He loves to make pretty things, but doesn't like keeping them for himself.

He lifts up his khakis to show her the the colourfully knitted socks sticking out of his olive green sneakers. "We both cook. My specialty is small game, and she makes a killer turkey curry. She cooks turkey breast and shreds the meat, then mixes it with various veggies, raisons, and curry, then puts it all on rice vermicelli noodles. What is your favorite dish? Do you have any of those blankets of yours with you that you could show me?"

History: Pons was born into the Southeast Asian culture of acceptance and even veneration for transgendered persons. Back home, he has a pet turtle, a pet monkey, a pet ... well, the house is full of animals he cares for. His father works for the government in an office, and his mother works as a secretary. But her grandmothers both live at home, and dote on their little Pons. Nevertheless, Pons is not unfamiliar with hardship. Two years ago her parents were both unemployed, and Pons and his 2 brothers and 2 sisters were homeless. Pons's father had lost his job and within 1 week both of his grandfathers died tragically. He was very grateful that his life was turning around.
One day she was looking through boxes in the attic when she noticed stars shining beyond a dark section she had never noticed before. She investigated and found that there was another section of the attic and painted on the far wall was a beautiful representation of the night sky. Holes had been punched through the wall to let in light around the brighter stars. As she stared she noticed a galaxy swirling, and touched it with her finger. Suddenly she was pulled off her feet and into the painting.

"Wow!" Jonas says, almost sounding sincere, "That sounds quite interesting. Do you have any hobbies? I've never bothered to make the investment, but I've always fantasized about modifying my arms. I even have some schematics done up. But look at me," he spreads his arms apologetically, "here I am, asking about you but telling you all about me. But really, what do you like to do for fun? Do you have any family?"
