Current Drawing pictures of my characters and mulling over backstories has to be one of the best (and more common) ways to avoid doing homework for me~

Bio

Konnichiwa, tomodachi ;3 You may call me Sephie, as most people do. I am indeed female, and I have a few years experience of roleplaying. I'm an artist, aiming for a professional career somewhere in art, so all of my OC's are a little...imaginative XD let's just say that I gotta draw my own pictures for almost all of them. I like a lot of detail. I'm also a writer at heart, so if I really let loose, some of my replies in a roleplay can get pretty lengthy. I'm a complete fantasy roleplayer, but I like things on the creepy, slightly violent, action-packed, and dramatic side. With some humor added in there too, of course. I love anime and manga, and I am currently learning Japanese through odd methods of self-teaching (mostly anime and vocaloid songs ^w^"). I love cats, and you're gonna see that a lot in my characters. One of my favorite animes is Soul Eater, closely followed by Elfen Lied and Higurashi. I love playing Pokemon as well, and I'm pretty good at it too. I spend most of my days drawing, listening to music, watching stuff on youtube and playing video games (when I'm not smothered in homework, that is.)

Amber and Clancy both grin wide at Karl’s suggestion, clapping happily.
“Whoa! A true visionary, this one!” Clancy comments to Amber.
“I know! I wish we could help him! I mean, if he was a shadow like us, he COULD make clones of himself to literally go both places at once!” Amber replies back.
“You think we should turn him right now, then?” Clancy blinks.
“Hmm...weeelllll, I’ve got absolutely no reason to doubt his potential for the role! Maybe we could bring him before Queen Shadowelle first? Or bring him after we turn him? Guess it doesn’t matter- if we approve of this guy, then she DEFINITELY will!” Amber giggles back, and both shadows then run to go catch up with Karl.
“CARNIVAL IT IS, THEN! FOR NOW!” Clancy cheers, skipping merrily along, suddenly wearing a shadow hood and carrying a shadow basket with him.
“This’ll be AWESOME!” Amber bounces along, suddenly having a rabbit headband and huge rabbit feet on.

“Kilt and Beard Tavern, eh…? Interesting name.” Meora nods in light approval as she follows everyone else into the tavern. She’s a bit unnerved by the presence of more new people, and nearly pulls her gun out on the angel when she runs for Zed, her assassin instincts telling her it’s an attack, but she quickly realizes otherwise when the demon girl steps forward to introduce herself and the angel. Meora is also quite entertained by the way Kylie explains everyone’s roles in Fedora-Man’s life.
“Nice...I see you guys got a pretty solid group of allies together then. And almost just as weird as my own best friend’s group.” Meora snickers a bit in response to Kylie’s words. “I’m Meora, best friends with a cat demon girl named Sephie, and ally to her twin bro, and all of their friends. I was trained as an assassin for 4 years in the Demon Highlands, and 5 years in Tokyo. I speak Japanese, English obviously, and also whatever language comes from that place.” Meora jerks her thumb in the direction of outside, towards the Demon Highlands. Her ears perk up when she hears the crow on her shoulder talk again. She smirks a bit at what Michael tells her.
“Well, yeah! It’s Seph, one of the most awesome people I know, if not THE most awesome. Just lemme know if you need this power share of yours back to handle her. Y’know, in emergencies, I CAN handle my own for a bit. Even if things get pretty bad down in demon town.”

“H-huh…?” Nelodine blinks, hearing Lucas and watching him back away from her, as if something was wrong. Did something just happen? She feels like maybe something did, but can’t think of anything relating to the subject. Hearing the voices of her friends down in the lobby, Nelodine decides to just rejoin the group down there instead.
“Hey, guys! What’s going on?” Nelodine tries to push her uncertain thoughts back as she greets her friends.
“Meora left on her mission, and Michael took Felixter, and apparently Kiro, to go try and fix Sephie up.” Kayori explains. “Everything alright with you, Nelodine? You were up there awhile.”
“Y-yeah! Yeah! I feel fine. Just some...minor things.” Nelodine opens her palm back up to stare at the milky white orb. She remembers this being given to her by Nymne, and the haunting words about it she left behind, but Nelodine can’t help but feel as though something happened after that. Like a gap in her brain. She tries to shake it off as she turns her full attention back to those in the lobby at this time.
“So, do you think they’ll need help up there? I can try and use some magic…” Nelodine asks.
“No, dear, I think it’s best if you stay down here with us. Should anything happen, I’ll gladly volunteer myself to go up. I have the power to hold her off, and I can’t really be killed.” Ammi smiles in a caring way towards Nelodine, who nods and smiles timidly back.

