Akal, the Glutton

Why be myself, when I can be so many others?
Age:
Assumed to be somewhere in mid to late thirties.

DOB:
August 24th

Gender:
Male

Sexuality:
Akal is attracted to corpses, simply because of the fact that he longs to taste their dead flesh in his mouth.

Magic Type:
Caster

Mage Rank:
Assumed to be Very High A

Magic:
Absorption Magic
Absorption Magic was the first magic learned by Akal. Whoever his body formerly belonged to had known this form of magic. Akal did not know about it until one day he ate a Mimic Mage. He was already devouring people when it came to his attention. It was a perfect match, considering that he absolutely positively savored the sweet and savory taste of flesh. Rotting flesh, tough flesh, soft flesh, charred flesh, it doesn’t matter to Akal. It’s all good and tasty.

Flesh Smithing
The second and only other magic learned by Akal "naturally", Flesh Smithing is a strange and vile art passed on to him by his guild master. Knowing this strange and disgusting magic, Akal is able to use the flesh of the dead and manipulate it into strange and wild golem-like creatures, as well as use their blood to add to his magical abilities, at least for a time. However, he does not use it as often as he can, due to the sole fact that flesh used in this magic becomes inedible and turns into an unidentifiable goo when the effects wear off, oh and the fact that the flesh-golems have a tendency to run rampant and attack friend and foe alike.

Mimic
A form of Mimic that Akal obtained after eating his first victim. Like the other forms of Mimic, this allows the user to copy an opponent’s magic. However, since this has been obtained through Akal’s absorption magic, all magic copied is noticeably weaker. There's also the chance of Akal really messing the smell up and hurting himself with it. That doesn’t mean that it’s useless though.

Satan Soul: Reaver
The Reaver, at least in Akal’s own description, was a very strange demon that only existed some time ago in the distant past; a shadow-like figure that toyed with its victims and devoured their very souls. Akal was taught Satan Soul: Reaver, so it is unwise to trust his words on the matter. The form of the Reaver is a shadow-like monster that feasts on the flesh of the dead. The more flesh it consumes, the more powerful it becomes. A perfect fit for a cannibalistic absorption mage. But, the longer he persists in this form, the less rational he becomes. Given enough time, he will turn not only against allies, but even against himself in a desperate attempt to quell the endless hunger that gnaws at his belly.

While in the form of the Reaver, Akal loses all of his magic, and instead gains the ability to use a significantly changed variant of Absorption Curse, rather than Absorption Magic. However, when the Reaver form wears off, is defeated, or somehow dispelled, Akal is significantly weakened and cannot use magic for some time. For these reasons, Akal rarely uses it and when he does, he will retreat at the first sign of serious danger, into a place where he believes he will be safe. One side-effect of knowing this magic is the fact that he always looks like he is in a significantly weaker version of the form, until he enters it. For this reason, his guild master Ishak, has jokingly referred to it as his "true form".

Spells:
Identity Theft
A strange “spell” that Akal does not quite remember learning, the truth is that the combination of Absorption Magic and Mimic Magic, only improved by his newfound knowledge of Satan Soul: Reaver. Only a spell in the loosest term possible, Identity Theft has warped Akal into, in “his own words”, “the most beautiful thing imaginable”. Whenever he consumes a person, whether it be using Absorption Magic or Absorption Curse, their memories, personality, and such, are added into Akal’s own. Akal’s own personality is the strongest willed, and thus it is the one that is in control for most of the time. However, there are moments of weakness where the others will seize control. This is usually done when Akal is tired and weak-willed, though there are brief moments that happen frequently, where someone other than Akal will speak.

Flesh Golem
Akal uses his disgusting abilities as a Fleshsmith to morph the flesh of an enemy's corpse into a raging golem. This golem tends to attack everyone that it can. Luckily, these golems are usually very weak. However, if there are enough corpses with flesh within the area, he can raise a small army of these raging golems, though he tends not to do that because they tear each other apart; but he can also use this flesh to create one large and hard to destroy raging golem. This spell is usually used as a last-resort as Akal retreats.

Blood Lust
Akal uses his fleshsmithing abilities to tear the blood from a corpse and use it to empower his abilities. This makes his Magic significantly more powerful, though it also makes him very hungry. After using Blood Lust, if he does not eat at least part of a victim's corpse, then his magical ability will fall significantly, and his abilities will be weaker than they usually are.

Capture
Tasty meals also mean new magic, sometimes.

Mimic
It is worth noting, this is significantly weaker than normal and Akal occasionally hurts himself with it, even if cast correctly and at his opponent.

