So with that cleared up the main plan would look like:

-Skateboarder goes his way.
-Seth and Jaden follow him in secret.
-They reach the base.
-Find a way to enter where thye meet the evolved Vix.
-Escape t trainer house
-Goes and sleep the well earned sleep.
-Next day arrives.

@Holy Soldier No, you misunderstand me. I had nothing to do with Max's creation, his actions, or the impetus for Raijin's question. I meant I caused Raijin to think he needed to use Max to resolve the situation by not being as clear with him about the collab as I should have been. I have rectified this, and I have even helped talk him out of using the Alakazam further for the scenario.

If you want me out of your game, that is your choice as GM and I'll accept it. I hope I'll be allowed to continue trying to rectify my completely botched first impression, but it's entirely your call on the matter.

@Holy Soldier It's more Raijin and I have had a slight breakdown in communication than anything else. I have the time table all sorted in my head and it all works just fine, I've just been horrible at putting it to paper so he can see it and work with it. So a bit of this is my fault, and I apologize for the resulting headaches. Rest assured, this will all be ship-shape and clean before I even consider posting the final product(s) to the IC thread.

@Ellion That's certainly a possibility, I can stuff that in my back pocket for if I just take too much time. I've actually thought of a good reason for him to take Bree and Atallia, the tricky one is going to be Silence of the Lambs over there...

Yeah, I'm... oof. I'm wrestling with myself here, not really sure how I want to do this. The main thing I'm grappling with is that what I wanted to write Dorian to be and what I'm finding myself increasingly coerced to writing him as are two very different things.

-What I want and would still like is for him to be a confident, if young lord who stands in the pretty large shadow of his deceased father and wants to either grow into it or get out from under it, and overall kind of like a more lively version of how I was playing Wilhelm. In particular, I would've liked the affair of his inheritance to have been multiple years prior and, theoretically, this is not his first selection. The main problem with that, I'm finding, is that under that setup there's really no reason for him to be there on Day 2 or pick out a bride as... let's say difficult as the three I've been promised to. Maybe Aubree, but Atallia and Liana would both be a pretty major stretch, at least in my mind.

-What I'm finding makes more and more sense as I think about it is to have him be this irritable, hotheaded little punk with a massive chip on his shoulder who was supposed to make a good impression at his first bridal selection ever, but some incident waylaid him by an entire day so now he has to settle for Day 2, work with what he can get lest he look like a fool, and he's not happy about that. Which is an interesting idea, but it wasn't really what I had in mind and it throws a lot of ideas I had for development further on right out the window.

And none of that is meant as a slam on the three brides in question, they're all fun characters that I'm looking forward to working with. I'm just having some issues getting the character I had in mind at conception and the character that fits the situation to line up properly, and I felt you all had a right to know why I jumped in so enthusiastically but haven't really done anything yet. As soon as I figure it out (and I have little doubt that I will eventually) I will get right on it, I just hope it comes quickly because nobody likes to wait. So, thank you very much for your patience.

@Holy Soldier There actually is a reason for it; I'm working with both Raijin and Talija on one large post, and with how the timeline we're working is going to line up with the GM Post it looks like Jaden is going to catch sight of the 2nd van and/or the skateboarder and start the chase right as Seth gets ready to put Zorua in a ball. While I could take him to the Center, I think if I did that Seth would be left behind with no real way to catch up.

EDIT: Talija has pointed out to me that I should have a stash of potions on hand, I'll just use those.

@Holy Soldier Question as I'm putting a collab together with Talija; would it be alright if Seth had a Heal Ball on him to catch Zorua with? It's looking like we're going to go from the meeting directly to the chase sequence, and with the detail Talija's gone into on the injuries Kaiser gave him in her bits so far I'd very much like it if Z could get some recovery on the fly, but I'm not sure what your policy was/is on special balls and their availability.
