Ah. Alright. So, Tachibana will just meet with this character before classes start out in a courtyard or something? Sorry if I'm dragging my feet here. Haven't usually come in this late for an RP.

@Conquer All Yes, she is stil locked up. She's waiting for others to come bail her out. Technically, she's with the rebels but she doesn't really stick to one alignment religiously. For the sake of the RP, she's set as a rebel.

I guess I'm the new guy, m8. Alright, so I'll work on squeezing Tachibana in there. Sorry for my spaced out replies. Been a bit busy as of late. I'll usually check boards either first thing in the morning or later night.

Can I get a brief summary of what's going on? From what I've sifted through, everyone's more or less met up and Tachibana will just be assimilated when they all reach the university.

Appearance

Appearance: Tachibana's appearance is caught somewhere between a child's and punk rocker's. Apart from rolling out of bed (not on all days), brushing her teeth, and taking a shower, the young woman does little else to promote her appearance.

Her ink black hair is cut short to avoid hassle although traces of dark blue hair dye can be seen from various years of highlights and other colorful ventures. Sloppy bangs obscure her eyes when sunglasses do not, although they are an alarmingly watery tawny color, like coffee heavily thinned by milk due to a childhood bout of fever that left Tachibana blind save for the murkiest perception of shadow and light. Her skin is rather pallid from the amount of time she spends indoors and is usually smudged with a stray nick or bruise.

She stands at just 154 cm, making seem to be a rather passive or non - threatening figure but her file in the police database places her as being involved in several brawls. Despite being extremely scrawny and wiry, she posses a lean and hardened physique. Her crude tendencies and her toughened, usually sloppy appearance often have her mistaken for a boy, which Tachibana doesn't seem to correct often.

Biography

Born to two schoolteachers in Tokyo, Saho Tachibana enjoyed a relatively normal life even during the first years of the Fourth Dimensional scare. Following her encounter with meningitis at the age of six, Tachibana has all but completely lost her sight. She is able to distinguish light from the dark and motion, but she cannot see definite shapes or colors.

It was soon afterwards that she began to develop an uncanny set of hearing faculties. With it came some startling stories that she told her parents. Convinced that her fantastic stories -- one of them being of a bizarre entity that otherworldly beings referred to as the all mighty Fourth Dimensional toe cheese-- would result in her being killed or kidnapped by the government or private research sector, they quickly scared her into keeping silent about her tendencies. They explained her sudden quietness as another effect of her childhood illness.

At around age ten, Tachibana made a startling discovery as she began to attend her local dojo to begin training under her aunt, a local Goju Ryu karateka. She quickly noticed that every time she became frustrated, a burst of inexplicable color began to bloom at her hands and feet, sometimes even covering portions of her body in a second skin. Being blind at this stage in her life, she found these colors to be beyond the normal colors she had seen when she was still very young. While this would not affect the other children she practiced with, she still does not understand their properties.

In order to better isolate herself, Tachibana attends college classes online and rarely leaves her apartment. She is a certified interpreter and works translating documents from her apartment on a freelance basis. It makes an income that is decent enough for her to survive and enjoy a few comforts.

Subject PKS 234-A remained in a silver lined isolation unit, the designated containment protocol for her followed in an almost religious fashion. There was never to be any light in the unit. There was never to be an object exceeding a weight of 3 pounds and a duress of over 4. 2 on the 10.0 Yamaguchi scale created specifically for PKS subjects. There was never to be anything with a protruding end or sharpened point with the isolation cube. There was never to be loose paper or books within the isolation cube. Subject PKS 234-A was to never be housed in anything other than an isolation cell lined with silver, padded with seamless carbon fiber down. This cell must never exceed a space of ten meters by ten meters and never be smaller than five meters by five meters.

Previous cell prototypes included a gravity sphere and a cell left hanging from the wall. Both proved to be dismal failures as the slightest hint of motion generated could be manipulated by PKS 234. Such instances resulted in the destruction of lab facilities and the taking of many lives. For the most part, PKS 234 was sentient and responded to communications by the lab staff. In exchange for cooperation, they would inform PKS 234 of the results and findings of current research. PKS 234 seemed to be extremely neutral during interactions and answered questions exactly to the letter, never divulging less or more than what was asked. PKS 234 seemed to show little remorse for the harming of human life after an episode at the chronological age of 6.

PKS 234 had an extensive record of escape attempts that quite contradicted its passive nature when extracted from its cell. Up until age 10, PKS 234 was rather docile with its researchers and would even play with them, albeit without saying anything beyond a few words. At age 11, PKS 234 displayed its first organized and intentional escape attempt. PKS 234 was less than 300 feet from the exit when shot down with a silver slug from a sniper rifle by containment personnel. Three months later, in the fifth escape attempt, PKS 234 intentionally killed research staff and containment staff, although a curious phenomenon had occurred. PKS 234 displayed a tendency to avoid killing any women around a height of 165 centimeters with short, black hair. The majority of these women were of Japanese descent.

More violent escape attempts ensued, a total of 76 documented and countless others undocumented because PKS 234 did not actually attempt to escape the facilities, but would instead roam and occasionally contact other subjects or staff. PKS 234 did not display aggressive tendencies, so it was allowed to roam. Attempt to place trackers on it failed. Attempts to implant trackers failed. Negotiations to allow them to plan a route and free time for PKS 234 failed. In essence, staff is reduced to pleading and negotiating with PKS 234. PKS 234 roams freely at night despite constant security measures being installed to detect where PKS 234 is or is heading. Or how it escapes its cells.