Biography:
Akal found himself walking down a path. He was alone, but on his way to see someone. The smell of cooking meat was strong in his nose. A smile crept across his face as he licked his lips and savored the smell. But he was close now, and he turned right. Right again. Then he turned left. Then he continued straight for a long while. Then right. Then he awoke. Akal tossed and turned as he awoke with an angry look on his brow. It was that nightmare again, the one that he always had. It angered him. He was unsure of whose memories it was, but he knew it was the result of so many personalities in his mind. Each dream was a vivid memory, remembered in disturbing detail. He was able to see the world through their eyes, but what he saw disturbed him.

Akal wasn’t always Akal. This much he knew. Sometimes he was someone else, other times he was everyone at once, but on occasion, he was nobody at all. The personalities gnawed at him. They hated him. They loathed being imprisoned. But it wasn’t Akal’s fault. Akal had not been the one to begin this unholy and twisted practice. It was, in fact, the original personality. A personality lost to time, or perhaps buried beneath the rest, to be forgotten by them. But this personality was a monster in its own right. Whereas Akal was not the most morally correct person, he never dreamed of keeping the conscious mind of his victim as a prisoner within his own mind. But whoever had killed Akal had. The two were alike, that much he knew. They both devoured. But where Akal devoured out of desire to taste delicious meat, the first personality had devoured others to absorb and learn. They both craved something so much that it had driven them to madness. Perhaps they were the same, but Akal had forgotten.

But Akal was a resilient personality, one that did not desire to be anyone else. The other, was a weak willed and envious personality. It had desired to be something other than itself, something it felt would be better. It learned to absorb others to try and satisfy this deep and infinitesimal craving. In the end, it had destroyed itself. The minds in inherited through this cruel practice were hateful and angry. They only let him see the world through their eyes because they were unable to control it. When he slept, he would dream their dreams and see their memories. It was a maddening existence, but it took no toll on the already mad personality that longed to see the world through their eyes. Few things made Akal stop to think, but this was one of those things. Even a man so lost as Akal would not be that envious, surely. The man wanted to be everyone other than himself, though he did not loathe himself. He simply wanted more. In the end, he got nothing.

That is, he had gotten what he craved. He got nothing for himself, other than the viewpoints of the other personalities that existed within him. He had gotten nothing, but at the same time, he had gained much. But that was his downfall. In his bliss, he became weak. Akal took his opportunity and took control. He hungered still. He needed to eat; he needed to consume the flesh of those that had lived. How long had Akal been like this? He knew not, for he spent countless eternities spiraling deep into madness while a prisoner in that vile being’s mind. Perhaps he hadn’t always been this way. But he was now, and that was all that mattered. He hungered for the flesh that he no longer had. Sure, he had the flesh of the original personality, but that was not his. He grew jealous of the others, and this is what led to the hunger that gnawed at him.

The cannibal named Akal found that eating others was the only thing that gave him pleasure in life. The fact that he had known the same type of magic that the original personality had known, only served to give him a reason to eat others. Absorption Magic, what a thing it was. He savored the digesting of a person whom he had consumed whole. It was an exhilarating thing, one that made him very happy. But his violence soon brought him to the attention of a powerful guild. He had eaten a few of their members, gaining their memories and thoughts, he gained their souls effectively.

But instead of being punished, he was rewarded. He was promised an endless source of food, so long as he would bring certain people to the guild master, whom was ancient beyond understanding. The guild master took pity on the creature and took him underneath his metaphorical wing. He taught Akal control, discipline, and magic that Akal never thought he would know. He brought some semblance of sanity back to the maddened personality. He taught him the uses of flesh beyond devouring. And he also taught him the form of the Reaver: a form that worked all too well with Akal’s unique “position”.

Akal no longer devoured so frequently, though the hunger gnawed endlessly at him, he was able to resist it. Instead, he became a servant to Necropolis. He would fetch those that the guild master needed to stay alive. Those that the guild master rejected, he devoured. Those that the guild master needed punished, he devoured. But Necropolis gave him purpose; a purpose that was much needed. Akal is a lost soul; his only purpose is to serve Necropolis and to devour. He must satisfy his endless hunger, a task that will never be achieved. But he will serve Necropolis. It is this that drives him; and it is the fact that this drives him that has earned him a place in Necropolis' Dead Triumvirate, ever obeying the commands Ishak has given him, as if he were nothing but a loyal dog.

Personality:
Deranged, psychotic, hungry, conflicted, split.
All of these are words that describe Akal. Mad with hunger and rage, the man known as Akal is hungry for the flesh that most living men carry on their bones. This hunger drives him to do heinous acts that any sane man would deem disgusting and awful. Akal’s unique talent of absorbing the minds of those he eats only serves to madden him more. On occasion, he will be someone other than Akal. Sometimes he is someone else, other times he is everyone trapped within himself at once, but on occasion, he is nobody at all. However, Akal is able to remain calm and orderly, even able to carry on a proper conversation. At least, he is now. Ishak is to thank for this, for he is the one who took Akal in as his own. The true nature of Akal is seen usually when he is hungry, though it can also be seen when he is determined to fulfill a task for Ishak. This is his only purpose, or at least the only thing that he believes is his purpose. While Akal is indeed mad, it may be hard to find out at first. That is, at least, until he starts ranting about the delectable taste of flesh in between his teeth and upon his tongue.