Kiroketsu and Felixter decide to quiet down in response to Michael, glaring at each other before following him up to the door. Kiroketsu and Felixter both get into prepared positions as they watch Michael unlock the door, Felixter looking more composed, and Kiroketsu looking more and more fake by the minute. However, once the door is open, Kiroketsu shoves Felixter out of the way and dives in first. He aims to tackle Sephie down, but he flies past and hits the scratched wall behind her, only soliciting a bit of attention from her. She whips back to face the doorway and tries to go for the escape, screeching bloody promises of violence as she does, until the barrier stops her. Felixter slips in and steps fearlessly in front of his rampaging sister.
“Sephie, I need you to stop. Calm down.” Felixter locks eyes with his twin, and Sephie seems to pause for a moment before trying to attack him. Felixter dodges out of the way quickly. Kiroketsu shakes himself off and places himself next to Felixter.
“What do we do now?! Knock her out? I mean, I could do that, but it seems so ungentlemanly….she’ll probably remember it and hit me for it later, too.” Kiroketsu murmurs.
“Is that really what you’re worried about?!” Felixter huffs in annoyance at the spirit, all the while engaging his hellion form to act quicker and provide more strength to fend off his sister.
“Boys, boys, there’s no need for any of that…..”
Kiroketsu and Felixter are both startled by the presence of Lucille, who now stands between them and the ravenous Sephie, only holding the girl back with a single red-gloved hand.
“OH GOD IT’S THE EVIL SHE-WITCH-QUEEN FROM HELL!” Kiroketsu cries, trying to hide behind Felixter even though he’s nearly twice the boy’s height.
Felixter rolls his eyes, then looks up at Lucille. “Were you here the whole time? I swear I just now heard you from the lobby…..”
“Oh no. I came up here for a few reasons. I thought you’d need help, I learned of some new news, and I figured you’d like to hear a...deal I have for you.” Lucille starts to grin.
Felixter already didn’t like the tone that came with the mention of this…”deal”....but he figures he should hear her out anyway. “Right then...what do you want? What have you learned?”
“I know a way to get Sephie back the other portion of her soul. You know, part of the reason she can’t handle her own powers and is so unstable is because she’s still missing half of her soul, as I’ve explained before. So, I’ve finally found a brilliant way to fix it, that might help us all in more ways than one if it works!” Lucille explains. “You have to do something for me to be able to do it now, though. This might be the most perfect chance we have, because she’d hold no malice towards you if you did it now….”
“Do what now…?” Felixter narrows his eye.
“For me to take her down into the afterlife and get her the soul, I need you to kill her. Nothing big. It doesn’t have to be all 9 lives at once or anything. Just stab her in the heart or something quick and easy like that.” Lucille replies.
“SAY WHAT?! Felixter, no! You can’t! S-she’s your sister, man! And more importan- er, I mean, as a less important side note, you’ll be killing ME too, and then I’ll have to be down there with Lucille! Y-you can’t do that to me, man!” Kiroketsu begs.
Felixter, while ignoring Kiroketsu entirely, thinks over the deal. He glances from his crazed, insane sister, to Lucille’s almost deceptively pleasant smile.
“She would be normal after this….?” Felixter sighs.
“Felixter!” Kiroketsu shouts.
“More in control than she is now.” Lucille purrs back. “Side effects might vary, but they would do that anyway with any soul we got.”
“.....Fine.” Felixter gets out his claws.
“FELIXTER!” Kiroketsu raises his voice in desperation. He tries to stop Felixter, but Lucille lets go of Sephie, and now turns to hold Kiroketsu back. Sephie immediately lunges for Felixter, but with his long claws, all he must do is hold out his paw, and his sister is impaled in the heart from her own force. Felixter takes great care in removing his claws from his sister, as he doesn’t want to rip out her heart and instantly kill all 9 of her lives. Or, whatever number she has left. 7 or 6, possibly, by now.
“Thank you, Felixter, my precious little cat demon child. The other precious little cat demon child shall be taken care of. And I believe the result will be beneficial for everyone….” Lucille picks up Sephie’s body as a wispy black portal opens at the back of the room. Kiroketsu is already fading in color.
“Nooooooo…..” Kiroketsu whines, flopping onto the floor.
“So...who is this soul donor, anyway?” Felixter would’ve asked this earlier, but he realizes that Lucille probably wouldn’t have told him then, and probably wouldn’t right now either.
“If I told you, you wouldn’t let me do it. But honestly, it’ll work out one way or another. You just have to trust me.” Lucille gently sets Sephie down on the floor next to the portal, and then turns around to step towards Kiro. She grabs him by the tail and tosses the screaming 10-foot monster spirit guardian into the portal behind her as if he weighed no more than a plush doll. Which, as a spirit, he probably did weigh no more than that.
“...Right. I figured I wouldn’t get a clear answer.” Felixter frowns a bit.
“Worry not, my dear. If all works out as I expect, you’ll love me by the end of this.” Lucille pats his head, then scoops Sephie back up, and leaves through the portal.

