I am always down for some military/fantasy.
What schools of magic are we allowed to use? Do you have specific ones in mind, or should we just come up with our own?
I'm starting to feel markedly less original now that we have a whole bunch of clone soldiers around.

Thinking about changing to either a grounded admiral, or preferably a paranoid /k/ommando who has been preparing for this invasion for years. Everyone called him crazy, but now he'll show them, with whatever the Star Wars equivalent of a surplus Mosin-Nagant and bloc armor, ready to go operate innastreets.

While I enjoy having other clones, that concept sounds pretty hilarious. Maybe the bowcaster would be a good substitute for the mosin?

I'd wait to see what's accepted first, but I'm getting the same vibe with my gray Jedi.

I think your character is fine, but if you want to stand out more, maybe make him a Teleepo Paladin, or even a gray paladin.
Alright, I'll throw my hat in the ring as a clone trooper, since we now have a good share of force users.

Name:ARF-1352 "Paladin"

Race: Human

Age: 17

Sex: Male

Affiliation: Grand Army of the Republic

Rank: Lieutenant of 1st Platoon, Bravo Company, 21st Nova Corps "Galactic Marines"

Physical Description: Distinguishes himself from his clone brothers by shaving his head bald and adorning his arms with Mandolorian tattoos. He also has a large tattoo of the Republic's Insignia on the back of his head.

Mental Description: CT-1352 was born in 31 BBY, being in the second batch of clones the Kaminoans made for the Republic. During training he was assigned to Gamma Squad, where he earned his nickname due to his skill with vibro blades. He was originally trained to be a Clone Assassin, but tests showed he did not have the fanatic loyalty needed for the role, and was transferred to Advanced Recon Force as asn Infantry Scout.

Paladin was commissioned late into the first year of the war, and put under the command of Jedi General Pong Krell as an advanced recon scout. He survived two months under the ruthless general, a feat which made him a respected veteran in his high casualty unit.

During the Battle of Umbara, he and his squad were ordered to scout out the Umbaran Capital by General Krell. The two day march to the city claimed the lives of the rest of his Squad, turning his assignment into a solo mission. He scouted out the city, placing bombs and killing Umbaran militia along the way. The intel he collected proved invaluable to General Kenobi when he began his assault on the city.

Following the betrayal and subsequent death of General Krell, Paladin was transferred to Ki Adi Mundi's command and served in the famed Galactic Marines. His skill with vibro blades proved invaluable in the close quarters combat of boarding actions.

Paladin continued serving in the Galactic Marines for a number of years, seeing action on numerous planets, most notably Mygeeto. During his time with the Marines he had risen to the rank of Captain and commanded an aggressive Vanguard company.

Following the death of Palpatine, the Republic and the Jedi realized the growing danger presented by "rogue assets". A task force was formed, combining the small numbers of Covert Ops and Clone Assassins into a new division, called Clone Sentinels. They also put out a call to volunteers for the new regiment, a call which Paladin answered.

Sentinels were tasked with huntinbg down rogue force users, clone deserters, and Separatist leaders, as well as dismantling Palpatines massive network.

Due to his rank and experience, Paladin was given command over the wetwork operations of the division. Using unconventional weapons, such as slugthrowers, flamethrowers, and vibroblades allowed the Sentinels to hunt down the dark Jedi followers of Palpatine, and even drive the Nighsisters into hiding.

Things turned sour for Paladin during his hunt for rogue Jedi Barriss Offee. After receiving intel that said Offee was on a transport vessel, Paladin ordered the craft shot down. However, examination of the crash shippeds showed Offee was never on board, and it was indeed merely a transport vessel carrying ten families to a new colony.

Following this, he requested his own court martial, but was denied due to his exlempary service. He fell into a deep depression, and grew more and more reckless during operation, constantly endangering his own life.

His descent of self-destruction was only stopped when General Ki Adi Mundi's himself confronted him and convinced him to reenlist back with the Galactic Marines. He agreed, on the condition that he be demoted to lieutenant, and be allowed to train one platoon with the new techniques he used during his time with the Sentinels.

Mundi's agreed to both requests, and Paladin has been serving under him since.

Equipment:

Specialized Maroon Marine Armor

Synthmesh Helmet

DC-17M Blaster

Custom made vibroblade, "Droid Bane"

Bandolier

Thermal Detonator (With remote Detonator)

On another note, I support the idea of having Anti-Force-user units being part of the GAR ranks. They could have been special units that were originally intended to be used during Order 66 but were repurposed by the new Republic government as anti-Sith measures.

Thanks! Transferring to character tab now

There were clone assassins, who used martial arts and vibroblade gauntlets to kill Jedi. I am pretty sure they took part in Operation Knightfall. I think a decently skilled clone commando could probably take on a low level dark Jedi, but I can make my wip character a clone assassin if you guys think it would be prudent.
Hope this isn't too late.

Name: Grant Soto

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 19

Appearance: A lightly tanned Hispanic man, Grant would be quite a looker if it was not for his rough upbringing. Growing up on the streets of New Reno has left his body covered in scars and bruises. His nose has been severely disfigured by repeated beatings breaking it multiple times.

Like most street kids, he has a runner's build, with little muscle built up. Both his eyes and his hair are a deep, charcoal black. His hairstyle is best described as windswept. He is currently trying to grow a beard, with little but wispy chin hairs to show for it.