Or he lets his guard down just enough to where one of the many personalities trapped as prisoner within him attempt to wrest control from him.

The many personalities trapped within Akal have a tendency to try and do that, in fact. It is only with a steel will and an unending hunger gnawing at him that he is able to remain in control most of the time. Occasionally he may stop in the middle of something (including combat) to attempt to regain a "foothold" in the constant battle that rages within himself. The most obvious sign that one personality has temporarily knocked him out of his place is when it starts talking. It will usually scream, beg for mercy or death, cry, etc. Though after a short time, Akal is able to regain control. Luckily, this is not too common of an occurrence.

Akal himself, when in public, will hug his cloak tight and keep quiet. He is usually accompanied by someone, so seeing this is rare. The reasoning he gives behind this is the fact that he drools when seeing "such tasty looking meats and juices". It takes a lot of effort to conceal his shaky hands, but he can do it, and will in public. While not shy by any means, he is cautious up until the point where it is not necessary. Despite his aggressive nature, he tends not to enter conflict too often, instead preferring to do his business in the darkened corners of slums, where none will miss his victims.

Arsenal:
Cloak
"The last link to the original owner of Akal's body. It has since become a part of Akal, erasing any link it might have had with the original owner's past."
A cloak that has become one with Akal, it appears as a solid shadow thanks to his attunement with Satan Soul: Reaver.

Carnivore’s Teeth
"When he descended far enough into madness, he became naught but a beast driven by hunger. Despite being reeducated by Ishak, he still uses his natural weapons, for they are all he knows how to."
Akal’s only weapons are his magic and his body.

Other Details:
Akal has the shakes due to his cannibalistic nature. No guild mark that is visible, though when asked about it he says that it is actually somewhere along his arm. He never says which arm, though. It's likely that he's only saying that to avoid getting an actual guild mark.

Akal also refuses to eat embalmed corpses. He claims that "they taste all wrong. No juice in their meats."

Akal, the Reaver

"His magical power is only matched by his hunger. He is truly a threat to us all.'"
- Ebzidan, Great Hobo of Verde
Age:
The Reaver Form itself is ancient, taught to Akal by Ishak.

DOB:
Akal learned Satan Soul: Reaver on February 7th

Gender:
Male

Sexuality:
N/A

Magic Type:
Curse

Mage Rank:
Still assumed to be very high A, though restricted to very few spells initially.

Magic:
Absorption Curse
The Absorption Curse that Akal employs is much weaker than a true demon’s, as well as much different, though it is still more powerful than his Absorption Magic. While he cannot absorb souls or magic through touch, he may still stretch his limbs into unholy proportions. This does not hurt him, due to his strange shadowy nature. When he eats a corpse in the form of the Reaver, he gains the victim’s magic as well their soul, for the remainder of his time spent within the Reaver form. He can unleash these souls in the form of a minion that will help him to feast more. These minions, when slain, will weaken the Reaver form, due to the fact that they are still empowering it. As the Reaver form collects more souls, it is able to sustain itself for longer, as well as become stronger physically and magically. Given enough fuel, the Reaver can become a very intimidating foe, though the amount of fuel for this to happen would be very, very, very hard to gather. Even if they are killed, the souls that Akal absorbs will have identities that join with the mind of Akal.

Spells:
Warp
A simpler spell in the form of the Reaver, Akal warps himself into a monster-like figure by stretching his limbs to disgusting proportions.

Protector
A spell that allows Akal to summon any of the souls he has consumed as the Reaver into battle, albeit in a much weaker and smaller form.

Feast
While not really a spell, Akal is able to feast on the corpses of fallen victims, absorbing their souls (as well as magic) and gaining power in return. The more victims consumed, the more powerful he becomes; and the longer he is able to stay within this disgusting form.

Tainted Absorption
Due to the corrupt and demonic nature of the Reaver form, the magic Akal absorbs within the Reaver form is only kept until he returns to his standard form, however, due to this very same nature, the magic he uses is stronger than the originally absorbed magic.

Biography:
He remembers the first time he took on the Reaver form in excruciating detail. It hurt. It hurt a lot. It changed him forever. It made him a shadow of his former self, literally. His belly, as well as his mind, cried out in pain unimaginable, but not impossible. It filled his mind with even more madness that first time. It made his hunger increase. He became hostile towards his teacher. He lashed out in anger and slew him. But this was not Akal's memory. It was someone else's. Not Ishak's, but it was something Ishak had remembered. Akal's first transformation was a success. He had been warned about the nightmares that would haunt him for some time. But still, they paled in comparison to those that haunted him already. This was why he was so successful in using the Reaver form.