Lucille walks back into her home territory, Hell, with Sephie soundly unconscious in her arms. Kiroketsu lies on the hot red ground in front of her, his color returning.
“Uggghhhhh………..whyyyyyyyyyy…..” He groans.
“Come along then, Kiroketsu. Sephie should wake up soon, and we must make haste, lest our chance slips away from us.” Lucille says in a friendly tone, even humming as she walks past him towards the darker recesses of the eternal torture prison.
“Where...w-where are you taking her?!” Kiroketsu scrambles to get himself up, his duties as a guardian becoming much more evident to him now suddenly.
“Towards the person who will give her half of their soul. Or, rather, the creature….” As Lucille leads him forward, Kiroketsu can’t help but notice how dark and distorted it’s starting to get around them.
“It’s a good thing my eyes glow in the dark, man….” Kiroketsu whimpers.
“Hush, we’re almost there.” Lucille is still humming as they approach a soft red glow from further ahead. When they finally stop, Kiroketsu recoils in horror at the thing in front of them. Some kind of weird, transparent, fleshy chamber in the middle of a dark, dark room. The dark, illuminated by the reddish glow from the thing, reveals more of the details of it, like the veins pumping...something into the heart-like chamber, and holding it in place from all sides.
“Oh god, what the hell is this?!” Kiroketsu gags a little.
“The holding place of an old familiar figure of yours, who’s about to be released onto the world once more…” Lucille steps closer to it with Sephie.
From inside of the thing, something swims closer to the transparent walls, to get a good look at the group in front of it. Kiroketsu’s eyes widen in horror. The tiny figure, pink fur, black cape and boots, the tall ivory horns, one being crooked at the top...and those black and red eyes. No doubt about it, it’s-
“Well, well…..hello there, Lucille. Come to taunt me more about the fact that you trapped me down here for so long? It’s been over a year…” The Master sneers.
“No. I have something different in mind.” Lucille grins maliciously at the demon lord. “Something to weaken you before you break out this time.”
“Nng….wha…?” Sephie opens her eyes a bit, looking around in a tired, dazed fashion.
@Snarfulblast @ShadowVentus

“Well...what a splendid battle.” Sephie has her arms crossed as she watches the epic battle between Serph and Heat draw to a close. “...Wish I could’ve been a part of it.”
“Oh please, Sephie. No one would’ve wanted that. You have to be protected. If you weren’t Euphoria would….ugh…” Pipley shivers at the thought of Euphoria going berserk like she did the last time Sephie was seriously wounded in battle. It was bad enough that the Sylveon had high Special Attack and Pixilate for an ability, but then she just had to have Hidden Power Fire as well...what a terrifying Pokemon…
“Euphoria, or you, or Raven, or Sachiko…” Sephie laughs. “Yeah, yeah. You got a point there. You guys go berserk. But that’s just because you care!” She then turns her eyes towards Sera and Ventus at Serph’s side. “Think we should be helping them?”
Pipley and Sephie suddenly turn as Lucas comes in with his Miltanks to heal Serph.
“Ah...guess that’s not necessary.” Sephie nods. She looks back at Lucas, listening to his request. She seems a little disconcerted by his request, but not as much as Pipley is.
“Alright Pip. Pokeball time.” Sephie starts getting a Pokeball off of her belt, which appears to be painted with an orange flame design.
“Now wait a second. I don’t know if I trust this-” Pipley starts.
“It’s fiiiiiiiine, Pipley. I’ll be okay if push comes to shove. If not, you can use your magic psychic powers to know what’s going on, and then your willpower to break out of the ball on your own, right?” Sephie winks.
“I...I guess…” Pipley sighs.
“Good boy!” Sephie grins, and puts Pipley back into his Pokeball, buckling it onto her belt again. “Now, I just gotta wait for all 4 of the others to show up…”

“Very well...I could see no reason not to let you lead the interrogation, Vanitas. You have served me well thus far.” Montainum agrees with Vanitas’ request, then moves towards the intercom pad built into his desk. He presses the one for the nurse’s clinic with his nose, and waits. Before long, a witchy voice starts speaking to him.
“Yeeeeees, Lord Montainum~?”
“Violetta,” Montainum responds, “You are needed in the office. We have possible wounded here that need checking immediately, for one is scheduled for interrogation.”
“Ah, I see. Shouldn’t take me but 5 seconds or so to to reach you.”
Montainum and the others wait, and as said, the Mismagius is there after exactly 5 seconds pass. She glides right through the wall of the room instead of using the door, stopping in front of Aruba and Ai-yu.
“My word! A Celebi, and a shiny at that! I haven’t even seen a regular Celebi in years! Heh...you remember her, don’t you, Monty?” Violetta grins fiendishly at Montainum.
“Yes...it was a shame about her…” Montainum replies.
“Well, well. Hello there, Nurse Wicked. How goes the business?” Darkclaw purrs jokingly.
“Heheh, don’t you have backup to go provide?” Violetta sneers back.
“Tch! H-how’d you know about that?” Darkclaw frowns, but all the same, he leaves and hurries on his way to go provide backup for Heat, as ordered.
“Now, let’s take a look-see…” Violetta hums, starting to examine Aruba and Ai-yu. Ai-yu is paralyzed with fear the whole entire time, unwilling to let go of Aruba. Eventually, this behavior gets in Violetta’s way, but she giggles rather than getting upset. “Aw, she’s so terrified that she won’t let go of her captor! How utterly adorable.” Here, let me help you with that…”
Suddenly, Violetta utilizes a Phantom Force attack to split the two Pokemon up, and hold Ai-yu in place with a shadowy hand. She panics and starts to squirm, but quickly finds that there’s not much she can do. Violetta finishes looking over the two and uses Pain Split both to wake up Aruba, and help heal her.
“Agh!....Oh...Violetta…” Aruba mumbles, still in a bit of a daze.
“Alright. Both of these pokemon are good to go. Aruba should head back to her resting quarters and sleep off the little haze that’s left.” Violetta declares. “I shall stay here and watch this little one until the interrogation starts.” She eyes Ai-yu gleefully, which only frightens the Celebi more.
“Right then.” Montainum uses his intercom pad again, this time pressing the button for the cell room. “Vanitas? Violetta is through, and waiting to release the Celebi into interrogation.”
Tatakumei turns her head to glance at Spookton’s figure in front of her cell, but says nothing. She’s too worn out to make any sort of real reply, it would seem. She just stares up at Spookton with shining red eyes. Her ears perk a bit when Vanitas enters the room. There seems to be some sort of conflict, but Tatakumei can’t really pay much attention at the moment. She only wonders what these people are doing here, and if they’re here just to hurt her so they have a threat to give back to her mother. Despicable beings...