Strength: 6

Perception: 7

Endurance: 4

Charisma: 4

Intelligence: 5

Agility: 8

Luck: 6

Main skills: Sneak, Melee, Energy Weapons

Weapon: Laser Pistol

Armor: Vault 21 Jumpsuit, Ball cap with glasses.

Pipboy: Yes

Special Items: A key he wears as a necklace, a prewar comic book (he likes the pictures), and a prewar camera he has been trying to fix, to no avail.

Caps: 23

Can we use stuff from Legends continuity?
Hope the additions are acceptable.
Sorry if the format for this is utter crap, I am posting from my phone.

Appearance: Perhaps the roughest looking Elf many will ever see, Jorwyn is not exactly a pretty sight. His craggy, narrow face has only one good feature, his brilliantly blue eyes.Years spent fighting has turned his once pale and smooth skin rough and tanned, covered in scars from his many battles. He keeps his jet black hair cropped short out of sheer practicality. He stands tall, at an imposing 6'3, built lean and mean. His right arm is covered in Wood Elven tribal tattoos, from his time training their militias. He has three scars across his back, one across his face, and a myriad on his arms.

He does his light Elven armor, underneath a roughly hewn green cloak he uses for scouting. The only sign of his considerable wealth is a small silver signet ring he wears around his neck.

Name: Jorwyn Intress

Age: 1277

Titles: Lord of Rainmark, Warden of the Western Marches, Sworn Sword to Her Majesty, High Queen Valere.

Race: Elf

Rank: Captain of the Elven Vanguard

Weapons: Jorwyn carries a bow, a saber, and a short spear.

Personality: An elf born to be a warrior, Jorwyn has always been known in Elven social circles as a rather odd fellow. Though he is known to be unfailingly polite, his appearance unnerves many of his fellow nobles. Among those he calls friends, he is known as an entirely different man. Known for his dry, sardonic humor and hisa biting disdain for many of his fellow nobles, his witty comments have earned him an equal number of friends and enemies.

On the battlefield, he is known as a ruthless and pragmatic tactician. Renowned in the Elven Army as both a hard and unforgiving commander, whose brutal tacticsa often results in heavy casualties for both sides.

Bio: Born the second son of an ancient Elven Noble house, Jorwyn enjoyed the finest education an Elf could ask for. Schooled in the histories, the natural sciences, and of course, combat. Beginning at age twenty, he practiced everyday with the saber and the bow. He was taught the tactics and history of Elven warfare, with every expectation of him becoming a fine Elven officer when he became of age.

Unfortunately for his parents and tutors, Jorwyn was a rebellious youth. Having great disdain for officers who earned their rank by merely being of noble blood, Jorwyn ran away from home at the age of 200.

Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the Elven Army under a false name. After showing great promise with the bow and short spear (he hid his skikll with the saber as to not arouse suspicion), he was assigned to the Jahallan Battalion, the premier light infantry force of the Elven Army.

He saw this first action during a minor Goblin excursion, where he and his unit were ambushed. He fought valiantly and earned the three scars on his back from a particularly skilled Goblin Axeman. The minor excursion proved to be larger than initially thought, and so Jorwyn and his unit were cut off from the rest of the Elven Army. During this time, Jorwyn earned himself a field promotion after leading a counter-attack when his sergeant was killed.

Following this excursion, Jorwyn fought in a variety of campaigns and border skirmishes. One of particular note was when he killed an Orc Chieftqn in single combat, earning both a nasty scar across his face and a captain's commission.

Perhaps his most notable assignment was when he was ordered to put down an insurgency in the small Elven city of Hjaal. He captured and then publicly executed on the insurgency's leaders, leading to an all of war in the streets. He led his small task force through the brutal close-quarters urban combat, and captures the remainder of the insurgency's leaders. He of course publicly executed them as well.

Soon after he learned his older brother had passed from a summer fever, and that his family was in jeopardy with no heirs to inherit his ailing father's titles. So reluctantly, he returned home.

Needless to say, his return was quite a shock to his family, who had long presumed him dead. The story soon spread like wildfire through the noble gossip circles, and he found himself with a new title, "The Battleborne Lord". His father died soon after, and so Jorwyn inherited his land, titles, and considerable wealth.

Using his newfound wealth, Jorwyn helped fund a scouting and ranging unit under his command. After showing great success with this unit, he received funding from the High Queen herself to form a unit of " Shock Troopers", a new infantry unit formed of veterans and trained in close-quarters combat.
Extra: Though he owns a warhorse, he prefers to dismount for battle.

He likes to personally lead ranging parties, so he can assess the situation personally.

I'll add some more later, just tell me if I need to change anything.
They're a heavy unit thick with armor and arms. Best way to describe them is that they're a mix between The Roman Legion, Spartans and the Vikings with a heavy dwarvern touch. The dwarfs have no heavy calvary but make up for in sure brute strength and stalwart defense. The Stone Sons in particular are a very secretive fighting force in their culture. Only certain high standing figures are the only known members. To be a member that particular dwarf has to have a pure lineage back to the original founding fathers. One cannot simply join them they're are sought out and to join the legion is to have their house blessed with both riches and honor after their death or over so many years of service. Members cannot even tell their spouses or family who they are. But they come from all walks of life, they could be miners, soldiers, craftsman anything

This has solidified my interest.
