Indigo woke up and sat up to survey his surroundings, he saw that the majority of the students were still sleeping. “I guess everyone got too excited and fell asleep a bit later.” He looked to his side to notice Lupe sleeping near him, “How'd he even find me amongst all the other students?” He scratched his head as he finally got up to get changed before getting stopped by someone. It was Professor Pewter, “Did I get in trouble? Did someone tell you I was an accomplice to something? I swear I just met -” She cut him off and told him to meet at Beacon Cliff at 10 before walking away. “Am I getting punished?” he sighed as he took a mental note of the meeting.
After the little confrontation, Indigo felt a bit uneasy but shrugged it off as he changed into a new outfit. In his new not-stained-clothes. he walked out the halls to be met with a slowly rising sun. Taking a deep breath of air, he proceeded to walk around the campus to pass the time, hoping not to run into any trouble before 10.
Soon enough, after all his walking he headed towards Beacon Cliff.
As Indigo was lined up with all the other students his first thoughts was, “Really? How are we ALL in trouble?” recognizing some familiar faces amongst the students such as the boy who pushed him away from the explosion, the boy and girl who were unaffected by it, and of course Lupe and Kay. As soon as the headmaster announced that he was going to be one of the first of the new students to take a test, his tension dropped. “Oh. It's just a test.” He thought to himself as he listened to the headmaster before she stopped and plucked a hair off a girl with a red hood “Was there a reason...for that?”.
As she further explained the test, the only thing Indigo could think of was if he could just not partake in such a dangerous trial, but the aura around the headmaster kind of diminished his thought as he could only imagine what she was capable of doing to him if he objected. He sighed as went over the objectives in his head and tried to think of what he should exactly be doing in such a test. Survival was probably the top objective for him.
He was brought back from his thoughts as the headmaster snapped and a white circle appeared below teleporting him to the abandoned city.
“Dark.” He thought as he opened his eyes to the scene before him. The area was rather cramp as well and he couldn't exactly tell where he had been transported to. “Did she make a mistake?” as he stretched out both his arms to surprisingly find that he could touch both sides of the room. It was like he was trapped in a small box. “I knew I was in trouble. That headmaster is probably laughing at me from somewhere right now. And I seriously thought that I was going to take a test.” He sighed as he tried to feel his surroundings, his hand met with a rather familiar feeling. “Porcelain? ” he thought as he pushed down on the porcelain to heard a slight crack followed by a few more cracks foreshadowing upcoming trouble for the poor student.
As his eyes adjusted to the darkness he instantly realized where he had been sent to. A run down bathroom with large amounts of dust covering the porcelain toilet and sink, along with a extremely dusty mirror with a decorated wooden border. It was hard to tell how the walls were decorated and what was spread over the floor. The sound of more crackling started to rapidly fire off in the room, he quickly looked around the ground of the toilet as deep cracks began to form on the floor of the bathroom. “Wouldn't that mean I'm on an upper floor of a building? I guess I wasn't in trouble she just teleported me to a rather strange location” Quickly realizing that if the section of the building were to fall, he could expect dozens of Grimm coming to inspect the source of the sound.
”Cool!”
His eyes widened at the sound and volume of the familiar voice under him. Within the few cracks that gave him a small view of the street below, he recognized the girl who had seemed to be unaware of what she had done. “I'll be sure to remember you Kaesi-” as he was trying to pronounce her name he accidentally bit his tongue causing the young student to accidentally let out what he thought was a light stomp. As the room he was in began to rumble once more letting in more vision of the street below.
Three Beowolves came out to face the young girl and rather than running she stood fast and slammed her weapon onto the street as if to challenge them. The center Beowolf made an attempt to lunge her as she simply dodged it and punished the creature fatally as the sound of the blow resonated through the empty streets. He also noticed if he were to disconnect the weakened parts of the bathroom from the building he could land on top of one of the Beowolves but the idea didn't sound too appealing to him at the moment.
One of the remaining Beowolves let out a loud howl, Indigo instantly knew the purpose of such a howl and quickly with no hesitation slammed onto the weakened wall of the restroom with all his strength dragging a small chunk of the abandoned bathroom's floor along as well. He landed on top of the Beowolf that was originally calling for reinforcements, the sound of the landing was rather gruesome as the body of the Beowolf was flattened from the impact. Indigo stood up from the rubble sustaining no injuries from such an action since he deployed a bit of his aura to reinforce his defense. More and more Beowolves appeared from thick brushes between the buildings as if answering to the call of their fallen comrade.
He looked at the girl, who was probably his partner now. He was rather interested with her fighting style, but that kind of stuff should be stored in the back of his head for now. It was either time to fight or retreat from such a rather large group of Beowolves. “Trouble. I'd prefer we run, Kay. If we could.” He said to the girl behind him as he slowly crept back from the group of creatures.
Pass or Die.
“I guess she really meant it.” He thought to himself as the numbers of Beowolves keep on growing.