“H-hm? Ah, yes….yes, that’s right.” Rythian nods at Ventus’ remark towards his heritage. Anything to break this unnerving stare into the blue eyes of a pink, fluffy, ribbon-covered death machine.
“Tch, idiot Darkclaw. Wish he’d just come back and pal around like he used to.” Mystarii huffs unhappily.
“Both have bad blood? Eh, it happens. Never knew my family for long. I lived in captivity from level 3 to level 100. Think they might’ve all been killed in my capture anyways. Maybe…” Electricia mutters, through something in her tone tells those around her subtly that she doesn’t believe she’s all that’s left of her family…
“Others? Ah, he must mean those other Pokemon presumably in battle over there. Thought I heard them earlier.” Rythian comments half to himself as he watches Ventus leave.
“Is that battle where Seph went?” Electricia turns to Sachiko and Euphoria.
“Yes, indeed...she’s there with Pipley and Ai-yu, I believe.” Sachiko replies. Her ears perk a bit when Sha suddenly enters the scene, accompanied by calming music. The others startled by his appearance are all calmed quickly.
“Pink psycho? Aw, thaaaanks!” Euphoria giggles at Sha happily in her calmed state, which really just means she’s slightly less likely to attack, and her grin is just slightly less crazy. Then she turns to Aqua, her eyes lit up.
“You’ll play with me? Really?! Ehehehehe~!”
“Oh please...spare the young Pokemon…” Sachiko shakes her head. “She doesn’t want to end up like me so soon…”
“Who are these Pokemon? Do you know them?” Rythian inquires in a relaxed tone, looking at Sha, Poof, and Ming.
“We believe them to be allies. They belong with another trainer, who is with Sephie at the moment.” Sachiko explains.
“Ah, cool. I’m not in any mood to attack people right now anyway.” Mystarii stretches idly.
Name: Cadaver
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Species: "Oh, just your everyday, average, conniving demon...heheh..."
Living or Dead?: Dead, technically
Abilities: Light hypnotism (lasts minutes after he leaves), Using his daughter's energy to power his own strength, use of black magic, opening rifts into hell at will with no use of tools (unlike Klouille)
Description: Cadaver, as he goes by, is a red-skinned demon creature who stands at 6 feet, has a pair of large ivory horns, and bright green eyes. He wears a fancy black, dark purple, and brown suit, with a matching cape, bow tie, and a top hat which is impaled through the top by his left horn. He also has some blonde hair on his head. Cadaver is the father of Klouille, as well as her boss, as the two run a small thief gang, consisting of themselves, and Klouille's pet, Little BatCat. Cadaver is a dangerous smooth-talker, a good dancer, and good at scheming and planning in advance. Despite how he acts every now and then, he considers his daughter the best thing he ever stole from anyone in all of his years of being a thief...

Name: Klouille
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Species: "Daddy's little everyday, average, conniving demon girl~!"
Living or Dead?: Living (Half human, half demon)
Abilities: Strong hypnotism (lasts maybe an hour or more after she leaves), creating illusionary clones of herself, using her father's energy to power her own strength & engage her full demon form, use of black magic
Description: Klouille is a bit of a tall girl for her age, with fair skin, scarlet-colored hair that flows just a little past her shoulders, and blue demon's eyes. She looks almost completely human, except for the large ivory horns, magenta demon tail, eyes, and fangs. She wears a white blouse with a red ribbon on her collar, brown pants that reach just past her knees, a long dark gray button-up coat, purple and black boots, and quite a large top hat that covers her right horn. After she was born, Cadaver, her father, stole her from her mother and never, ever returned with her. As a result, Klouille is very attached to her father, taking after him in ways ranging from attitude, to powers, to even thoughts. She goes around with her father and her pet, Little BatCat, thieving whatever catches their collective eyes. Klouille is a good sweet-talker, dancer, and good at on-the-spot plans or solutions to problems.

