Black Moon, White Night: A Visual Novel-inspired Urban Fantasy RP

• Name: Yamada Kazumi
• Age: 22
• Gender: Female
• Appearance: "Sp00kyGal000? I, uh... never heard of her..."
• Personality: Kazumi is a polite and courteous, if distant young woman, with a desire to be noticed. Believing herself to be another boring, generic face with nothing unique to speak of, Kazumi struggled to find something that distinguished her from the rest, something to make her noticed... and now that she has, is a tad annoyed that she (or at least her online alias, Sp00kyGal000) - is known for elaborate, somewhat-convincing stories of the supernatural - a joke blog she wrote to stave off boredom and somehow became annoyingly popular with her fellow college students.
  Aside from that, Kazumi is a normal, run-of-the-mill citizen in just about every way: She has no strange quirks (that she's aware of), simply wants to be successful, and maybe wishes she could be more friendly with others. Wishing to be some magical superhero, or the true protagonist of a cosmic story of life and death... or even being something as mundane as a paranormal investigator, is nothing more than a childish fantasy to her.
• Skills: Tech-savvy, and proficient with housework. There is not much else to her.
• Equipment: Often carries her laptop with her, as well as her smartphone.
• Brief Backstory: Obviously, a completely normal person, with no special upbringing to speak of. Throughout her school life, she made few friends, which she wasn't exactly unhappy with, and her grades weren't bad at all - but definitely not spectacular. Somewhat frustrated at her seeming inability to improve in any meaningful way, decide to vent her frustration by looking up random stuff online, hoping for a fun distraction. A few hours later, she found herself engrossed in stories about ghost-sightings, demonic possession, haunted locations... of course, it was obviously nonsense, but it intrigued her nonetheless. A few years later, Kazumi decided to write up her own made-up 'ghost sightings' and the like, figuring she could at least contribute to the tall tales. Over the next few years, the blog picked up more and more steam, much to her confusion, and now she spends her college days, embarrassedly listening to her classmates discuss the totally-believable exploits of 'sp00kygal000'.

Roxas had the strangest feeling that a freefall from the sky wasn't entirely strange to him for several reasons. He probably landed much more gracefully before, as well. At least he wasn't pasted to the ground by this strange arrival.
Slowly, the blonde young boy sat up, his mind a confusing swirl of confusion. Falling from the sky, landing without an injury... strange, but not the most immediately-questionable event to him right now. No, what was strange, was the fact that he was there at all. He pretty distinctly remembered rejoining his other half, becoming a whole being once more. So why was he here, in this strange place? Where was Sora?

Roxas rose to his feet after a moment, taking in his unfamiliar surroundings. There were strangers scattered around, who seemed to be in the same predicament as he was. And this building... Roxas had no idea what it was for. Or why a giant animal was climbing all over it. After a bemused stare, the Nobody shook his head and folded his arms, pondering.

Nothing was really adding up in his mind, which was rather troubling, to say the least. Had something gone wrong after his final battle? No... he was sure nothing had happened. Sora had defeated his former boss, Roxas was aware of that much. But after that... nothing was coming to his mind.

Roxas sighed. He certainly wasn't going to figure this out on his own. Approaching the one person that hadn't conversed with the others, Roxas cleared his throat, and spoke to the black-haired boy in red, "hey, uh... can you tell me what's going on here? Where are we, exactly?"

*Appearance: The Key of Destiny, man

*Personality:
Roxas, much like his 'real' counterpart, Sora, is a nice young lad, caring for his friends and willing to help someone out of a situation. Although he'd rather not have anything to do with the Keyblade, he'll use it if it's to protect his friends. While normally calm and somewhat logical, he's also prone to anger, making him somewhat easy to rile up. He can become somewhat cocky in battle, too, especially if he maintains the upper hand.

*Powers/Skills:
-A wielder of the Keyblade, unique in that he's able to summon two of them at once. The Keyblades themselves are deceptively sharp, capable of opening almost any lock (physical and magical), and will always return to the hand of the wielder, making theft impossible. Also, they can be dismissed and recalled as necessary.
-Roxas also wields the "Light" element, allowing him to shoot blasts of 'light-element' damage. This is also utilised as pillars of light, firing from the sky.
-Roxas is a skilled fighter, with a balanced fighting style - or swift and brutal, should he opt to dual-wield. Compared to a normal human, his durability is surprisingly high, and can perform very short bursts of speed, useful for flanking or pursuing an enemy. A notable weakness of Roxas' fighting style, is that he tends to abandon all forms of defense, focusing solely on brute force.

*Brief Bio: The Nobody of Sora, who once fought for Organisation XIII as the 13th member. After a year of this, he fled the group, then was defeated in battle by someone and placed in a virtual world with his memories erased. However, an old friend from the Organisation managed to find him, attempting to retrieve him. This slowly began to awaken his memories of his past, and combined with his rage over being treated as a fake being, brought him to the location of Sora, his other half. Reluctantly accepting his fate, Roxas merged with once more, though still managed to return for a final battle against Sora. The result of which allowed Roxas to fully merge with him, satisfied.

Timeline-wise, Roxas is plucked from after the events of KH2, somehow a separate being once more.

*Equipment:
-Kingdom Key, used for his 'balanced' style.
-Oathkeeper and Oblivion, both used when he dual-wields.

*Others: Roxas can also traverse Corridors of Darkness to essentially teleport to other locations. Since I don't know if that's something he could still do at this point, as well as lacking protection from the Darkness, and the potential issues of teleporting around in general, I'll be leaving that out.