The hunger pains Akal. But it pains him much more when he is the Reaver. This is because it drowns out the other personalities within his mind, it quiets them and allows them to rest. But not Akal. Akal is conscious as the Reaver. Since there are no other voices yelling in his mind, he is alone with his thoughts, and thus alone with his hunger. The hunger pains him much more because of this. But every meal serves to satisfy it unlike any other. Each new meal is new and unique, each meal satisfies not only his belly, but also his mind. It makes his soul calm. But when he leaves this form, there are always more voices in the mind. They drown out the pain, but also other things that Akal does not care about. They yell at first, giving Akal a headache. But soon they calm down and accept their fate, quieting and sometimes even silencing themselves. The Reaver is a parasite, but Akal does not realize this entirely.

Akal was not taught Satan Soul: Reaver like many are taught certain forms of magic. Instead, he was entitled to a piece of Ishak's own memory of the magic. While many might compare it to a Lost Magic, that is not the case at all. It is in fact a form of Satan Soul, though one that was never quite popular. Perhaps this is because of the strange toll it takes on its practitioners. But as Akal is already quite mad, he loses very little. Or maybe he is just blind to how much, exactly, he is losing. All that matters to him is that it quiets the personalities within him, it makes him calm. It is a beautiful thing, in his eyes. It is part of him. It was taught to him by Ishak, the one who brought sanity back to the maddened Akal. It is a reminder of that.

The longer he is the Reaver, the more reason is lost to ever return to his normal form. With the ability to consume souls, why would he ever wish to return to his normal form? If he exists as the Reaver for too long, he becomes like a lost beast, ignoring all reason and complex thought. He attacks foes and allies alike, even turning on himself if there is nothing else to quell his hunger with. The longer his stays like this, the further he falls into madness. Perhaps he knows this, perhaps not. But regardless, Satan Soul: Reaver is a very risky magic, giving him power, in return for the souls of friends, allies, and foes, as well as his small amount of sanity. Beyond this much, Akal knows little about the true nature of the form of the Reaver, though he believes it is more powerful than he lets on.

Arsenal:
Reaver Form
"The hunger only worsens when he shifts into his Reaver form. But that just makes each meal that much more satisfactory."
While in the Reaver form, Akal's already vicious teeth and unarmed skill are made even more vicious. With each soul absorbed by the Reaver and each ounce of flesh consumed, these vicious things become even more powerful.

Other Details:
The Reaver's antlers can grow along with its limbs. When Akal is in this form, he does not suffer from the shakes or his unstable personalities. However, the hunger he feels is increased by a number so big that he cannot imagine it. That is why, when he leaves the Reaver form, he is exhausted.

Scrub Mage, what is your stance on multiple characters?

I don't see a problem with multiple characters, as long as you don't interact with only yourself.
There are a few other nitpicks down that path, but none that I can think of immediately.
SkrubLord: My liege, it is with honor that I, the Royal Scrub Magus, grant thee access to Drift.

Edit: Tacking my application onto this post for convenience.

I’ll see to it that the enemies of the Xanthous Knights become nothing more but another of my meals.” – Xanthous Knight; Leviathan

Vessel name:
Xanthous Knight; Leviathan

Vessel identification number:
24114198152018

Vessel history:
Born of Galatrazh Worms and Contrived by the Denizens of the Deep, Xanthous Knight; Leviathan is a thing of wonder. The first attempt at engineering a Galatrazh Worm that could live for an eternity, grow infinitely, and survive in space, the Leviathan took millions of years to perfect. And she’s just the prototype. Leviathan, a sentient warship, started out alone in a lab. She was small, smaller than even the eggs of the tiny Gilkni. But she was taken care of, and eventually she grew. Galatrazh Worms grow fast, but when they’re bioengineered by the best the Xanthous Knights have to offer, they grow at ridiculous speeds. She was catered to by an old Azhedae, by the name of Azhu. He was her father, and she loved him dearly. He taught her all that she needed to know, and when she grew too big for her home, he showed her the wonders of Xanthous.

As she continued growing, she began to dwarf even the hugest of the other Galatrzh Worms. She feared that she would grow too big, but Abzhu told her that was her purpose. She learned from him, and eventually from others too. They taught her to fight, they instilled their ideals into her. She was a Xanthous Knight before she turned fifty. Truly an impressive feat, but not so impressive once you realize she was bred to by hyper-intelligent. It was then that she began to be modified, changed “for the better”. She could swim faster and harder than ever before, and she even felt lighter. But still, she worried.

