Sunfur

Gender: Tom
Age: 72 moons
Rank: Warrior
Personality: Being raised in the luxury of kittypet life made Sunfur very relaxed, aloof and somewhat spoiled. A lot of the time, he is not as serious as he should be and fails to see the potential danger or threat in a given situation. He comes off as lazy and loves to bask in the center of camp soaking up sunlight. However, he is strong and loyal to WillowClan and makes a powerful line of defense against foxes, snakes and rogues.
Description: Long haired orange and white tom with amber eyes
Backstory: Sunfur spent the first few years of his life as a kittypet, but eventually grew tired of the constant routine and wanted something new. So one day, he said goodbye to his Twolegs and his housemate, wrestled free of his collar and set off into the forest to live free. Eventually he forgot his kittypet name; Cheeto, and smelled the scent of other cats. After following it, he wandered into the WillowClan camp and spoke to Fernstar about joining the Clan.

Age: 36 moons
Rank: Warrior
Personality: Overly optimistic, clingy and empathetic, Maplestream makes a wonderful friend to others, but she doesn't want to be one to herself. She lacks self confidence and the ability to trust her gut, so is always seeking validation from others. One could say she has anxiety issues.
Description: Small light brown she-cat with green eyes and a very long tail
History: Maplestream was born to a pair of kittypets and spent the her first few moons with her Twolegs and her Mother. Although her Mother was attentive in the beginning, all that changed when tragedy struck. Of her litter of four kits, Maplestream was the only one to survive. A mysterious illness slowly drained her siblings of their lives and her Mother became more and more distant with each of her kits deaths. She became so disheartened and distant that she never gave her last kit a name. When Maplestream grew big enough to hunt on her own, she said goodbye to her Mother and left her kittypet life to roam the forest. Shortly after, she met Sunfur and the two became friends. After meeting Fernsky and hearing the tales of the Clans, she chose her Warrior name and swore her life to WillowClan.

Fernstar

Gender: She-cat
Age: 48 moons
Rank: Leader
Personality: Intelligent, loyal, charismatic and calm, Fernstar makes a firm and protective leader. However, she is wary of cats who are not clear and genuine about their intentions; be it with her or the Clan as a whole. She seems to have very strong intuition and easily sees through those who lie. She is private with her emotions as well as her personal story, except with Maplestream, who is her best friend.
Description: Long haired calico she-cat with green eyes
Backstory: Fernstar, (originally Fernkit), was born to an ex-Clan Mother and a loner Father. Her Mother raised her alone in the forest, taught her the Warrior code, how to hunt and enough battle moves to defend herself if necessary. Shortly after Fernsky had been given her warrior name, her Mother disappeared suddenly. After searching and waiting for her for moons, she finally realized she had to strike out on her own and survive. While grieving the loss of her Mother, Fernsky made her own way hunting, exploring and learning every bush and gravel trail of the forest until eventually, she stumbled upon a group of loners living and hunting together.

The Rise of WillowClan

In the dense forest, among the shadows and rivers lies a Clan of cats. Fernkit's Mother had raised her telling the stories of Clan cats; the Warrior Code, their adventures and trials and what Clan life was like. She trained as an apprentice under her Mother's care for moons learning fighting, hunting and some healing skills. But her Mother's disappeared shortly after receiving her warrior name and Fernsky was left to fend for herself, alone in the forest. Learning every tree and trail while grieving the loss of her Mother, she stumbled upon two cats living and hunting together. After joining them, she told of the Clan cats and they decided to form a Clan. The two cats were given their Warrior names and swore to uphold and defend the Warrior Code. With Fernstar as their leader, Maplestream and Sunfur became the first two Warriors of WillowClan.

WillowClan's territory is deep in a dense forest made up of mostly pine and oak trees and multiple rapids. Fallen trees act as bridges that pass over large gorges and steep riverbanks. A few scattered meadows where trees clear offer short grass, bushes and sometimes flowers. The WillowClan camp is in one of these clearings. It is leafbare in the forest and the very small Clan is hungry and battling the cold. The rapids are frozen over, prey is hard to come by and dens need more padding. WillowClan is desperately searching for more cats to increase hunting patrols and explore more of the forest. Survival is difficult as the Clan's territory is dangerous and full of predators like bears, foxes, snakes and owls. Living the life of a Clan cat is dangerous but rewarding. Loving and fighting for your Clanmates is a privilege and an adventure. Will you swear to uphold and defend the Warrior Code, even at the cost of your life?

The Warrior Code

1) Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain with your Clan

2) Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory

3) Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors

4) Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for it's life

5) A kit must be at least 6 moons old to become an apprentice

6) Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name

7) A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice

8) The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires

9) After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before midnight

10) Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats

11) No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan

12)The word of a Clan leader is the warrior code

13) An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his or her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self defense

14) A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet

Rules

1) Know the Warrior Cats world in general: StarClan, the Warrior Code and how they speak; Humans are "Twolegs", genders are "toms" and "she-cats", seasons are leafbare and newleaf ect. This is why I would recommend reading at least a couple of the books before attempting to play
2) Clan cats must have Clan style names, loners/kittypets may have non-Clan names. If you join the Clan as a loner or a kittypet and want to be given a Warrior name, I will give you one IC and then go back to your character sheet and change their name. Want to cause trouble and play as a rogue? I accept the challenge; just PM me a small character sheet. No characters with the "star" suffix; that's leaders only.
3) No copies of cats from the series. I don't want to see any Lionblazes, Jayfeathers or Dovewings -_-
4) Going off the last rule, no cats with unreasonable powers. Not every cat gets a special power either; this isn't Magic the Gathering
5) There is no 18+ tag on this RP for a reason; don't get inappropriate in the IC
6) Tom/Tom and She-cat/She-cat relationships are allowed
7) PM me your character sheets before posting them in the CHAR tab
8) Message me with questions, complaints and ideas at any time

Warrior Cats RP

So because we only have myself, a couple NPC's and one real player, I've decided to post the IC and let people apply and settle into their roles first and I trust a story line will emerge from there. As you will read, the environment is VERY harsh right now and surviving will be a struggle. Please feel free to make and submit your character sheets and PM them to me!

Warrior Cats RP

Assuming @eklispe is good with being my deputy, other positions available are warriors (of course), kits, apprentices, elders and a medicine cat. Medicine cat is a must have. If you choose to be an apprentice you can do one of two things: collaborate with another player to be your mentor, or just make one up and refer to them as you play mentioning your training, getting scolded, performing apprentice duties so on and so forth. If you choose to play as a kit, in your character sheet you must say who your mother is, and again, another player can be your mother or a made up cat that is not part of the Clan. Also say whether you were born in the Clan, or were brought into it by another cat. In the near future, when you make your character sheet please PM it to me and I will either approve it or have you make changes before posting it. In the first OOC there will be a "rules" tab. . . PLEASE READ IT. I think that's all I have to say for right now. I am working on a story line at this very moment so I will have something soon!