Name: Little BatCat (BC for short)
Age: ???
Gender: Male
Species: "Chirrupee! Chir-chirrup!" (Um...a...Bat-cat thing?)
Living or Dead?: Living
Abilities: Turning into a huge monster version of himself when angered, breathing fire, blinding speed
Description: Little BatCat looks like a small floating blue furball with cat ears, 4 tails of different blue shades, four tiny little paws, red eyes, and a couple of thin, frail-looking bat wings. Klouille keeps a purple ribbon tied around the base of his four tails, (since you can't really fit a collar on something that doesn't appear to have a neck). BC is quiet, but absolutely loves sweets. He's often used for distractions during the schemes of Klouille and Cadaver. He is a devoted pet to Klouille, and if anything happens to her, BC will go into an uncontrollable rage, and engage his own true monster form...
Meora is caught by surprise when the box she’s holding suddenly starts talking, and bursts open. Before she can even take one of her many guns off of her holster, though, she witnesses the toy bear grow to the size of an actual bear, and then pull out a gun, which then proceeds to transform as well, from a toy into a lethal weapon. A smirk makes it’s way across her face.
“...I’ll admit it. That was pretty awesome just now.” Meora chuckles. She opens her mouth to give an explanation, but Joe beats her to the punch. Then suddenly there’s a Dwarf walking towards them from out of some bushes (and Meora finds herself wondering what he was doing there in the first place...ugh. Kiroketsu really IS a bad influence), who Joe and this big teddy bear, apparently named Zed, seem to know. On top of that, the Dwarf’s name appears to be Snarfulblast. Not the weirdest name Meora’s known...but up there, somewhere.
Meora waits for Michael to show up, hoping for just the smallest bit of sense to be made somewhere, but instead a crow flies out from the portal and lands on her shoulder, which again, nearly makes the wary neko reach for her guns. However, Meora notices how much more powerful she feels with the crow on her shoulder, and then hears Michael’s disembodied voice, explaining the situation. She nods slowly once everything has been said.
“Hai….okay then....just, as long as this thing won’t peck my face or poop on my shoulder. Guh, I remember one of the other assassins at the Japanese base I trained in had a parrot. Kami-sama, was it annoying...so, then I ate it. The guy never found out either, but everyone knew it was me. I was thanked for at least a week.” Meora cackles a bit. She starts following Snarfulblast, along with the others, and then turns to listen to Zed.
“Ah, well...if we assume this Sochi guy to be one of the Master’s underlings, he’ll be in the rich part of town. The Demon Highlands have only a few significant features. The slums make up most of it. Then there’s the rich neighborhood surrounding the castle, and the Demon Square is the center of the place, leading to any part you would wanna go. Oh, yeah, and then there are some smutty clubs sprinkled around, some clinics that provide drug dealers with what they need, underground societies of every kind of horrible criminal imaginable, and back alleys. Lots and lots of back alleys. You don’t go into those. Well, at least, you don’t go into those with the intention of walking back out just fine and dandy.” Meora explains. “So, my suggestion is to head for the square, as Sephie and I always do when we have to venture through that place. Might be able to ask around for Sochi. Who knows? Maybe he could have a connection to some of the people I know who live in the Demon Highlands. Not in a friendly sense, though. The only people I know here are just Seph’s enemies.”

The group of friends in the lobby stand by as Michael sends a feathery replacement to head off on the mission with Meora and the others. The noise upstairs from Sephie’s rampage has grown worse in the meantime.
Felixter’s ears perk up upon being called by name. He nods in agreement. “Right, Michael. To be honest, I’d have probably accompanied you either way, at this rate…”
Felixter starts to follow Michael to the room where his sister is, but at that moment, the pair are almost run into by screaming purple blur. It comes to a halt in front of them, and Felixter sighs a bit at the sight of the fleeing spirit guardian.
“O-oh! H-h-heyyyyy there, guys! What’s up?” Kiroketsu calms himself down a bit and tries his best to play it cool. Unsurprisingly, Felixter isn’t buying it in the least.
“Oh, well, it appears that we were just going on our way to do your job, Kiro.” Felixter responds.
“Gyah! I-I didn’t expect such coldness from YOU!” Kiroketsu almost flinches at the remark. He clears his throat, “Look, I have been doing my job! I mean, besides you, I’m one of the most experienced when it comes to handling Sephie in this state. Everything is under control, thanks to me-”
Kiroketsu is cut off with his own startled squeak when more demon gibberish is shouted from the upper floor, followed by the sounds of what is surely a wall getting smashed…
“....Right. Well, we’ll be off then. Perhaps you should stay here.” Felixter starts to move past Kiroketsu, but the stubborn spirit just follows him.
“No! I won’t let you show me up in front of my beloved Sephie! No way am I letting you leave me behind!” Kiroketsu huffs.
“...See, the only reason you’re acting tough now is because you’re not alone. Now there are other people who are on their way to confront my sister. Others you can fall back on in case you should fail. Sorry, Kiroketsu, but you aren’t Marko. You’ve got no bravery.” Felixter shakes his head with a chuckle.
“D-don’t compare me to that other spirit guardian! That...that poser!” Kiroketsu cries, seeming quite offended. “Why do you guys prefer him to me so much, anyway?! Besides, he’s not even here!”
“Well, we were unsure about leaving Silversa and Marko alone, so they might be coming here as well. Though, now that the witches are her instead, I’m not so sure.” Felixter shrugs. “And we prefer him to you because he’s a gentleman, and is actually devoted to his job. It’s as simple as that.”
From the lobby, the rest of the people there listen in on the conversation between Kiroketsu and Felixter.
“...Tch. I expected no less. Such a foul spirit, that Kiroketsu…” Lucille growls under her breath.
“Do you think they’ll be okay…?” Ammi murmurs with concern.
“Oh yeah. Michael and Felixter are there. With them there, it’ll be fine.” Kayori laughs.
“What about purple-kitty-man- Er, uhm, Kiro?” Mirui asks.
“...Felixter and Michael are there. With them there, it’ll be fine.” Kayori answers.