She only stopped worrying after the enhancements and training stopped, and she was sent to the stars by means that she didn’t quite understand. When her crew joined her, she heard their voices echo within her. And then she felt them tickle her insides. She was small, then, but she grew, and she grew fast. The huge lake within her dwarfs most industrial complexes. She’s able to survive in space due to heavy genetic adjustments, as well as that huge lake within her. That’s where she gets her hydration, and provides her crew with Oxygen. She survives off of the hydration alone, producing oxygen inside of herself. When she grows, she produces more water as well.

Leviathan ate many ships, and the organic modules that were melded with her grew too. They weren’t her friends, they were her brothers. Her crew was too. But soon the defending stopped, and they were given new orders. They were ordered to be the Vanguard of the Xanthous Knights. What that meant was unclear to everyone, but so far, all they do is hunt down petty criminals and try to kill pirates. While the Xanthous Knights aren’t the most loved force in the galaxy, most people are wise enough to avoid attacking one of their organic ships. Even if they succeeded, it’d mean an all-out war.

So far, Leviathan has grown into a monster, and ever her official documents say so. She swims through space, with a natural faster than light drive helping her speed to her destinations within rather short amounts of time. This, combined with her all-natural quantum entanglement abilities, helps her serve the Xanthous Knights with ease. Every piece of Leviathan has a mind of its own, and all of these pieces are able to telepathically communicate. Leviathan is a force to be reckoned with, but luckily she doesn’t go around starting wars.

Vessel occupation:
Vanguard of the Xanthous Knights
Dreadnought/Bioengineered Galatrazh Worm

Crew members:
The entire crew of Xanthous Knight; Leviathan are a cohesive unit, including Leviathan, Doom, Fiend, Demon, Plague, and Guardian. All are able to tap into the mind of Leviathan, thanks to augments to each of their forms. They are closer to one another than most platoons in other militaries. The Xanthous Knights do not view Leviathan as a ship, but as another member of the order; and rightly so.

Xanthous Knight; Abzhu

Age: 1283
Species: Azhedae
“It is an honor to tend to the Leviathan’s needs.”
Abzhu is the head bioengineer onboard Leviathan, appointed to her by the Triumvirate of the Xanthous Knights themselves. Abzhu is known across the entirety of the Xanthous Knights for his capabilities, which he is sure to put to use aboard Xanthous Knight; Leviathan. Abzhu is the oldest member aboard Leviathan and has been with her since her birth. He was an obvious candidate, being like a father to the living ship. He’s got very little combat training, but he’s great at keeping the ship alive and well.

Xanthous Knight; Dal

Age: 938
Species: Dras
“If you put me aboard Leviathan, she won’t die.”
Dal is the head tactician onboard Leviathan, appointed to her by the Triumvirate of the Xanthous Knights themselves. Dal is not very well known across the entirety of the Xanthous Knights, preferring that his exploits to be kept quiet. He was behind the fastest, most brutal, and most decisive victories that the Xanthous Knights have ever seen, so he was selected for the vanguard. Many disputed this decision and even the Triumvirate had mixed feelings when deciding the Leviathan’s crew. But when Dal stepped up to speak, he convinced those who doubted the decision that it was the right one.

Xanthous Knight; Toille

Age: 2,683
Species: Tyr
“Tarx n’ me’ll gutchya. Well, I ‘ill. He’ll prolly jus’ talk with ya.”
Toille, one of the Twin Tyr Traxyes, is a carnivore through and through. He eats nothing but meat, but his favorite is the flesh and muscle of some of the sentient races. To him, they are a delicacy. Though, his only real weapons are his trident and his mouth. While he may seem to serve no role, Toille and Tarx are actually the chief political figures aboard Leviathan. Their routine is similar to Good Cop/Bad Cop and it’s pretty effective. Toille and Tarx are the oldest members aboard Leviathan, and when people contact the Leviathan, Toille and Tarx are the ones to negotiate. Though, Tarx does most of the negotiating unless they’re threatened. That doesn’t happen a lot, so Toille is a man of few words. The Twin Tyr Traxyes were appointed to Leviathan by the triumvirate when the project was first revealed. Initially, the twins were going to decline the offer, but after the Tyr elders advised them to accept it, they did it quite eagerly.

Xanthous Knight; Azakiel

Age: 805
Species: Azhedae
“I just make sure everything breeds correctly, really.”
Azakiel is a zoologist, he makes sure the environment inside of Leviathan is stable and makes sure that everything breeds correctly. He wasn’t a particularly popular zoologist, especially after his abusive experiments were exposed, however he was framed. His experiments were always very successful, and very humane. He was able to figure out what made most animals tick, but he specialized in studying them and making sure they were happy. He was already enlisted aboard Xanthous Knight; Tiny, but his superiors recommended him for promotion upon seeing huge improvements with Tiny. His dossier was selected by the triumvirate, seeing as how Tiny was one of the top-class warships in the Xanthous Knight fleet.

