@JulienJaden Ah, NHS isn't what it used to be. But I've always had real empathy for the elderly, they get a real shit deal over here. I had one old lady who begged not to be discharged because she liked having a warm bed and hot meals. Broke my heart. I used to visit her once a week with some shopping up until she died. She was such a dear thing and was so excited about my being pregnant but she passed away before I gave birth.

@Irisity Patient suffers from dementia, thought I was attacking them (I was checking their obs) and they lashed out and snapped my finger back. Downside of geriatric nursing is the dementia sufferers and the violence.

There is no rush to get a first post done today, I am on nights tonight and tomorrow night and so Tuesday and Wednesday are sleeping days for me. So everyone can take a few days to perfect their post or contact other writers etc.
That being said, I do like to get replies done as soon as possible.
Replies do not need to be as long as mine, I am terrible for making things long winded. Should see my notes at work, something as simple as a fractured ankle becomes an epic tale of hardship and tragedy. Bit of an exaggeration but I can waffle on a bit.
