Twas another lovely day at the manor of Maximus Canis, "Maxy" the vampire affectionately called him much to his chagrin.

A partly clear blue sky stretched endlessly over the vast, verdant greens of the forest with a few puffy white clouds. Birds chirped as the sun shone brightly, shimmering across the tranquil, trickling waters surrounding the castle.

Twas at this hour the vampire Claudia was leaning against the railing of the balcony nestled in the cool shade of a few hanging plants. She delicately sipped of her wine from a crystal chalice, enjoying the bittersweet taste, just as much as she enjoyed the lovely view from atop the courtyard. She sighed peacefully, her languid blue eyes taking in the lush, beautiful flowers and the almost crystal appearance of the waters.

Then, she noticed someone approaching, a soft curl of her lips into a smirk.

~"Oh my~ Seems we have a visitor, an adorable visitor too."~ Pleasantly the woman mused to herself.

It seemed the Master of the house was already awake and had beat her to the punch of greeting such a fine young lady. Claudia pouted slightly upon ear of Maxy's voice, but nevertheless resumed her charming smirk calling down,

~"Oh Maxy deary~! Why don't you let me show that cute young thing around, hmm~?"~

~Shape-Shifting~
As with most Nosferatu, Claudia has the ability to change shape into almost anything. Her most common alternate-form is of a black cat, but she can also form into a bat (naturally) or a cloud of dark mist.

~Vampire Allurement~
With just a simple look into her eyes or a batting of her eyelashes, a soft smirk included, Claudia can gain control of someone and lure them to her subconciously. Of course, it's only effective if the intended target is of weak will, but she is rather persistent in her...endeavors.

Weaknesses:

Though she is a vampire, Claudia is only affected by a few common vampire weaknesses. She can still ingest garlic, albeit in moderate amounts, and she can still traverse through sunlight, only for a short amount of time before she begins to feel weary, light-headed, and at some points nauseous. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may even cause her to faint or her skin to blister painfully, but this is only in the case of direct contact with her skin.

Religious paraphernalia if touched to her skin will cause minor burns and the sight of such can cause her to have splitting migraines and even lash out angrily. Naturally though, a stake to the heart can kill her instantly. The same goes with forcing her to swallow holy water.

Persona:

Claudia is a very jovial and carefree woman. She loves to laugh, drink, dance, sing, and flirt, especially with other women. She has a vibrant personality that seems to charm everyone around her and lift their spirits, but if you cross her, she can be quite the fire storm.

She can be quite moody sometimes, especially of she doesn't get her way, and she can be very loyal and dependent.

Claudia has been a vampire for a very long time, but that doesn't necessarily mean she enjoys it. Rather, she's not too fond of being a creature of the dark, having to sustain her life by sucking the blood of innocent humans and avoid direct contact with the sun. Also, she views her immortality as more of a curse than a blessing, having to live forever while those around her died, including her many human lovers.

Short Bio:

There is no telling where or from who this woman originated from. She claims she was born in a castle to a powerful vampire lord and his mate during the time of the Crusades, somewhere around what is now modern day Normandy. There is nothing left of the castle now, only a few stones to mark where it once stood tall and proud.

For many, many years the woman has lived. She's witnessed countless centuries of human history unfold. She's met so many fascinating people, learned so many things about the world, and she's taken many a lover during her lifetime, but alas...

Immortality is both a blessing...and a curse.

As she continued to live, her friends and dearest loved ones passed away before her very eyes. She would never be able to join them in the peace of the afterlife. This saddened the woman to no end.

For the time being, she's drifted from place to place, a regular globetrotter, taking in the sights, sounds, food and culture of many nations, tribes, and people. Now, she finds herself in the luxurious yet peculiar home of one Maximus Canis. She spends her days mostly musing of the past, reading classic literature, and drinking exquisite wines while taking in the beauty and the serenity of the forest castle.