Xanthous Knight; Gublix

Age: 212
Species: Gilkni
“Tradition is tradition. Luckily for me, tradition has me hunting down vulnerable prey.”
Gublix is one of the traditional Gilkni “Prowlers”, and the only one aboard Leviathan. Armed with nothing more than traditional Gilkni arms and armor, as well as night-vision goggles, the Gilkni are fast and efficient in close combat. Gublix, the youngest of the traditional prowlers, is hyper and excitable, drawing the attention of their targets. In conversation, his excitability and aggression makes him a hassle to deal with. But he gets the job done. As a prowler, his job is to defend the Leviathan, and silently eliminate enemy crew during boarding operations. He was picked by the triumvirate due to being one of three remaining traditionally picked Gilkni prowlers.

Xanthous Knight; Gishki

Age: 198
Species: Gilkni
“Us Gilkni may not be as hardy as the deep folk, but we’re still damned tough.”
Gishki is calm and collected, more so than the other Gilkni member, Gublix. Her attacks are made with precision and her wit is unmatched by most other Gilkni. But she chose a life of fighting, or rather, was forced into it when her tiny home world of Gi’xr’bi was invaded by slavers. She was taken from her home and raised to fight in a ring. She enjoyed her life, and eventually found herself without any opponent left to fight. She was purchased by the triumvirate, and assigned to serve on Leviathan. Many have wondered why Gishki was selected, but they haven’t seen her cut a man in half quicker than he can blink.

Xanthous Knight: Abdal

Age: 802
Species: Azhedae
“Chum is pretty tasty.”
Abdal is a soldier, through and through. She was selected because of her combat record and her lack of kin. With a ferocious record of defending her previous ships, as well as her home-planet of Xynz during the first days of the Xanthous Knight’s conflict with a rivaling faction since wiped out, Abdal was a fine fit for Leviathan. Her duty, as well as her desire, is to stay aboard the ship, only springing to action to defend. Her personality is hard and gritty, but she does her job rather well. She finds it annoying that she hardly ever has to defend, but she passes the time by helping with small tasks.

Xanthous Knight; Tarx

Age: 2,683
Species: Tyr
“I’ve got a silver tongue. No really, look. Gotchya.”
Tarx is responsible for the heavy lifting around Leviathan. He makes sure cargo goes where it’s needed. But he does other things too, like make sure that the communications array stays intact. He’s also one of the Twin Tyr Traxyes. But what he does differently from Toille, is he talks. He talks a lot. He’s actually in charge of diplomacy on market stations and such. His size and stature come in handy for that. But what most people don’t know is that Tarx is a gentle giant. He’s a vegetarian too. He was picked to serve aboard Leviathan due to his close relationship with Toille.

Xanthous Knight; Dushka

Age: 862
Species: Dras
“Leviathan’s healthy and I plan to keep it that way.”
Dushka is responsible for making sure that all of the organs are in working order, as well as the head doctor onboard. She makes sure everything is in working order and was selected, with hesitation, by the triumvirate. Without a doubt one of the most useful doctors within the Xanthous Knights, her being recruited to serve aboard Leviathan was a controversial idea, as she was the head of disease research among the Xanthous Knights. But then again, that’s also why she was chosen; her knowledge of diseases that afflict and the anatomy, of the numerous species within the Order of Xanthous Knights, is unrivaled.

Xanthous Knight; Leviathan
“Sometimes people ask me how I survive without water. Truth is, I keep it all inside me.”
Age: 135 (However, it is worth noting that most of this was spent in the Xanthous Knight’s home sectors, learning and being adapted to living in space)
Species: Heavily modified bioengineered Galatrazh Worm
A hyper-intelligent organism that was bred and engineered by the head engineers of the Xanthous Knight order, Leviathan was created as the Vanguard of the Xanthous Knights. Able to interface with the mind of its crew, the Xanthous Knight; Leviathan is its own captain. It has a will and mind of its own, but it is too big and too augmented to exist without a crew. The crew mostly exists as maintenance, but they are armed and ready to board enemies, as well as protect the innards of Xanthous Knight; Leviathan.

Features:
Armored Chitin
While the Xanthous Knight; Leviathan, has much of its flesh exposed, some of it is covered in a chitin that resembles the steel used in many other ships. This chitin acts as armor that is nearly as strong as said steel, but not quite. Luckily, the Xanthous Knight; Leviathan was installed with another organic module that helps it sustain itself in long fights.

