyone is about to head out and transition someplace new.
Appearance: A young woman of rather austere personality, Atticus's appearance is notable for her jet black hair, pale skin, and amber eyes. Several piercings dot her ears and she will typically wear a thin but wide bracelet of gold on her right hand.
Gender: Female.
History:
Born to a couple of archivalists that lived in a small flat in the capital city, Atticus showed an affinity for basic element control that landed her in an academy with the sole purpose of creating suitable units of soldiers of every occupation. While away from her home, she grew more silent and introverted. Despite this, she did relatively well in field work which eventually led to her being trained as a rookie in one of the scouting units dispatched across the enemy and satellite nations.
Nation: The Empire.
Weapon/Skills:
Magnus 6.3
One of the premium products of the Magnus series, the 6.3 fuses the best of Empire technology for use particularly by electric magic users. These gauntlets fit over the hand in a relatively sleek grey skin with a red base plate. Scales present can expand or contract by distinguishing different flares of energy sent by the user. They serve to channel these bursts of energy and enhance them.
In general, as a scout, Atticus is notable for her speed, agility, reaction time, ability to take a punch, and to pack one as well.
Magic Affinity:
A user of electric magic, Atticus is able to exploit the properties of electricity from lightning to static. This gives her an amount of influence over technology as well.

"Empire: The largest country of the mainland, as well as the most hostile. The Empire is well known for combining magical technology & scientific technology, making it the most powerful nation of the mainland. The Empire consists of floating lands as well as the surrounding conquered areas of various biomes like forest, rivers, lakes, deserts, etc."
Pardon me for my newness around here, but I have a question since I'd like to join in.
Taking that portion of the background into account, would it be possible to have a character that uses gauntlets that have an armored function? A character that also uses electricity? Or should I be using one of the 5 classic elements?
