Pons watched in awe as a young man fell from the sky. At first she doubted her sanity, but then she remembered reading Alice, and decided to believe in at least this one impossible thing before breakfast. She then watched as yet another impossible thing occurred, as the lady glided toward them.

Wallach tried desperately to land on his feet, and just barely managed to do so. He also watched as Lady Violetta glided toward them, and then asked her question. He said, "No ma'am."

Pons said, "No, I'm fine."

Then Wallach and Pons both remembered what she said and said, "Wait, did you say (Magic Talents){Draconic arts}?" as their eyes both lit up like fireworks.

"That blanket is beautiful. If your professional work is half as good as your hobby work, you will go very far! I can't wait till we arrive. I'm meeting my family at the city when we arrive there. Have you ever been to the Resort?" After her response, Jonas scans the room again. "Do you know any of these guys? That guy, or that guy?" he said, pointing first to Alexander, then to Uruka.

OOC: I assume the following character will die during the crash, or soon after as fodder. Feel free to control her. She is a typical busybody and friendly nurse.
Another woman, who had been reading a newspaper, looked up when Jonas pointed, and noticed him pointing to Uruka. She walked over to the pair, and introduced herself, "Hi, my name is Shenza. I'm a nurse. I actually work with Uruka - he's that one." She says, gesturing to Uruka. "Such a nice man. I hear he graduated top of his class!" Of course, being a gossip, she may have been exaggerating. "I got good grades too. Where did you two go to school?"

Jonas responds, "I went to the Micmac Institute of Technology."

When and how do the dragon rider students meet their dragons?
Is that up to us?
Can it happen on Earth?
Do Dragon and Rider arrive simultaneously, or do they meet at the gathering?

Pons:
Pons fell into the painting. The sensation was odd, to say the least. He could feel his body leave the world he had always known, and zoom toward a small spec in the midst of a swirling sea of stars. The tiny spec grew into a magnificent planet of blue, white and green. One small patch of green began to fill his entire view, until he could feel gravity take hold of him. The mysterious force that had transported him this far, set him down neither too gently nor too hard. He found himself in what he would soon call the Fall. To his left was a tall building, and across the way, another green field.

Wallach:
Wallach was wandering through an art gallery, when he stumbled upon an intriguing painting. It was an image of a unique dragon - one that he had seen before only in his dreams. As he stared at it, he noticed a hair had stuck to the image, and decided to brush it off. As soon as his hand came near the painting, he began to fall. The world flashed different colours and he felt himself falling into a field with a young girl in it.