Aquarium
Xanthous Knight; Leviathan, on the inside, resembles that of an aquarium. Filled with water, sea-life, and even plants; this is to keep the crew healthy and in shape, as well as an anti-boarding measure. It is here in near-total darkness that the fish-like crew of the Xanthous Knight; Leviathan tends to her needs. There exist no obvious rooms on the ship, with it being an open environment surrounding its innards. There is no kitchen, but there is an inner-maw that the crew can feed Xanthous Knight; Leviathan through, when she’s deprived of food. Doing so, however, drains the crew’s food supply for a few months, at least.

Xanthous Knight; Guardian
An organism that has been bred to interface with Xanthous Knight; Leviathan, Xanthous Knight; Guardian, is a small parasite-like organism, residing in Xanthous Knight; Leviathan’s inner organs. It has tendrils that link it to each of these organs, as well as the skeleton structure. This strange organism creates a kinetic barrier around the Leviathan by manipulating electromagnetic waves.

Xanthous Knight; Doom
An organism that has been bred to interface with Xanthous Knight; Leviathan, Xanthous Knight; Doom, is actually a series of tendrils linked together by one mind that interfaces directly with Leviathan’s own. These tendrils shoot out when close enough, grabbing an enemy ship and either crushing it if it is small enough, or pulling it close enough to Xanthous Knight; Leviathan’s maw so it can eat it. Sometimes Xanthous Knight; Doom will pull an enemy ship close enough that it can be boarded by Xanthous Knight; Leviathan’s smaller crew members.

Xanthous Knight; Fiend
An organism that has been bred to interface with Xanthous Knight; Leviathan, Xanthous Knight; Fiend, spawns trillions of microorganisms that serve different purposes. This ranges from allied-healing, to enemy-corrosion.

Xanthous Knight; Demon
An organism that has been bred to interface with Xanthous Knight; Leviathan, Xanthous Knight; Demon, is more akin to a very powerful rail gun than an actual living organism. This weapon is able to pierce through shields and armor with ease, but takes time to charge and requires its own fuel source.

Xanthous Knight; Plague
An organism that has been bred to interface with Xanthous Knight; Leviathan, Xanthous Knight; Plague, is perhaps the most terrifying of the organic weapons connected to Leviathan. Only able to attack when kinetic barriers are down, a hole in the ship’s hull created, and it pulled within range; Xanthous Knight; Plague spreads a very contagious and very fatal disease aboard a ship. This disease is slow, painful, and contagious enough to cause an epidemic, if it weren’t for the Xanthous Knight; Leviathan’s habit of eating ships that get close enough.

Note: Doom, Fiend, Demon, and Plague are all mounted within Leviathan's maw, making her maw a VERY vulnerable point. This also means she has a hard time attacking anything not in front of her, though she compensates for that with Guardian's powerful shields and her natural maneuverability.

Xanthous Knight; Leviathan is also augmented with numerous organic alternatives to things such as Faster-Than-Light Drives, and even a long-range communication set. As well as back ups of all of these in the event they're destroyed.
Xanthous Knight; Leviathan moves at a very slow pace unless travelling at faster-than-light speeds, but she takes a long time to charge that up.

Height/Weight/Length:
While many people estimate the Leviathan to be a huge warship that cannot be measured, official documents state the following:
H: ~1 km
W: 6 Trillion Metric Tons; Mass: 6.12244898 × 10^14 kilograms
L: ~3km
These are most likely inaccurate, due to the Leviathan only growing bigger with each victory.

Rooms:
Aquarium
See Features.

Interface A
A small room that holds the internal organs of Doom

Interface B
A small room that holds the internal organs of Fiend

Interface C
A small room that holds the internal organs of Demon

Interface D
A small room that holds the internal organs of Plague

Guardian Chamber
A medium-sized room that contains the internal organs of Guardian, This chamber is the biggest liability, because if it were to be destroyed, the kinetic shields would go down and the non-armored parts of Leviathan would be vulnerable to attack.

Breeding Chamber
A chamber that is used for breeding repair organs for Leviathan, Doom, Fiend, Demon, Plague, and Guardian. It is also used to breed the numerous types of fish that live inside of each organism.

Airlock
An airlock that is used for boarding, as well as entering marketplaces, the only special thing about this airlock is the fact that it comes with masks to keep the Xanthous Knights hydrated when they leave the Leviathan. Oh, it also drains the water in it by absorbing it back into itself when it’s boarding a dry vessel, which is kinda neat.

Everything else:
The Leviathan has a wide variety of things that can be elaborated on.

