All righty then. Might as well make sure, as well, but are there limits to the elements, as well? Like, are things like Wood/Light/Dark/Lightning applicable?
Guess I'll go with an Exciderunt.

Quick question: Are the playable races all human in appearance, or have any distinguishing traits?
Beatrix silently poked at her meal, head turned downward in an attempt to hide the small flush on her cheeks. The bravery comment had taken her by surprise, and was trying not to look obviously delighted with the praise. Besides, her bravery was totally obvious! Much like her good looks, genius, generosity and awesomeness! To compliment someone like Beatrix was simply to yell obvious phrases to the heavens!

And of course, the idea of officially being recognised as a Level 5...

Potential unconsciousness aside, why was Kyouma so nervous about this, anyway? Maybe everyone else was just cowardly! Not everyone could be as great as herself, wasn't that why Beatrix was so clearly above everyone else?
Deciding that her meal was never going to be consumed in its entirety, the arrogant girl opened her bag to find her wallet, and upon seeing the manga volumes piled inside, finally remembered why she had come out in the first place. Nervously glancing at Torako and Kyouma, Beatrix found it extremely awkward to just hand them over now...

"...Sure, fine then..." she mumbled at Kyouma, closing her bag and setting it beside her chair. With a quick shake of her head, she finally chuckled, giving Kyouma her arrogant glare that tended to accomapny her self-absorbed words, "well, if you would finish your food like a good boy, we wouldn't have to delay! Honestly, it's just a little meat."

Said the girl that had eaten the least out of the three of them.
I like the sound of this.
Beatrix listened to this talk of power ups with her head tilted to the side. Given her lack of social skills, friends, and not watching the news in lieu watching all the anime/playing all the games/generally shutting herself inside a bubble, she knew just about nothing of these rumours. They sounded rather silly to the obviously-powerful esper. What desperate idiot would use such a method to gain power?

...

...Well... maybe it would help those foolish idiots that designated her as a Level 0 realise just how awesome her abilities were...

Silently poking at her barely-eaten meal with a pondering frown, Beatrix tried to decide if this weird method of leveling up was worth her time. After all, she had only intended to pay Torako back for doing her job. Still, a potential increase in power...
Eventually, temptation won out. Scoffing at Kyouma's attempt to inject logic into their actions, Beatrix simply said, "it's perfectly safe! After all, if it's already happened to other people, then there's clearly no problem, right?"

Crossing her arms smugly, Beatrix continued, "frankly, I can only see an upside! Unless getting knocked out hurts a lot. ...Er, did the legends say anything about that...?"
"...Do-don't make it sound like I'm a cute little pet..." Beatrix mumbled, almost inaudibly as her cheeks flushed a faint red. She wasn't taking a liking to anybody! She was just appreciative of her proper treatment, was all!
Preoccupied with her protestations, Beatrix didn't resist being guided into the restaurant, and seemed almost confused when she bothered to take in her surroundings once more.

The young lady almost never visited places like this. If she was at home, it was all high-class cuisine fit for royalty. While living in Academy City, she... had far too many instant meals than one would like to admit (when the hell were those idiots running place supplying her with at least six maids?!), so after staring at her menu for several long moments, Beatrix finally chose a steak.

Th-this thing is almost as big as me... she found herself commenting, once her food had arrived. How was anyone supposed to eat all of this stuff?! And where was all the other food? Surely it wasn't possible to just eat meat alone? It, like, threw off the balance or something.

Still, she wasn't about to admit defeat to stupid food, and after steeling her mind for the arduous task ahead, finally began to cut of small sections and eat.
Beatrix stared at Torako silently for a few moments, surprised at her sudden appearance. All that searching, and in the end that girl just came to her? Sure, that was how it was supposed to be, but still!
This time, Torako was accompanied by some boy. One who possessed manners appropriate to display to someone like Beatrix! With an almost stereotypically, self-absorbed chuckle to herself, Beatrix straightened in her seat and smirked arrogantly at the duo.

"Well, obviously there's no need to introduce my esteemed self," she began, "but as I am exceedingly polite, I am Beatrix Alexandria Katherine Avalon. Feel free to use any of those words with the correct honorific and title!"
Her attention was now turned to Torako, a small frown on her face, "and you! How dare you flee from my sanctuary so rudely! I demand only the finest cuisine in compensation!"

Hands on her hips, Beatrix waited for Torako to lead the way, momentarily forgetting the reason she had ventured out in search of the girl in the first place.
Beatrix grouched to herself as she left her dorm room once more, now equipped with a backpack. She'd planned to spend some time making progress in her RPG's, then serenading her wonderful, cuddly subjects with her amazing violin skills, but nooooo, this stupid thing was in her mind, bugging her relentlessly.

The Kinnikuman manga volumes had been gathered up and placed in her bag, Beatrix complaining about hard work all the while. That stupid Torako girl just had to go and rush off before she could reward the servant for helping out. Her new friends were giving disappointed looks now! She just looked terrible for not giving something in return!

Once more combating the combined evils of sunny weather and walking, Beatrix set off to find her servant.

A short while later, she was catching her breathe at an outdoor cafe, cursing everything in the universe not named Beatrix Alexandria Katherine Avalon for making life so darn hard. She just wanted to give her the stupid manga, why did Torako have to... not be somewhere nearby?!
Beatrix gave her servant a blank look, completely missing what the taller girl was implying. Was she talking about romance stories? How were those embarrassing? They weren't even explicit! Only, like, a bajillion kiss scenes in one of them! No way would she ever 'kyaa' over something so mundane!

...Besides, she'd already got all of the scandalised blushing out of her system.

At any rate, the girl had apparently found something she liked. Something called Kinnikuman. It sounded vaguely familiar, though Beatrix didn't really remember actually reading it. It was either unimpressive, or she simply hadn't gotten around to it. After all, she had so many things to get done! And every time the gothic-lolita thought she had finished catching up, a completely new title showed up in her collection somehow. And were most certainly not series so awful and/or traumatising that they were hurriedly wiped from her memory before she could think to dispose of the offending material.

Come to think of it, she still had to reward this girl, right? Well... might as well give her the manga, right? Not like Beatrix would miss it terribly; buying them again wouldn't be a problem, and she was hardly attached to that series anyway.
As Beatrix opened her mouth to bless her guest with good firtune, however, she suddenly rushed out, having forgotten about some errand. All Beatrix could do was stare silently as her head was patted and Torako left. At least she took the time to introduce herself. But still...

"...Hmph. Who forgets important stuff..." Beatrix grumbled, her cheeks reddening slightly. Having someone act so... friendly and familiar was a really weird experience. Not at all like the grovelling she clearly deserved. Oh well, that was fun while it lasted. With a faint sigh, Beatrix busied herself with piling the manga up once more.
My post should be up later today, though I don't think Chibiko BAKA Bea will be doing much of note for now.
