Polity: Cardassian Free State.Ship: .Ship Name: Adira.Ship Status: 'Good'.Captain: Gul Almor Karn.Species: Cardassian. Bio (optional):The Adira has been in service with the Cardassian Union, years before the war with the Federation. For the most part, the ship nary saw much of battle, even during the war. The Adira and her Captain always found themselves away protecting something of import, and never near the battle. That was until a certain Legate, decided his alliance with the Dominion had done too far. The Cardassians were a practical people, and the Dominion were just cruel and sadistic, When the call came for the Cardassians to raise up against there Dominion overlords, Karn heard there call and sprung into action. With three other vessels under the Legate's banner, Karn managed to drive out the small force of Dominion vessels which protected the planet of Osornous, which had once housed a hundred million citizens of the Union. During there escape, the Dominion forces introduced a deadly nerve agent into the atmosphere, while there Jem'Hadar attack dogs slaughtered everyone.Karn and his other ships tuck as many survivors as possible, until there was no more space to be had. Even then, he had only saved a bare handful of the planet's population. tens of millions died, and all he could do was watch. He and his small fleet, were massively out-matched when an Dominion Dreadnaught came into the system to finish the job. The four ships turned tail and ran, unable to ever reach there brothers in arms, they decided to escape to the rapidly crumbling Federation. Enemies or not, they were his, and what remained of his peoples hope for survival. By the time they had reached the Federation, the dominion had managed to destroy all but his ship, a mere three thousand survivors from Osornous now remained.

Approved and good to go. Post in IC when ready, and there is already a hail waiting for you I believe.

I may well post myself soon too.
Sep said I don't think I'd manage a reboot. It was your original Idea you can probably do it better now you have re-appeared.

Don't bet on it. And it nearly died early on if you recall it was only down to luck it got past Coruscant and then I had to plan like crazy.
Sep said Trying to decide if I want to prolong this thing and keep it going.

Why not do a reboot, but instead of us all starting over Coruscant, a risky gambit as it means lots of interaction very early on which can sometimes kill an RP. I have had that happen before. Perhaps allows us a small flotilla, maybe 2-3 ships, and we can start anywhere? It means will actually arrange to meet up at planets and make plans together.
Okay, I've got the IC up, but not sure whether to start you all off at the same place or separately so you can all meet up.
The failure of Operation Return and the loss of most, if not all of the assault fleet hit morale hard, and would continue to be hit hard in the days to come. After Operation Return there was the loss of over five hundred klingon and Federation ships at the Battle of Starbase 357. Then there was the defeat of Chancellor Gowron's "Grand Armada" over Qo'nos, and the genocide of the Klingon people. The breaking point came when a fleet of cloaked battlecruisers from the till then neutral Breen Confederacy ambushed and burned the 1st Fleet within five minutes, and the Dominion marched on Earth itself.

That last thing heard from the Federation was Admiral Picard's quadrant-wide order of Case: Burning Citadel. The order for all Starfleet ships to scatter, to run as far as they could and ensure that some part of the Federation survived. Nothing has been heard from Admiral Picard or his 19th Fleet since then.

Since then nothing's been heard but unconfirmed rumors. Apparently Gul Dukat was discovered conspiring with the Romulans and has been executed. Damar is now the leader of the Cardassian Empire and the Romulan Empire is being crushed by the might of the Dominion. Any day now you expect to hear of Romulus' fall.

You have gathered in a nebula with sensor dampening properties. Despite being in unclaimed space between the pre-war Federation, the Klingon Empire, and the Cardassians you're safe from patrols because of how far you are from the frontlines. As far as you know you represent the last of your respective navies and have gathered in this temporary haven to discuss what to do next.

So, what's next, captain?

Polity: United Federation of PlanetsShip: Ship Name: USS Cerberus NX-60761Ship Status: PristineCaptain: Sala TyrSpecies: Trill/Bajoran Hybrid (Joined)Bio: Sala was recuperating on an Olympic Class hospital ship after having both legs amputated and undergoing both physiotherapy and counseling for her Biosynthetic limb replacements. On the day she was to leave she asked to become an emergency host for the Tyr symbiont. Shortly after she was given command of the Cerberus.Ship Bio: After the first ship of the Prometheus Class was taken over by Romulans and successfully saved by Mark I & Mark II Emergency Holographic Doctors there began a serious discussion in certain circles as to whether or not a ship could be crewed by an almost entirely holographic crew. Since the Promethous Class was built with holoemitters on every deck they chose a ship of that line to become the test bed ship. Cerberus was built at a remote spacedock. It only has three living crew members the Captain, First Officer (engineering specialty), & Second Officer (tactical specialty). Each would be responsible for one third of the ship when it enters multi-vector assault mode. When the Federation fell it went into hiding. At some point three Klingon class-4 cloaking devices were salvaged & installed on each component.

