Who me? I grew up with Pokemon, probably the origins of my love for gaming. I've played each generation as they come out, I'm not massively into the stats, behaviours, STAB etc but I understand most of it, particularly type match ups and the like. I literally just tend to go through each game and catch the coolest looking fuckers I can find, turn them into a team of badasses, and win the Pokemon League.
Did not know that. I'm not into the competitive scene, and don't really like the nature's because they only increase stats. My idea for them is that they gain additional effects, even in words only to reflect stat change, like a hasty Charmander getting faster ifnsent out in battle first. Shit like that.
I usually make a team before the game comes out. Like X, I knew I wanted Aegislash, Pangoro or Blaziken, Tyranatum, and Greninja, and Novivern, and Talonflamr.
I'm doing a run of Omega Ruby using exclusively six Pokemon gained via wonder trade.
The first three were gotten during my initial play through, all still level one, some with bred moves, similar to Charmander who knows Flare Blitz.
Also wonder trading is the best thing ever.

I'm a fan of Venipede, mainly for Scolipede though. I've always wanted to use a big bug, however would have preferred Drapion.

You guys get to pick which three will join my Riolu, NoiBat, Shinx lineup. Goomy can also be written in.
Some were re-rolled. Because I hate panpour and scatterbug. And I was WT'd Fletchlings evolution. Also to get a somewhat decent line up without them being overpowered.
So far I have:

Level 1 Serious Venipede
Level 1 Lax Charmander
Level 27 Serious Swablu
