This is a lot to read through. I'll look at everyone's posts in a bit. For now, I'm going over the application. I'm creating a green mage.

@EllriGood question, I write a lot of modern/urban fantasy pieces, so anything within that genre works well for role playing. In addition, I like gritty true-to-life pieces. Occasionally, I take a breather and switch to slice-of-life writing. Post-apocalyptic and cyberpunk are fun too. I tend to stray away from historical work because my knowledge is a bit lacking in that area.

@AphelionI only played the demo, but have a lot of friends who play ARR. I might try it out this summer.

@Everyone: Which game in the series are we going to base combat roles on?

This is my first time joining an RP site. I’m an avid writer who has been crafting stories since grade school. Role play sites seem like good places to test/improve my in-character writing and world building skills. Since I’m new to everything, feedback and advice would be great. Hey, a Final Fantasy RP sounds fun. World-building is one of my favorite parts about crafting stories, so I'm all for forming history and culture. I think a small group RP would be best. This is what I imagine, each RP member can have a character that would act as a party member in an actual game. As for format, I prefer casual. Classes keep me a bit too busy for advance.
