Man, MGS3 Ocelot's gun-spinning noise is bizarrely pleasant. Damn near ASMR fodder.

New Akuma actually looks kinda cool moveset-wise. Now I have to hope in my heart of hearts that Makoto or someone more interesting gets in.

[@Shoryu] I'll concede XvSF and Marvel 1, but the 3v3 format is iconic now. That's not to say I disagree that MvC is typically a mess. Shout outs to "ZOOP ZOOP" Zero.

[@Mr Allen J] The whole situation with the different Marvel properties is a goddamn mess. New MAHVEL being 2v2's already got me worried about the roster.

Blowing on her ramen, Senhime watched as the young shinobi interacted with each other, chuckling slightly as Sutakku thanked her. "Oh, it's my pleasure." she chimed, assuring the boy that she wasn't going to judge if he scarfed the food down like a madman. Seeing Hitori's younger sibling, she couldn't help but think about how Akumako may have been doing in Kumogakure. Apparently she'd become a genin in the years since they'd been apart, so it was hard not to worry at least a little bit. It wasn't long before each of her new subordinates saw fit to ask questions. Turning to Ria, possibly the most eccentric of the group given her odd speech patterns, she nodded. "I'm glad you asked. Since I have yet to see you all in action, I figured I'd take you all to the training field to test out your abilities. It'd be a little irresponsible to take you all out on a mission without knowing firsthand what you can handle, no?" she answered, punctuating her sentence with a dainty slurp of her noodles. "As usual, Jo-sensei's done excellent work~." Senhime thought, taking a moment to savour the flavor of her ramen before moving on to Tenshi, who of course had his own question. "Oh, of course. You'll have time to grab anything you might need. I've already set up some equipment at the training field, but it's alright if you have some specific tastes." she told him, acknowledging that there were many shinobi who preferred to use more unorthodox weaponry. Especially considering that, given the length of the Shurakumo, she counted among that number.

Though, now that she thought about it, the roster scroll the Hokage had given her didn't have a lot of information on the individual team members on hand. Both Tenshi and Ria were Uchiha, so there was at least a base expectation of their possible proclivities, but not much beyond that. Beyond that, it was abundantly clear that young Ria had unlocked her Sharingan. And then there was the matter of Hitori and Tenshi. While Hitori was a chunin like Ria, Mawari had put in a specific note that the boy struggled with the arts of ninjutsu and genjutsu. That being said, what knowledge he had of fuinjutsu could prove to be an asset to Konoha in the future. And then there was Tenshi, both the youngest of the group and a Genin. Only time would tell whether he would live up to the name of the Uchiha, but his youth would make him at least a little easier to teach than the other two. Plus, there was the matter of adequately preparing the boy for the chunin exams.

"Well, I suppose now would be as good a time as any to askā€¦" she began, once again getting her fill of noodles before continuing. "What is it that you all believe you can work on? I want to do my best to bring out the best in all of you, so I'd like to at least know where your head is. And hopefully that knowledge will put you in mind to help each other. Tenshi still has yet to take the chunin exams, so I hope you two can lend him a hand in preparing." she explained, observing the three of them calmly as she got another slurp of noodles in.

"Ara ara~. Almost forgot. We have a mission coming up, so I'd hope that you don't go too hard during our little training exercise~."

Engrossed in conversation with Josuke as he handled orders, Senhime was a bit surprised when, of all people, Lady Mawari barged into the Ryugamine Ramen. Was she going to give her an earful for slacking off? Did she have some kind of urgent message that required her presence? All of the horned kunoichi's questions were answered when the Hokage snatched up one such Mu Sarutobi, promptly dragging him out of the ramen shop before the boy could even get his meal. Senhime chuckled, taking note of Josuke shaking his head as the Hokage made her exit. "I hope Mawari doesn't work those boys too hard." she remarked, perking up when three bowls of ramen were popped down onto the counter in front of her.

"Enjoy. And while y-" Josuke's eye twitched when the Uchiha girl pulled out some onigiri and handed it to the boy accompanying her. "Who the hell just pulls out their own food at a restaurant? The nerve of kids these days." he thought, glaring at the raven-haired girl with sharp, silver eyes. The sudden diversion of attention directed Senhime's eyes to the two as well, the kunoichi letting out a silent "Ooh" as the Uchiha girl removed her jacket. She observed them for a few seconds longer as they conversed, Josuke having since gotten back to work instead of dwelling on how annoying these Uchiha kids were proving to be.

"Ara ara~. Looks like I might've gotten lucky today." Senhime purred, working her way in between the pair of Uchiha. "You two wouldn't happen to be Tenshi and Ria of the Uchiha clan, would you? I'm Osuushi Senhime. Your new squad leader." she introduced herself, smiling warmly at both of the younger shinobi. Carefully, Senhime scooped up the three bowls of ramen that Josuke had prepared for her, Hitori and Sutakku, along with the sheathed Shurakumo before motioning to Tenshi and Ria to follow. "How convenient that we all came here at once. Saves me the trouble of calling you all to a training field individually~. Come, you should meet Nagasaki-kun. He'll be your other squadmate." she chimed, striding gracefully to the table at which Hitori and his younger brother sat, placing their bowls of ramen before them.
"I hope I didn't keep you two waiting long~. I actually found your squadmates over there, so the timing today couldn't be more perfect~." she chimed.

