Li Huojin
Servant: -
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Height: 171.78 (5'8 ft)
Weight: 41 kg (90 lbs)
Personality: Li Huojin didn't get her title as The Heiress in the Chinese Mafia for nothing. She is as ruthless as she is merciless, shown to the real world's dark side as a young child by her criminal parents, she sees the entire world as a place of opportunity, a place where she gets to decide everything through threatening the local populace with what seems to be an army of mobsters that rule a district in China.
She only has a bored look plastered on her face, one could see her either as a delinquent, or a cool person given her listless look. She also likes to put both her hands in the pockets of her jacket mainly because she thinks that waving your hands on the side in sync with her walking style looks "girly or too normal" as if assuming she isn't one herself. She speaks in a cold, monotone voice to anyone she meets and doesn't show nearly enough emotion besides that.
When in combat, she yells or just bursts out her rage at people, preferring the guns first before her magecraft and Miaodao, whenever she's out of bullets, she goes forth and uses the latter two. She's also trigger-happy, to the point where even one insult could make her immediately want to drown them in their own pool of blood. This includes her "Shoot-First-Questions-Later" attitude that is clearly present whenever she's in an argument. She wins by the bullet if the person arguing isn't careful with his or her words. Because of this, she underestimates people with no renown of sorts.
Strengths:
- She is an adept at Kung Fu.
- She has received training in the use of Eastern Weapons.
- She has received basic training in sidearms such as sub-machine guns and pistols.
- She is very agile.
- She is an expert in Fire Magecraft.
Weaknesses:
- She can't take heavy hits.
- She can be overwhelmed by aggressive pressure.
- Because of her Sorcery Trait: Blackfire, she expends prana faster than most magi.
- She has a slow recovery rate due to the lack of Healing Thaumaturgy.
Background: Li Huojin's place of birth was Beijing, China. She did not have an early, peaceful childhood… as soon as she was born, she was told she would be a "killing machine" for the family's reputation across China. She seemed happy for it, giggling constantly, but this was when she was still oblivious, she didn't know what she was getting into until her progress to her early childhood… the stage of a child where the young one must learn all moral values to live a prosperous life on Earth.
Her stage is far from that, as soon as she was able to read and write on her own she was misdirected by her own mother to go to the park for a little break, only to smell gunsmoke as they reached the intended location, she saw people killed for the very first time as a child, blood splattering all over the ground as a gang war erupted in front of them. She was not crying, nor was she trembling… but otherwise, interested, her eyes widened in curiosity as soon as the last of the opposing force died, walking to the bodies of the dead she can't help but feel the life that once filled her eyes fade away as she walked back to her mother and the returning group of the men in suits. The Killing Intent was within her, no question.
Eventually, the Crest of the Huojin family was passed unto her, her entire body would be filled to the brim with Prana and it was also during this time where she began her training in Magecraft, use of Firearms, and training in martial arts as well as the proper use of a specific weapon exclusive to the Asian nations.
She grew older along with the fame of the Black Lotus Triads around China's most famous places in the richer and urban districts of each of the cities. Her sins have grown when she started killing her first person at fifteen and the kill count kept racking up until she was infamously recognized as the Heiress of the Lotus in Beijing.
Abilities:
Kung Fu - Li Huojin stopped as a Red Belt in Kung Fu, she was denied the chance to move further up because of various tensions surrounding her family and the school. Nevertheless, she kept her teaching to heart and will use them if she has to.
Swordsmanship (Miaodao Training) - Li Huojin was taught how to use a Miaodao as she underwent her training as a "Killing Machine", which was later replaced to the Heiress.
Parkour Expert - Li has the agility and speed of a parkour expert. She is able to jump any gap that isn't too large for her, or perhaps climb a tall wall quicker than others.
Thaumaturgies:
Tainted Flames - A stronger, hotter variant of Fire Magecraft that changes the appearance of a bright orange flame now darkened with dark bluish aura that radiates a heat similar to that of a furnace. However, such magecraft require double the amount of od/prana put into it than its regular variant. This is an exclusive thaumaturgy to the Huojin family because of their Sorcery Trait: Blackfire.
Witchcraft (Blood Magic) - While not inherently an expert on the whole thing. She keeps the "blood" of various living creatures in a basic Mystic Code, an amethyst that preserves the essence of a single curse to be applied to someone in the form of physical contact such as kissing.
Elemental Affinities: Fire
Command Seals: Left Hand
Personal Effects: Li Huojin carries around a whip, it is a simple whip with durable material.
Sorcery Trait: Blackfire - A Trait passed down from the Huojin family. The Trait grants the bearer a significant change in the Thaumaturgy they practice in line with their affinities, changing its appearance first and foremost then the effect that comes after. Its effect drastically increases depending on how many have been killed using the magecraft in question, in turn... the prana required increases as well.
Mystic Codes:
Umbral Lotus - A mystic code in the form of a Miaodao, created by the Huojin Family and is passed down from generation to generation. The Mystic Code absorbs any elemental affiliated attack and can be used against them until it the magic inside it drains out.
Essence Preserver - A simple Mystic Code that preserves the essence of something for a lifetime. This is used to hold Li Huojin's various blood magic curses before it can be filled again.
