Well, essentially, I'd like to think of him as a stowaway that makes his earnings by hopping from ship to ship and heading to his target's location, raking in a ton of cash. I would like to think he could use his large amount of money to persuade the two of them to allow him to travel with them. This would definitely benefit them economically.

Fortunately for Raven, Terra had noticed her get sent flying and tailed his comrade, his demon form allowing him to see her in the mist. He quickly picked her up and moved out of harm's way, getting a bird's eye view of the fight from a nearby rooftop. "Just hang in there. Vesper and the others should be able to finish them off." He says to her. "You did great. You gave her an opening.." He adds, wanting to compliment her in some way.

Following suit to Vesper's attack, Terra grins as in a flash of light, he utilizes Satan Soul to transform into a demon. He utilizes the blades on the bottom of his feet to rush the wind barrier, mercilessly slashing away to his heart's content.

Hearing the sound of multiple voices approach the doors, Terra can't help but feel that his patience has been rewarded. Despite already knowing that he wouldn't be choosing who'll be going with him, he knew he'd at least be graced with the appearance of more than one human. It'd allow him to have the chance to see the life he missed out on in many different forms.