Nelodine, all the while, is still wandering some of the upper floor halls. In the distance, she can hear Sephie’s mad roars, but tries not to pay it any mind with the hopes that she’s securely trapped within that magically-locked room. She looks back down at the marble-sized, saddening milky-white orb that Nymne gave to her before fleeing from a window.
“...8...she said there were 8 of us...but, there’s only 6, right? Then...did he create more?” Nelodine murmurs to herself.
Before she can get much more into her thoughts, she hears a light tap on one of the windows near her.
“Nelodine! Nelodine, out here!”
“Hm?” Nelodine recognizes the voice as a little cat demon named Kieru, Sephie’s niece. She walks over to the window, but can’t see any sign of the little girl. She opens it and looks around outside, craning her neck this way and that to try and spot Kieru.
“Kieru? Is that you? For goodness sake...I-I thought we told you to stay home! The witches are already here, s-so it’s not safe!” Nelodine calls out of the window.
“But, Nelodine, you let Cloudy and her brothers come! And they’re younger than me!” Kieru’s disembodied voice whines at Nelodine, and all the while, something starts crawling through the window. A tiny little creature with fangs and claws, glowing with magic energy…
“That was for a specific reason...C-Cloudy and her brothers were in the heavens beforehand, and from there, they were able to see what was going on earlier, so they knew how to help the others. We had to take them here. Ohh...Kieru, please, I don’t know if Sephie would be happy for you to be here if she were of sound mind right now…” Nelodine continues with her explanation to the girl she assumes is there with her. The little creature she still fails to notice is on the windowsill, creeping closer.
“Oh? Sephie’s not of sound mind? Heh...then this’ll be even easier…sister.”
Nelodine is taken aback when the voice suddenly becomes that of her youngest sister, Noruani. Before she can ask, the creature on the windowsill lunges at her, and latches onto her throat. Nelodine stifles a horrified, pained gasp when it slices right into her throat, and crawls in. On the way, the creature severs her vocal chords, so she cannot scream. Nelodine feels as if she’s about to fall unconscious, and maybe die...but then, her vocal chords and throat heal themselves up. She feels strange, and has a weird sparking feeling inside of her body, but for the most part...relatively okay. Though, she had no recollection of what had just happened, or why she came close to collapsing just now.
Outside, the smallest of the witch sisters walked back towards the dark forests, giggling to herself as she recalled the instructions given by Nimika earlier, concerning Nelodine.
”What we’ll do, dear sisters, is relatively simple. It’s something we could only do so well by combining our powers.” Nimika began with a smirk.
“Ahhh, of course! I mean, there’s 6 of us for a reason….we’re powerful on our own, but together, we’re absolutely deadly…” Natasha’s own evil grin had stayed strong. “I already love this, and I haven’t even heard the idea yet, sister!”
“Well, I shall explain, then.” Nimika nodded. “As Noruani told us, Nelodine is sensitive and very fragile in her regular, conscious state of mind. But...what if we were to subconsciously alter this a bit? Maybe...control her, a little?”
“Control her…?” Numirra yawned.
“Now I’m extremely interested.” Noruani got a glint to her own eye. “Of course...being me, I think I know where this is going…”
“Yes, Noru. We’re going to combine our powers and create...something similar to a chip or a device. Except, it’ll be organic; a creature. When it latches onto her, she won’t remember that it’s there. Not even when it’s activated.” Nimika snickered. “See, Noruani was right. There’s a gentle balance between Nelodine thinking she’s useless, but could still come back to us...or thinking that she’s useless, and getting rid of herself completely. So, we have to gently ease her our way by controlling her through this...let’s call it a ‘Magic Bug’. Now, the easiest thing would be to just have her immediately turn on her ‘friends’ with this power over her...but that’d be too suspicious. No, we have to take it little by little. Noruani will be in control of the Magic Bug, and thus, will also be able to know what’s going on with our dear, lost sister at any point in time. Noruani will be our observer, and depending on what she sees, she, as well as the rest of us, will command what Nelodine should do at certain points. It’ll be like flipping a switch. We’ll make her act...’differently’ towards her friends. This way, we can cause a natural turn in her behavior and thoughts, as well as those around her.”
“That’s brilliant!” Natasha broke into a joyous cackle.
“Right then. Don’t you worry about a thing. Make the bug, and I’ll find a way to get it to Nelodine.” Noruani agreed with glee.

“Ehehehehe~! All according to plan...now the real fun can begin…” Noruani continues to giggle creepily in the dark of the forest, near the witch’s hideout...

