Cecelia nodded and motioned to the adjacent chair after a sideways glance at the Guild member or newcomer, she couldn't tell by just the glance she snuck. Still seeing so many people around made her wary. From just the legends, Cecelia remembers the Guild as ruthless monster slayers, refined mercenaries of all kinds. She doubted that they would suddenly invite what seemed like everybody around to join. She notices one other social variant; some form of man sitting in a chair in a different corner, reading. She scans over his features, reminding herself to keep tabs on him. Cecelia then returns to scanning the crowd, keeping the man who sat beside her in the corner of her vision

So, as we all (who have played Dishonored) know, there is a "moral choice" system for a "bad", "good", and "clean" ending (high chaos, low chaos, no chaos playthroughs). Now, I want to assume that in this universe of Sokolov's playthrough (Schrodinger's cat scenario) that this version of Corvo had either low or no chaos (few, if any, kills; from the endings, the only difference is how Emily is remembered) and now we're five years down the road. Let's lay down a little plot:

Only a breath after the Lord Regent's downfall and the small militia from the Hound Pitts Pub had been taken care of by Empress Emily's delightful protector: Corvo. Both have noticed the dull in his skills. Unfortunately, those who live on the Inside are affected severely by time. I myself, residing on the Outside, can assist some to act when necessary. Some may not like their company, but it's a livelihood and the terms of also staying Outside of time, here in the Void. Those who embrace it the most are gifted by the Void itself with skills enhancing their own. What will you do with your powers? I can only tell you whom not to kill, for some peoples' lives in time are invariant and must stay put. Thus is why you may need to protect someone being plotted against. You'll catch on soon enough. I can only give simple instructions.
Speaking of, a small faction against Corvo are planning his assassination this very moment. I can't place you in there, or people will think I have an opinion. Corvo's time is not now, so you must keep him alive. How you do and what you say are none of my concern. They plot in the Golden Cat, and live within the block. Now, be off and be sure Corvo is not killed.
The Outsider


So your goal is set: protect Corvo. The catch is, you can't interact with him. As told when you first agreed to protect those the Outsider deems necessary, you may not interact with anyone you are contracted to protect. The Outsider is emotionless and neutral, so any rumors otherwise could prove to his disadvantage.

You may be of any faction from the Dishonored series: Doud's Assassins, City Watch, Some Dude On the Street, Overseer (if you can explain why someone sworn to kill the Outsider's followers would assist him instead). You are limited to your factions' weaponry plus one Enhancement given to you from the Void (snipers' accuracy with a crossbow, dual-wielding swords effectively, place gadgets yards away from you, or a power like Corvo has from the game), whatever helps you be more effective at what you do best.


Bonus for guys: you are more likely to win the Mega Millions jackpot than having conjoined twins!
