I would prefer not everything be from scratch, as you are a hired Engineer for the space station and not a random, as if you have access to Engineering platforms, you get access to standard gear. You can have up to 24 Rivets, and they can be purchased in any store that is next to a workbench or in a non-civilian area. You can have either the Standard Engineering SUit, Forged Engineering Suit, or the Hazard Engineering SUit. Your options could be that you jammed the lock so you couldn't get out, the armor is having a malfunction, or after locking the door you were knocked out. But the problem with this route is that you are not initially a part of the main group. Which means it is quite possible they don't go the path you are in and find you. There is no solo running, if the group doesn't find the character, the character stays there. But I can put you in a workshop or two in convenient spots.

That Intimid8r is in Dead Space 3, not this time around tech. Yer suits gonna have to be, and look like, the Riot security Rig. And were you gonna be a higher or lower rank than Taylor? Gonna have to get a chat going with @Nallore about the Rock Saw Cutter, since the appearance of it is long before Dead Space 1, but yeah... And no on the Revolver, next gen weaponry.

So far nothing wrong with this, except for the suit. Need an Engineering variant.

Edited my character sheet, I'm going to be a lower rank. I suppose the Rock Saw is pending for now.
Name: Corporal Byron Veikkaus
Appearance:

Profession: Titan Station Security Personnel.
History: Despite his usual pessimistic outlook on things, Byron really loved the station he was living on and wanted to do more for it. Growing up he typically under achieved though he had more than enough of an ability to over do so. He was just lazy, and this did not get very much positive attention from Byron's rather strict parents, in fact it was the opposite. Besides this, his upbringing was quite normal, or even too much for Byron. He got older and wanted more, wanted to do more, experience more things. Byron had always been confident, so he decided to become a security officer for the space station, but was noticed quickly by his fellow comrades and quite frowned upon for his laid back attitude. Surprisingly enough to them, Byron did was he was told, and got stuff done. Efficiently too, but this was only when he wanted to do so. Yet he only found himself at a dead end again, petty crimes and rifle wielding still did not satisfy what he was looking for. This was until recently. Byron's parents were both missing. What would someone want to do with a couple so old of age? He never expected it, and neither did anyone else. A short investigation took place only days before the oncoming storm that was about to be a necromorph outbreak.

Suit: Standard Riot Security Suit.
Weapons: SWS Motorized Pulse Rifle w/ Grenade Launcher Secondary Fire, 211-V Plasma Cutter (Sidearm).
Additional Gear: x1 Medium Medical Pack, x1 Power Node, Various Magazines and forms of ammunition, x2 Ration Packs, x2 Water Sacks, Flashlight & Batteries.
I like the idea.

I'm interested to see where this goes.
Dead Space is a very interesting series and the second one was probably my favorite.

Count me in.

Was it really his intentions to save Earth? I mean, c'mon. Neris did not have to think about this one very much. Earth is obliterated? He has other options, places to go, though whoever may engage in this possible assault may also be victorious, and that further occupation that they might continue would get in his way. Hmm.. that's a really tough call. Either way it would be entertaining, and that was exactly what Neris had been looking for, some form of excitement.

That was not the point right now. Though, it was constantly in the back of Neris' mind. As for now, he would have to sign up for this tournament in order to gain access. But where? His skin flexed, veins pulsing outwards and then retracting quickly again. It felt like leather, although it was stiff, yet easy to move at the same time, swift like a rod attached to a rotating ball. His eyes narrowing, watching the shuffle of other lowly figures inside of the building, people in question and distress, others who did not know what to do, including Neris.

"Well then." His hands came down to his sides and he found a seat rather in the corner of the room with very few people in the same place. Down from within a pouch attached to his belt he brought out a novel he had been going over. Neris liked to speed read, and as he opened the book, his eyes followed a few "unnatural" people stepping inside, keeping a glance on them, noticing they were doing some sort of process or ritual. It was.. some sort of sample? Neris' tension was growing and he continued to read his book at an incredible pace, pages flipping every 8 seconds or so as he waited for a time that the line was more clear to register in the fighting tournament.