Yup, you're approved.
EDIT: If you want you may decide to actually be in the Prometheus, as it'll give you access to key intelligence regarding Voyager - which would not be common knowledge.
Awesome. We need some more players for this, so that we can get started.
Laufey said This, I like. Thinking of whether I want to be a Cardassian, or someone else.

Cardie would work, as I'll arrange some kind of mini-schism which would allow you to vacate and exit their space, such as Gul Dukat comspiring with Romulans or something.

Ship: Ingram class, & Ingram specs
Ship Name: NCC 2603, USS Pendragon
Ship Status: Pristine
Captain: John Weston
Species: Human
Bio: WIP
Ship Bio: Beginning in 2290, a limited production run of 6 ships were produced—a second Ingram (BB 2600), Philadelphia (BB 2601), Challenger (BB 2602), Pendragon (BB 2603), Guardian (BB 2604) and Jamestown (BB 2605). Carrying sophisticated computer and scientific equipment and being exceedingly well armed (mounting 11 Type VIII Phaser Banks, an additional 7 Type VIII Phaser Emitters and 4 2nd Class Torpedo Launchers) made the production version of Ingram impressive to be sure, but the class’ most notable attribute was the striking pearlescent thermacoat finish applied to the hull. A good magnitude lighter than the standard grey, it earned the initial production lot the nickname of the ‘Great White Fleet’.

In 2297, the ‘fleet’ was ordered on a grand voyage that would take it from the Federation’s core to the outer rim and back, in a tour of virtually all Federation-held territory. In a two dimensional sense, after departing the Yokohama Naval Yards at Earth, the fleet would head northeast along the Romulan Neutral Zone to Deep Space 6, before heading slightly northward and turning around, heading west to Deep Space 3. The third (and longest) leg of their journey would see them heading south and slightly west, all the way to Starbase 14. Their last leg would see them head east to the Ceti Alpha star system before maneuvering north, traveling up along the Klingon border on their way back to Yokohama. The goals of this voyage were multifaceted. In the wake of the signing of the Khitomer Accords, Starfleet sought to reassert itself—the continued ability to project power being key to combatting renewed ‘adventurism’ on the frontier. It also represented a showpiece of UFP goodwill, making port with many allies.

It is designed to be a multi-mission platform, able to perform military, exploration, and transport / colonization roles. Upgraded due to the war it is a military platform, the ship carries the latest in Federation weapons technology and would be some of the most powerful vessels in Fleet service. As an Explorer, the ship is designed with a laboratory and sensor suite equal to that of the Galaxy Class large exploratory cruiser. And her large internal spaces, though not as big as the Galaxy Class, are more flexible and allow her to carry up to fi ve thousand colonists and their supplies.

Shp Bio: The loss of 39 starships to the Borg at the Battle of Wolf 359 was a shocking blow not only to Starfleet but to the research and exploration efforts of the Federation. Fewer field worthy starships meant less time spent in the backwaters of unexplored space pushing back the boundaries of Federation science. Shortly after the apocalyptic battle, Starfleet was scrambling to meet the needs of border commanders by reactivating as many viable mothballed starships as possible in the shortest time manageable. Most of these vessels went to the front with no more than a minor refurbishing, some updated hardware and little else. To make up for the losses the exploratory fleet had suffered, Starfleet Engineering decided to do something special. Four of the most viable Constitution-class starship hulls were pulled from their parking orbits over Memory Beta and taken to a refit yard at the Makin County Fleet Yards. Once there, the hulls were stripped down to their framework and rebuilt one piece at a time. At the same time, the most modern sensor suite, computer core and support systems available were integrated into their hulls making them some of the most sophisticated front line starships available. For a vessel commissioned nearly 100 years before, the refits were a new lease on life for the venerable Constitution-class and represented a new chance to serve with the fleet for an additional fifty years, a full 125 years beyond their originally projected design life. When the saucer was virtually destroyed during an early encounter with the Dominion, they were going to use it for spare parts, until the science officer made a rather bold suggestion - replace it with a newer Sovereign type one, just slightly smaller and designed to fit the ship. With little choice they decided to try the idea out. As a result the modern saucer is able to boost phaser yields due to the implementation of the newer phaser strips which help cover the angles of weakness.