“Oooh! Me next, ME NEXT!” Clancy cries, shapeshifts into a tire with a face, and then rolls down the hill after Karl.
“Wait for MEEEEEEEE!” Amber shouts, shapeshifting into a huge spiked rolling pin as she rolls down the hill with them.
Upon reaching the bottom, the two shadows flip into the air, transform back into their default forms, and land on their feet, hand in hand.
“Ta-daaaa~!” Amber sings.
“Right! So, what do ya wanna do first?! We could go to the shadow petting zoo-” Clancy starts.
“-Where ALL the animals have 5 rows of sharp fangs! Even the baby deer!” Amber interjects.
“-Or we could go straight to the carnival, which is pretty much the main part of this whole world!” Clancy continues. “And after we’re done in Shadowland, we can move over to it’s extension, Caria! That’s where Queen Shadowelle lives!”
Abernathy looks between Ater and the newly-transformed Makoto, then lets out a sigh. "Well...it's complicated, but you could say...that she's this mansion's current 'owner', so to speak..."
"Damn right I am. You people should treat me with more respect, since you're in my lair..."
From a mass of pitch-black shadows off in a nearby entrance to the room, a figure steps out into the light to meet Minako and the others. She looks like an ordinary 13-year-old girl, wearing a regular-looking girl's school uniform. Her hair is long and black, and her eyes are dark enough to look nearly black as well. She would seem totally normal...if not for the sinister vibe she gives off, and the smirk on her face.
"My name's Lavenshade." The girl introduces herself. "Penelope Lavenshade."
"The same name as the mansion..." Minako murmurs, a bit confused.
"Ah! Miss Penelope! Hiiiiiiii again!" Amaiyo grins, waving to the girl excitedly.
"So...you know Amaiyo, too." Minako turns her eyes back onto the new girl. "And also...you fit the description in the story. The original owner's younger daughter had a friend who looked just like you, apparently. Care to explain you connection?" Minako was getting slightly irritated as well, but she wanted to hold off on her own transformation for a bit longer, to see if she could reason regularly. Something told her this wouldn't go the ideal way, though....
"No, I don't care to explain anything to you people, because I'd prefer if you weren't here at all." Penelope retorts, keeping a polite tone all the while as she crosses her arms in front of the group. "I'll admit...I've been watching you, and I'm more impressed with you than the last group of stupid teenagers that wandered in here. Idiots, they were. However, they were all just straight-up living humans. You have outside ghosts, and now 'demi-fiends' on your side, it would seem. Hell, you even got Amaiyo here to be on your side. Not that such a thing is really hard..."
"Penelope, listen, we're only trying to help all of the ghosts here get free. And to do that, it seems that we have to investigate further into this mansion's history. If you could just cooperate-" Minako begins.
"-Yeah, I know all that. I've heard it all before." Penelope snarls back. "But I'm one of the few not trapped. I'm also the 3rd when it comes to people who know the most about what's going on, and the history of this place. Why won't I tell you anything willingly, then? Because you don't understand how much harm you'd be doing to everyone if you did actually get to the bottom of this. This place was turned into the soul-sealing place it is now for a reason. If you found that reason, and freed everyone...then it'd be over. It'd be over, and he would come back. Then my friend, that daughter you speak of, would be hurt all over again. I promised to protect her. No matter what. Even if that means imprisoning so many...I'll keep this place in check. If I have to drive you out of here myself, then I will." With those final words, Penelope's hair starts swaying a bit, though there's no breeze in the room to be found.
"...Miss Penelope..." Amaiyo frowns for once, and steps in between Minako and the secretive girl. "I'm sorry. You're a really good friend, but...I promised I'd help my new friends here, and promises are important, right? So..." She starts reaching for the knife in her front pocket, but Penelope only smiles, crouches down to the cat angel's level, and pats her head.
"It's okay, Amaiyo. I understand. Don't worry, we won't fight." Penelope grins.
"....Not in front of you, anyway."
Suddenly, her hair possesses a life of it's own, and takes Amaiyo by surprise, wrapping itself around her neck under her neck ornament. There's a sickening snap, and Amaiyo goes limp. Penelope stands back up, and uses her hair to carelessly toss the body aside.
"She'll be back in a little bit. I just didn't want her to have to distress over her friends fighting. Tch, if you can even claim to be her friends..." Penelope explains herself before anyone can raise an objection. "Now then...Sylena, Luxton, and Abernathy. None of you will interfere with this. Is that clear?"
"....Yes, mistress." Luxton and Sylena shuffle back a little from the scene.
"Why must it always be this way....?" Abernathy sighs, but reluctantly backs off as well.
"...I was hoping to reason with you, but I suppose that won't be happening this time around. Maybe we'll just have to beat the information out of you, then." Minako states as she herself is surrounded by a pinkish-red glow, and transformed into her own demon form.
"Heh. Fine then. It's a deal. Either I beat you out of this place, or you beat me into telling you what you wanna know, you destructive bastards." Penelope grins, now baring fangs, and her hair floating around now like restless snakes. She unfurls a pair of large wings that look to be made almost completely from darkness.
@SephietheEvil
If I had a drink on me right now, I would figuratively toast to that! However, in my opinion, I feel that it wouldn't hurt to possibly open this RP up to the public and see if anyone's interested? It could help with story development and not only revolve around the same characters.

<XD Well, it's probably good that you don't have a drink on you. Your clothes would be soaked then.
I personally have no problem with opening this RP up to the public, but it's Lucas's RP, so we should let him have most of the power in that decision. :3
@Snarfulblast@ShadowVentus
Well, I don't think we should worry UwU True, it's a shame to lose people regardless, but I have faith that we 3 have the power to carry on extravagantly! ;3 We've got more than enough ideas~
(This is my terrible attempt at a pep-talk. I apologize.)
@Snarfulblast@ShadowVentus

