Nationsheet updated again to give further detail to the religion, now with its own creation story and mythos (Egyptian mythology in reverse)

Currently talking to Isotope concerning the history of my nation. Will begin throwing out idea's for notable past events.
@Willy Vereb@Wernher Concerning dragons, in this case for once the Mesulids don't have a bone to pick due to religion. The dragon rode by the antithesis god is an analogy/symbolism of "The sky" rather than stating dragons are literally evil. The dragon in the mythos is also more avian than saurian in nature.

If Wernher's people worshiped dragons as being representing the sky/wind/air/etc, then it would be a different story.
@Serpentine88Can I have a certain population of Mesulids serving Yllendthyr?
They usually take up marine jobs or duties which even explicitly rely on their skills. I imagine Mesulids can teach me a thing or two in regards the use of sonars. And that's just one example, ofc.
Say, it's possible that certain male Mesulids aren't satisfied with their current status in society go on an adventure to live in different countries.

It is possible, as emigration does happen, though it also means ethnic minority enclaves. As for social outcast Mesulids, that one is interesting. Be warned though, apostates are typically despised back home and publicly (that is, intentionally) appearing to be harbouring them will cause tensions.

On the note of emigration/immigration, I will need to figure out the minorities of other species inside my empire as well as the demographic makeup of the empires colonies... How many elves would be in the empire...
So, can I have a rundown of this settings history? (Major wars, etc)

@Willy Vereb: That isn't helping, lol.
@Willy Vereb Yeah, I already intended to buy Mithril.

Hm.... I realized how unbelievably difficult it is to find good pictures of male naga/mermaids/etc. I've found like a bajillion women but only like 3 males (That aren't horrible or have extreme gender dimorphism), at this point I am considering just going the @Darkspleen route and going full on monogender lamia.
@Skepic Yeah, lol. When I read your sheet, I realized how we are essentially the absolute polar opposites in nearly every single way (Except economics, we both seem to be capitalist-orientated), and yeah, our military forces are polar opposite as well and would result in a stalemate... Forever...

Being an underwater nation I think the relation between you and other races were cold until the last few centuries. When did you take interest in surface lands, anyway? Especially the one found on the main continent. That'd be the real turning point in terms of politics.

Good question, I am mostly trying to figure out the worlds history so I can figure out when my empire started expanding onto the surface. Without any input from others though, I'd guess around 100 years ago at least (So probably between 100-400 years ago)

Also while humans are the most numerous one of the major colonial powers are elfish (my Heavenly Empire of Yllendthyr).
Speaking of which since my worship treats the sky and the stars as sacred symbols while your nation seems to consider the opposite I wonder if it has any impact on our relations?

Probably. My nation is deeply religious (And state and religion is essentially 100% fused together), though its current government is more pragmatic than usual due to its need to industrialize using foreign help. In summary: My governments current leadership is willing to pretend to tolerate the other faith but my common people and overall ruling caste (particularly the religious sects) would see your religion as a particularly deviant faith.

Hopefully not because I technically have 3-4 tiny islands in the center of your territory (almost invisibly small dots on the map thousand or so kilometers from Avalia, my previous claim).

Yeah, this is an obvious problem xD. One idea I have for why my nation hasn't done anything about it is some kind of ancient historical treaty or agreement (A land lease or concessions to some old war maybe).

Also how do you manage to build cities thousands of meters underwater? Or perhaps your cities which allow human and other surface dweller visitors are closer to the shores? Could kinda make sense since otherwise building something which can withstand the water pressure would be pain. But if your people can breathe in water they don't need to seal off their buildings at all.

The human-habitable underwater cities are indeed closer to the shore. Basically think Bioshock.
I have posted my nation. Its not fully done (Still need to add army and airforce info and more city and character info).

I also need to do foreign relations and history, however I need other player participation for this.

So, @Everyone else: Can you...
#1: Give me a general rundown summary of the worlds history
#2: Note any area's of history where my nation has probably been involved (Note that its been around for thousands of years)
#3: What are the likely relations in the past considering what my nation is?
#4: What are the likely current day relations?