PKS 234 is also referred to as Atticus Fray, a name PKS 234 bestowed upon herself. PKS 234 is of the female sex, in the late most years of adolescence, and is of a distinctly Eurasian racial background. Her skin is fair, her hair is long and black, and her eyes a green. PKS 234 is known to prefer wearing seamless clothing, and usually wears solid black trousers, sandals, and long sleeved shirts. PKS 234 is attracted to the color green.

Atticus Fray, PKS 234 waits in her cell, sitting in the centermost area of her isolation platform. She is wearing long black cargo pants, black sandals, and a long sleeved black shirt. The grey thick strap of a sports function brassiere is visible over the collar bone. She stares rather blankly at the opposing wall. She is waiting to be freed in accordance with an agreement she made with other subjects within the facility. While she could escape this cell on her own, in theory, it exerts too much strain and forces sickness that will not depart until after she has been outside of the silver plating for at least 30 minutes. For now, Atticus Fray waits for her fellow resistance members. Atticus has no righteous cause, no real reason to want to rebel save for the fact that she is not enthralled or entertained by the facility any longer.

Otherwise known by her identifier PKS 234, this female has been given the name of ATTICUS FRAY , derived from the name of a packing company located on the crates that distributed shipments of methamphetamines which were used to quell subjects (Fray Works, Inc.) and the name of her favorite character from "To Kill A Mockingbird." Atticus is a young woman with black hair, relatively pale skin, and green eyes.

At an estimated 18 YEARS OF AGE , it is distinguishable from Atticus's records that she has never seen light outside of the facilities. Her birth and conception were derived from within the facility itself. As a result, Atticus belongs to one of three critical series of first generation lab babies, completely bred and trained by scientists of her division. Atticus has never known any outside world save for the one described to her by other subjects and, occasionally, scientists who pitied her and their jobs.

Atticus is quite a calm, almost introverted individual but is known to have an unapologetic rationality and honesty. While prone to mimicking complacency, it is prominent in her file that she will resort of violence when presented the opportunity and has made many quick, brutal, and precise escape attempts which consistently come closer and closer to actually achieving escape.

Atticus speaks at least three languages, Japanese, English, and Spanish being the primary languages used by the researchers in the PKS division.

Atticus was born within the facility itself and has not left knowingly. In fact, she has been shunted between more remote facilities located in the lesser chain islands, but it is known that she was heavily sedated or completely unconscious during the duration of these trips.

Her hopes of escape and ALIGNMENT WITH THE REBEL MOVEMENT actually come from one of the scientists within the facility who indirectly helped her numerous escape attempts. It was subsequently discovered this woman was intentionally cutting corners to create escape conditions for Atticus wasn't even allowed entry into the department due to a black mark in her file. She was made to disappear as a result, and Atticus never saw the woman again. From her understanding, the woman was a Japanese genetic chemist. It was this cruelty that inspired Atticus to continue pursuing her escape attempts and attacks against the lab facilities, resulting in her being classified as highly volatile. Her books were restricted. Her toys were restricted. Her food and were utensils restricted. Her television and games were restricted.

Atticus's appearance is distinctly Eurasian, prompting the common belief that at least one of her parents was one of the Japanese researchers involved in the PKS department.

Kinetic manipulation (in its simplest terms) is the manipulation of all things in motion. By wresting control of the kinetic force necessary to perform simple acts, Atticus can greatly amplify or decrease the force behind any motion to her benefit. Atticus can also redirect any object in motion by altering its center of gravity and diverting it to another location. Atticus can also redirect objects, energy bursts, and attacks back to their senders or source with lesser, equal, or more force. This means she could repel essentially any forced blunt attack or manipulate people in motion, or she can simply negate their kinetic energy output altogether to force objects into a state of complete stillness. Of course, each action requires an amount of concentration and energy expenditure. Atticus's primary mode of attack is to sabotage people in the act of reaction, a common approach she used in her numerous lab escapes. She will also use objects people are carrying to restrain them and, in some cases, even kill them.

It is known that silver can drastically dampen these effects, although it must be placed directly on her person to take effect. Once the silver's properties are leeched, the metal tarnishes and breaks off. Atticus is left in a temporary state of sickness, usually regaining her mental faculties within half an hour. She tends to be more quiet, more level headed, and, as a result, more prone to savagery.

At this instance, Atticus had not attempted to hide herself from view but instead stood in the open and in the wake of the tree had struck down. Her light boots barely made a dent in the soil for all her force and her arms were crossed loosely over her chest, now more evident from its sofer shape and form that this was a female. A young one. While she still didn't reveal her face from beneath the shadow of the black mail cowl she bore, her voice with its light, almost smoke-like lingering cemented the growing perception of her sex.

"I am under orders to not allow anyone to enter the critical checkpoints save for those bearing patents of nobility or assignment from the nobles or Guard itself. If you possess either I now suggest you make them visible and throw them over here. I'll return them if they are legitimate."

From her words it seemed that she was not going to allow for herself to be set into a disadvantage. She was not provoking a fight, but rather, the young woman was looking to avoid one.