"Only two living guys? Oh, well, that's fine. Even having just one around is a treat." Sylena purrs in reply to Lucas's comment.
Amaiyo's ear twitches when she hears her name being spoken, and she listens in on Fred and Lucas with a grin. "Of course I won't hurt you! I mean, I'm not assigned to. Not yet. I'm not assigned to go after anyone at the moment..."
"Well, I'll support that view, for the most part." Abernathy nods at Makoto's statement on other ghosts being aware of the investigation group's presence. "Most of the ghosts here aren't particularly hostile...just, maybe not so trusting. Though, those few that are hostile...well, I hope I can at least be by your side for such inevitable encounters..."
Sylena giggles delightedly at Makoto's words directed at her, a small grin making it's way across her face. "How sweet of you to say, darling..."
"So...can you tell us what you know about this whole mystery, then?" Minako smiles politely at Luxton.
"Ah, a girl with manners! Just my type." Luxton winks at Minako, then clears his throat and gets a bit more serious. "Yes, we'd be happy to tell you lovely people what we've experienced. Sylena, you should start. It always makes more sense when you do."
"Gladly." Sylena nods in agreement before beginning her tale in a more serious tone as well. "You see...Luxton and I found Negloria town when individually looking for places to scout around, as it was our natural job. We both decided that, as a small town far from others, it'd be a relaxing, easy place for us to work. From there, we began working as partners, and both of us managed to find jobs as employees to Lavenshade Mansion. Of course, we both worked jobs that suited our needs for attracting others to us. Luxton was a bar attendant, and I was a performer. I used to sing and dance on the stage of the large ballroom. I suppose you've not been there yet...because us two are usually there, and this is the first we've seen of you all."
"I wasn't aware that this place had a ballroom...but, for such a large mansion, it certainly fits." Minako starts searching the foyer with her eyes, trying to identify what could be a door leading to such a ballroom. Luxton catches this (as he's only been eyeing Minako the whole time Sylena has been talking), and chuckles.
"Don't fret, my dear. We can show you all the ballroom once we're finished here. Perhaps we could even dance together." Luxton grins lightly.
"Anyways...yes, we've existed for centuries, but most of what we recall on the important side of things is when this mansion's owner was indeed still alive. This mansion was built by his younger self in the late 1800's, so we came years afterward. His eldest daughter was engaged, and his younger daughter was outgoing, but quite polite." Sylena continues on.
"So...the owner had two daughters, not one. Interesting. Go on." Minako takes note of that fact. Earlier, they did receive info that the master of the mansion had a daughter, who they'd all guessed was Negloria...but with two daughters, there could be something more to it. She prepares to take more important mental notes while continuing to hear what the Succubus and Incubus have to say.
"He was a very kind soul, always throwing lavish parties for nearby townspeople to attend, letting the little children who went on daring 'adventures' out to this mansion in the Shinkuro Woods have prizes and treats for their efforts, and so on. So...what I saw during a certain evening's performance startled me. You see, I was in the ballroom that night, entertaining the guests. I was doing a dance routine of mine, when suddenly, I start hearing shrieks and cries from further down the room. I take a closer look, and see two men in shady, concealing outfits walking away from the mansion's owner. The owner had two girls at his side, one his older daughter, the other being a friend of his younger daughter. The younger daughter was making a fuss, because one of the shady men was carrying her away. All her father and sister did was watch. The young friend, several years older than the young daughter at the time, did pursue the shady men. After seeing all that...well, I took my break, and then attempted to follow the men and the young friend, mostly out of curiosity. I couldn't find them, even when I did walk far past the fence of the mansion. I then went back and tried to locate Luxton. And when I found him...well, tell them what you were doing now, Luxton." Sylena gestures to Luxton to indicate that it is his turn to speak.
"Yes. I almost wish I could've been there to witness all that Sylena had, but at the time, I was already on my break from service in the ballroom's bar. I was strolling about the halls when I noticed a large group of men being led by one girl to a room upstairs. My curiosity was piqued, since I'd assumed that Sylena was the only other Succubus around the area. I decided to tag along with the group and watch. What I got was more gruesome than I'd anticipated. You see...that girl was Myriatte. She led those men in to sacrifice for her own gain. None of them survived. She'd have come after me too, if I hadn't turned into my own demon form in defense, and proven to her that I posed no threat, and could indeed defend myself from a threat as well." Luxton explains. "I escaped, and then ran into Sylena. We then retreated to a safer room to discuss what we both saw. That room upstairs still exists, the murder scene...but no one goes in there if they aren't a ghost. That's Myriatte's room here. Any creature with a body made of blood and flesh can expect not to step out of there unharmed."
Minako takes a moment to think over all she's been told, then looks back at Sylena. "Sylena...do you think the little daughter who was taken away could have been Negloria?"
"Well...that's what I wonder." Sylena replies. "The older daughter had brown hair up in a bun, hazel eyes, and was very polite. I believe that she's Yolani. There's no way she's not. However...the second daughter, the little one, was outgoing, polite, and also had brown hair, but in two adorable, smaller buns. And her eyes were bright hazel, almost amber. That doesn't fit the appearance of our little Negloria at all, does it? The only thing that matches there would be the age...the daughter looked about 5, and so does Negloria."
"I remember what the friend of that younger daughter looked like, though. She had long black hair, and purple eyes, sort of like Negloria. Though...the problem with that identity theory is that the friend was about...13-ish, possibly. Definitely not young enough or small enough to fit Negloria's appearance as we know her now." Luxton offers.
"Tch...great, another living group of kids on an investigation of this place, riddled with demons and ghouls of all kinds. Wow, people today are just so very smart, aren't they?" Another voice, a girl's, joins in on the conversation, but upon looking around, no one else can see where it's coming from. Abernathy stays silent, offering no comment as to who the voice belongs to, but by the look on his reptilian face, it's clear that he does indeed recognize it...
Writer's block, coupled with the ton of schoolwork they're already unleashing onto us -w-" Gweh....