Considering the apparently shaky nature of the team she'd been given, Senhime intended to run a quick training exercise today to get a feel for the team. That being said, sharing a bowl of ramen together would prove to be a good, if not a bit unorthodox, way of sussing out how well the young shinobi would get along in a more casual setting. Granted, that was more or less something the horned kunoichi came up with on the fly.
I'll get another Senhime post up later tonight. Goin' to see Rogue One.

As Senhime had come to expect from Mawari, the meeting was rather brief. All the better for maximizing the time she could get in with familiarizing herself with the squad from day one. "Team Wildcard, huh? Ara ara~. Sounds like an interesting bunch." the horned kunoichi thought, looking over the list of names as the Hokage dismissed the three jounin. Grabbing the Shurakumo, Senhime gave a bow to the Hokage and her fellow jounin, having decided to make her exit first. "Well, then, I'm going to go on ahead. Eichiro-san, Kaido-kun. Good luck with your teams~. Oh, and you too, Mawa~." she chimed, waving at the three before exiting the room. If any one of them had anything to say about how she addressed them, she certainly didn't stick around long enough to hear it, having made her way back out onto the streets of Konoha in short order.

"Ara ara~. Two Uchiha? I hope they can get along with the Nagasaki boy." Senhime muttered as she looked over the team roster once again. Hitori's apparent lack of talent in some of the finer points of the ninja arts would be a challenge to overcome, but Senhime was certain that she'd be able to bring the boy up to par. If it was an issue of chakra control, she was just about the best person for the job. "Ara ara, I'm getting too excited. Maybe I should let Jo-sensei know before I go look for them?" Senhime pondered. The silver-haired chef would doubtless be nonplussed by the news, being unconnected with shinobi affairs, but perhaps it'd be a good way to share her feelings on leading a new squad. With that goal in mind, Senhime set off to the bizarrely convenient location of the Ryugamine Ramen.

The Ryugamine Ramen was arguably one of the most popular places to eat in Konoha. Good food, good atmosphere, and fairly reasonable prices if you weren't trying to get too fancy. As a pair of youngsters entered the establishment, the bespectacled gaze of the eatery's owner drifted over to them. From the looks of both of them, they appeared to be Uchiha. Not exactly a common sight in the Ryugamine establishment, but common enough here and around town that the chef knew one when he saw one? Brother and sister? As far as he was concerned, it didn't exactly matter. Simple miso ramen. Spicy beef ramen. Nodding his head, Ryugamine Josuke, better known by most as the "Ramen Guy", set about making their orders. The two occupied themselves with a fairly meaningless discussion about shogi, slowly transferring into some spiel about the etiquette of their clan's trademark weirdo eye nonsense.

Josuke scoffed at the intimation that anybody in the Uchiha clan would know a good restaurant, much less a good bowl of ramen, even staring at one with their funky eye bullshit. The two's orders were prepared swiftly, and Josuke promptly set their bowls down in front of them, lingering for a moment to observe the two raven-haired greenhorns. Taking particular not of the girl's paired blades, Josuke gave a barely audible "Tch." before returning to his work, taking the orders of the next few customers.

"Oh, is that...?" Senhime mused, spying a young man pushing another boy along in a wheelchair. While she hadn't spoken to either of the young boys personally before, she could put together the name with the face of Nagasaki Hitori from the prior chunin exams. Especially since the boy seemed to scrape by bby the skin of his teeth. "Excuse me, Nagasaki-kun?" she called approaching the chunin with an air of friendliness. "You happen to be just the boy I'm looking for~. I'm Osuushi Senhime, and I'll be your new squad leader for the foreseeable future." she greeted, giving the boy a respectful bow. "Come, come~. Let's have a bowl of ramen together. I'll even buy one for your brother too." she chimed, giving the wheelchair-bound boy a wave before heading into the Ryugamine.

"Jo-senseiiii~." Senhime cooed, slinking up to the counter and propping the Shurakumo up against it as she leaned over, her breasts squishing against the countertop in her unintentionally sultry position. The sharp silver eyes of the ramen chef darted over to the horned kunoichi and he shook his head. "I distinctly remember telling you not to call me 'Sensei'. I don't wanna give these people the wrong idea. And get those things off the counter before some weirdo tries to use it as their personal sniffing post." Josuke growled, prompting Senhime to stand up a little more straight.

"Ara ara~. Aggressive as always, I see. Anyway, I was going to come in just to tell you I've been appointed as a squad leader, but I saw one of my subordinates on the way and figured I'd grab a bowl of ramen with them." Senhime explained, earning a curt nod from the gruff chef. There were precious few people that interacted with the Ryugamine Ramen's owner in such a casual way, and the number could be counted on one hand. Unintimidated by the former samurai's perpetual glare, Senhime casually ordered herself a tonkotsu ramen with some extra eggs. "I should probably make this quick. I've still got to find the other two, after all. It looks like I've been saddled with a pair of Uchiha to boot." she mentions. At the sound of this information, Josuke's eyes once again drift over to the pair that had entered earlier, although he doesn't deign to say anything about it before tightening the long hachimaki tied around his head and working on the new orders.
At work right now, but I'm gonna try and not let Team Wildcard wait too long.
I'll be pleasantly surprised if we end up getting another team's worth of characters come IC time. Hopefully the enthusiasm carries over into the actual RP portion.

Our main man Ryoryoryoken is refusing to download it on his phone (well, knowing him, he could probably be persuaded to by big anime tits or something) and I myself am not toooooo fond of it. But I suppose we could.

To be fair, I do have Discord on my laptop. But Skype is my go-to, particularly for when I'm not home.

That being said, tiddies are my personal weakness.
