Location: Basement Training Facility
Interacting: No One
Christie had zoned out as people had entered the room, due to that she did not notice Raylan enter the room all bloody and dirty. She looked focus but she was off elsewhere, something she picked up during school so the teacher would not call on her. However, her focus did actually return when Francis began to speak up. Grace was close, something Christie noticed above everything else even bloody Raylan. He explained why people were no longer around, pressure was surely a bitch and sometimes it was too much even to those who looked or acted strongly. Robert was now the team leader, Christie was not happy or sad about it either. Maybe he could handle the pressure of handling three-four high-energy rookie mutants. However, she did not think much of it as Francis went on.
The Equalists, who the hell were the Equalists? She had never heard of them though Raylan did seem in a hurry earlier, maybe that was why he was bloody.
'Holy crap he looks terrible' she thought to herself. She had seen Bloody Raylan standing there, he looked like shit and probably felt like shit as well or so she would guess. The way Francis said dealt with them hit a chord, she knew what he meant even if he was trying to hide it. If Raylan looked like shit she was sure Francis did something similar if not him one of the other members did. However, she did not think much about it as Francis went on some more. The words forbidden to leave stuck a nerve, she did not show it and it was good no mind readers were here either.
"Permission," she said softly and quietly to herself. If Wolverine were here he would probably say bullshit and even challenge Francis.
Christie was not in the mood to even bother with it as he was running this show after all. Being an X-Man meant more to her anyway though she wondered if someone would challenge him. Her arms were crossed at this point as she leant back against the chair she was sitting in. More was to follow as two new students introduced themselves, they did not say very much, however. Christie soon looked over to Grace for a moment giving her a small smile as she did. The newly enforced rules might be stupid but she would not let that bother her too much even if it was to protect them. Christie soon let out a sigh, though the training part sounded fun. Hopefully, it would be something on the physical side and not on the mental side. That task earlier was a headache in itself.
"You know it just occurred to me that Francis looks a lot like Tom Hiddleston. I wonder if anyone else notices that?" she thought to herself.
