Hi! I'm Shade, a girl out of central California. Roleplaying has become a hobby of sorts for me, so here I am on this lovely website. Creative writing is a favorite pastime of mine, so exercising it with the help of other people brings me a lot of joy.

I have school during the day, so I'm usually active from 4-10 P.M. PST.

Yes! Interest Checks are used for gathering interest and to make sure that a Roleplay has enough players to run successfully. Some GMs may post a CS in their Interest Check to allow people to begin developing characters while they finish the specifics of the Roleplay, but most wait until the OOC.