Affiliation: Xanthous Knights
The Order of Xanthous Knights originates within the star cluster 25512121523. The only planets found here, are oceanic planets with strange life that has adapted accordingly. On the planet of Xanthous, there have emerged many different intelligent species. Most notably: The Dras, The Tyr, The Azhedae, and The Gilkni. Together they branched out and colonized the star cluster, and eventually decided on a name. They hold the belief that all species born in Xanthous are equal, though they are xenophobic to other systems and other species. They conquer planets and will allow weaker species to be absorbed, but only if they show “potential to be on par with the Xanthous Folk”.

The Deep Folk
The first two have worked together since they were first born. The Dras and the Tyr may as well be the same species, as they work so closely together. These are known as the Deep Folk, as their homes are at the sea-floor, millions of feet below the surface. It is there that these two species earned powerful wits and astounding strength.

Dras
The weaker of the Deep Folk species, the Dras are smaller than the Tyr, though they are just about as powerful. Many of the Dras people focused more intently on intellectual research than the Tyr. Though many of the top Tyr scientists worked together with the Dras’ own heads to pioneer many other inventions.

Tyr
The Tyr live for a few millennium, with the oldest Tyr being over 100,000 years old. Because of this, the Tyr are a patient people, well adjusted for politics. Their scientists are patient enough to make astounding discoveries, though many of the Tyr people prefer to defend the Dras instead of taking up the pursuit of knowledge for themselves.

The Azhedae
While not as deep down as the Deep Folk, the Azhedae make their homes thousands of feet under the darkness of Xanthous’ endless ocean. They are very intelligent, though the discoveries they made came a few million years after the Deep Folk made them. Still, they worked fast, and when the Deep Folk figured out how to safely rise to the “Thousand-Yard Threshold”, they encountered the young race. Taking them under their fins, the Azhedae have been in debt to the Deep Folk as long as they can remember. Luckily for them, the Order of Xanthous Knights believes that each of the Xanthous species are equal.

The Gilkni
Known as the “Shallows Folk”, the Gilkni have always dwelled near the surface. They are smaller than the Deep Folk and the Azhedae and tribal in nature. A few million years after the Deep Folk figured out how to safely rise to the “Thousand-Yard Threshold”, they figured out how to rise to the “Shallows” without collapsing in on themselves. Here, they encountered the young Gilkni, still stuck in their tribal ways, and waging constant wars upon one another. The Gilkni were “brought up” to the Deeper Folk’s standards for intelligence, though they still cling to their ancient beliefs.

Galatrazh Worms
Originating on Xanthous, the Galatrazh was both revered and hated by the denizens of the deep. Living deeper than the Deep Folk, under the sea-floors, the Galatrazh Worms never achieved a level of intelligence on par with the tribal Gilkni. In fact, they are thought of as beasts, though the Tyr and Dras eventually learned to tame them. Making them simple means of transports was the first step of taming these vicious predators, and using them as beasts of war.

The Xanthous Knights and Bioengineering
Electronics don’t work so well under water, but luckily the rich life of Xanthous gave the Xanthous Knights all sorts of tools to use. The Deep Folk mastered bioengineering faster than most cultures could even begin to come up with the infamous wheel. It was their wheel, in a way. Though their progress was slow, the Deep Folk eventually taught the other races of Xanthous about this, and it is now their preferred method of doing… well… anything. Those loyal to the Xanthous Knights shun the idea of using synthetic technology.
SilverDawn: Yea it's aight go ahead.
Out here among the open stars it is silent. Save for the occasional star blinking out of existence, there is not much worth noting in the empty space betwixt the star sectors. Now the excitement, the excitement is in the bustling sectors where war, trade, and piracy are abundant. Maybe excitement isn't such a good thing. But regardless of where you are in the galaxy, it's probably at peace right about now. The only "wars" currently are being waged by small, insignificant empires. The battles are small and so spread out that it'd be surprising to find yourself in one. They can hardly even be called wars. Sure there's a few of the larger empires that are uneasy, but they haven't broken out in a war quite yet. Perhaps someone is trying to cause one out there, right about now. The economy is doing fine, everyone is receiving a steady flow of income, everything's pretty cheap too. But a few industries may be on the brink of finding that one big find that ruins the economy for everyone. But that's probably not the case for awhile, at least. Tyktz has been quiet, as usual. It's also vacation time for many species, so The Longest Day is buzzing with activity, again like usual. The Market is receiving the same amount of business that it always does, and the merchants there are making loads of credits. Really, the only place that can be described as acting unusual would be The Ghost's Cradle, seeing as how lately a few psychologists have been trying to study the effects of "Cradle Crazies", as some of the more humorous races have taken to calling it. But really it's just a general state of peace in the galaxy right now, maybe that will change soon.
Oni_: Denied. I don't want to see your face ever again. jk bby ily your app is aight.
Bluhart: I like it.

Welp, time to start up the IC.

EDIT: There, have a very lazily done IC post.
Edit: I'm too slow.
I'll post Asz here one day.
One day.
Eventually.
