Alright, so the fireworks guy caught fire last night. I'll admit that I laughed a bit, but only because the idiot didn't know what to do. Everyone was shouting different things like, "stop, drop, and roll!" or "Take your clothes off!" or "get a bucket of water!" or "take your clothes off!" again. This one woman was really adamant about him taking off his clothes. After about a minute, someone grabbed one of the coolers and dumped it over him. He was covered in sodas, alcohol, which I'm surprised didn't burn him even more, and icy cold water. It was extremely amusing to say the least.
Ooh, just found another legitimate complaint about the Advanced section. They never post IC. Just checked out one that was started like a year back, is still going today, only 56 posts. Are you kidding me? Though the OOC had an impressive 666 posts, which I chuckled a bit at. If you told me "hey, we want you to make 20 paragraph long posts, but only do them every 20 days," I'd instantly turn you down. I RP to RP, not to make unnecessarily long posts, and talk about dank memes in the OOC. Maybe this is why the 1X1 section is starting to boom?
No idea why I did the math on this, but in the casual section, you have an 80% chance of your RP succeeding and at least moving past the interest check phase. How long it lasts past that is up to the GM and RPers, although casual roleplays inevitably die out faster than advanced section stuff.
With advanced roleplays, only 70% of roleplays move on from interest checks. While you could say this is just a testimony of how only good roleplays are able to get through, let's keep in mind the fact that most of that 70% is roleplays where everyone takes an incredibly long time to post, and everyone posts either dank memes in the OOC, or they're all going "whose turn is it? Whose turn is it?" And not even really interacting with each other.
No spoilers eh? Obi-wan is Ben Kenobi.
Yaaaaay! Happy Fourth of July people! My local theatre is doing half-off so guess what that means? Watching Inside Out for the fourth time, on the fourth of July. The timing couldn't be better!
